I have found the Mals pick up hard surface without even trying. Such a different beasts to GSD's. They obviously need that drive in the first place but its awesome to watch. My new Mal started tracking in between soft surface tracks across the car parks. Once it was clear that's what he was doing I started dropping washers. It morphed very quickly in to hard surface tracking.
Jas - with your use of a nay reward marker - would be cool to hear what that is. like a warning then if they comply they get a +r? or like i have is a warning then +p if they continue. you made me think :)

I like how the dog mid track looked up at the stranger fast walking right there and immediately went right back to tracking.
