I'm from a village...and my family runs a small flour mill.. our daily income(150Rs/day on average) is much less compared to daily wage labourers (400Rs/day).. but we're richer and have a much higher standard of living than them bcz we (my parents with help of a CA relative) made investments and FDs while the daily wage labourers spend their daily earnings on the same day. that's how important saving and investing is..
