True, my mom absolutely despise the song but love her as a person. We are Croatians so we understand the lyrics better and she just hates the song (I adore it now, didn't like it at first) but we absolutely love her sense of humor and her personality, she is just chill and her interview after she won just swept her of our feets.

And they are all so nice, loved Sam Ryder, Citi Zeni, Cornelia and Monika too! Admit, Eurovision is one of the only events where (people from) countries just come together, get along and have fun!

The Romania's boy seems so typical of them, if my Romanian friends could jump and scream, spin around, dance and tell jokes at the same time would be a dream come true from them. I have the sensation some time that they live just to laugh, if they are in breaks or in theirs free time and they aren't laughing they are in a coma or something, because even when they are seek they absolutely need to make a joke about how they are "dying in peace because it's sun outside" or "don't worry, just a little thing: they just break me/I'm just dyeing/the white wolves are calling me" ( I don't understand from were this phrase, with "don't worry, just a little thing" and something catastrophic after, is coming from, some ro.book or movie I think but they are obsessed with it, I heard it any form you can imagine from "don't worry, just a little thing I just broke my leg" "don't worry, just a little thing I need an operation" to "don't worry just a little thing, she just stab my heart").
Haha very accurate, a fellow romanian here. We call it in romanian - a face haz de necaz - which means to laugh in the face of trouble, Its a national habit of ours. I guess we were so screwed over the time as a nation by politics, politicians and other historical events that is our way as a nation to response, just laugh and mock everything and don't let our spirit be defeated.
