Beautifully done - Bravo! For starters, all the movements were in the original keys, of which many are "unfriendly" for brass! Then, all the score's many musical subtleties were handled with aplomb! Again, Bravi Tutti!
@turbine1705 there is not a single rubato in the whole piece, all the tempi are chosen to be less extreme, that where there is no risk. You are right they are brushing over these difficulties like there are non, but it just makes it bland for me. One color the whole piece. For a piece about paintings (whiches, ghules, chicken...) thats not enough for me. Especially if you compare it to the amazing Ravel orchestral adaptation. But again, maybe its also the lack of wood or string sounds....
How about considering the term "youth?" These kids blew their butts off, and Maestro instilled the confidence in them that was apparent -- at least to me. I am thrilled by this performance, and while I have performed Pictures a number of times on tenor tuba, I am always encouraged by the ability and the energy of youth as they grow in their musicianship. Thumbs-up all around!
Terrific performance and the audience should have given these performers a standing ovation !!!!!
Best performance of this piece that I have ever heard- and this brass version feels even more natural than the full orchestration to me.
Absolutely fantastic! Perfect in every aspect! Aug. 19, 2022, USA
WOW! Fantastic! Mussorgsky would have loved it.
So would Ravel too !!!!!
Como es posible que esta vaina no se haga viral y no llegue al millon de likes... VIVA VENEZUELA MAESTROS NIVEL DIOS
Bravo! I have never heard Pictures at an Exhibition arranged for just Brass! That was super!
Have a look for PhilipJones cd the World of a version is on the cd its terrific
Брависсимо! Даже слезы навернулись!!
TUBAS, DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!
I knew it! String players, clarinets, and flutes are superfluous. Brass and percussion are all we need!
🤦♂️

Cómo es posible que sean tan buenos? Enhorabuena, y además excelente arreglo.
Utterly magnificent performance! What a brilliant arrangement, and so sensitively conducted and recorded. Bravissimi!
Grandioses spectaculaire
So good, such perfection and passion.
Espectacular!!!!!!!!
Wonderful arrangement, wonderful playing!
bravo bravissimo!!!
Love you guys!!! Fantastic performance!!!
Wonderful! Divine! Thank you!
What a superb performance and, dare I say it, gives the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble recording of this piece, a run for its money!
lol the only difference they only used 10 players.
Congratulations! Fantastic! (from Hungary)
estupendo¡¡¡¡
Bravo, BRAVO!!
Wow! Magistral! 😍
Klasse!
Is this the Elgar Howarth Brass Ensemble or Brass Band arrangement. Seems to be alot of Tubas trumpets and a Euphonium
Was not a huge fan of Bydlo, since it strayed from the usual interpretation of a nearing oxcart. However, very well played altogether!
Gustavo on horn
Looks just like him doesn,t it ???
His name is Rafael Payare and he has actually become a conductor as well now 😆
Excellent playing shame they used everyman and his dog for a piece arranged for 10 piece brass ensemble.
technically brilliant, boring interpretation... or maybe its just the arrangement. would prefered to hear something more risky
Keep searching and good luck.
