I’m sure you already know this but thought I’d throw it out there - for the clear vinyl itty bitty, I attached the zipper pull from the backside of the tape with right sides of vinyl facing each other; that way you don’t need to turn it wrong side out to sew the side seams. I also slid the pull all the way off the first time to fully close it, then re-attached it, thereby keeping both ends of the zipper teeth closed when aligning them to the center marks for sewing the side seams. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome designs and tutorials with us!

Omg watching the struggle is painful. Yes - wait to put the zipper pull on until tape is sewn, insert it twice so both ends are closed, and start wrong side out for the vinyl. ❤

Yay! I made the clear vinyl version with jelly vinyl (more opaque, less sticky) and it’s the perfect size to hold my Accucheck Guide glucose meter that I need to always have with me for when my insulin pump wants a test. Holds meter, lancing device, strip box, extra lancing cartridge, and alcohol wipes. Perfectly small and slides in and out of my purse so easily. ❤

Just made my first bitty bag, love it. There is brown paper on the back which is protective backing you just peel off in case anyone was wondering. I was one of those. 😂

I would recommend using a zipper jig (i think its gypsy quilter brand) and leave the zipper pull off until the zipper tape is all sewn in place

Question about the binding pieces on the clear vinyl: what is the material of the binding? Is it like a bias tape situation with the raw edges enclosed or something totally different that I’m not grasping 🙈 (I feel like it’s the latter but still can’t wrap my head around it 😂). Thanks!
Love your videos! You make everything look so easy & that’s very encouraging.

I'm so frustrated. Can anyone help? My bottom thread just keeps looking up and making a mess. I've rethreaded and put in a new needle. The stitching is perfect on any other fabric. The issue is only with the vinyl. I've also tried with tissue paper underneath

My favorite tutorial yet, thanks Jess. You mentioned the dimensions on the template version are slightly larger. Can you give the cutting sizes so I can try one out at the new size? I’m planning to order templates when you restock, but considering it took months for me to get the snack bag templates (I was never quick enough😂) I’m afraid it might be awhile.
