Another great song. Thanks, Rosie. Also because of your channel, I've learned a ton of new songs I've never heard before. So thank you, again, for that.
I haven't heard a bunch of your songs since I was a child! I called my father and told him I want an old banjo of his when I can go down and see him next. He mostly plays three finger and I'll learn what I can from him. Rosie, thank you!
I like this tune, but I like this version best. The outdoor audio quality is much better! You aren't fighting with the wind and it makes you and your banjo sound clearer.
So what's the number of subscribers you will need to acquire to finally announce you are hitting the road and playing gigs near to far? Leastways some festivals to start.
Thanks! I'm in double C tuned down a step for my voice. I learn by ear but it's easy to pick out, I suggest as a beginner trying to get off tab as soon as you can, it really helps in the long run
Thank you for putting this piece together, Frank Proffitt's version of this song as "Cindy" is one of my favorite recordings of his! Dinah does seem to roll off the tongue better somehow, i think. Would you mind telling me what tuning you're in? I've only been playing for about a year now and picking up the tuning from recordings is still a challenge to me. I'd really love to learn this song!
Love all these songs I've haven't heard before....looks nice there...2 feet of snow and minus 20 here in Canadaland!

Thanks! I think this is the first one. I don't uppick too often

Thanks so much! I was higher up in the hills so it was windier this time, seemed to do all right

Thanks for sharing. You're beautiful
Thank you for the inspiring song. I am a beginner banjo player. What is the tuning and where can I get the tab?

Yeah only ever heard this one as Cindy, performed by Ricky Nelson in the movie Rio Bravo.
My friend showed me that version for the first time today haha. Cindy is a really popular folk song
@@roughhouserosie great film.
