I still own The First Day Of Spring and haven't read it. My favorite thrillers would be 1) Drowning by T J Newman, 2) Damage by Caitlin Wahrer, and 3) Aurora by David Koepp. So hard to choose when you have read so many.
Gone Girl and Sharp Objects are two of my favourite thrillers of all time too. I bought The First Day of Spring recently on your recommendation. I'll try to read it around spooky season! I definitely want to read something by Nicci French and Tana French soon ☺
Hey i’m new to reading may i ask two questions..how long does it take you to finish one book, and why do you reread a book whilst you can read new book and discover new gems?
Hi April. I enjoyed the video and have read some of the books, I now have an even bigger wish list My favourite thrillers are Perfect Remains by Helen Field Room by Emma Donoghue Last Thing to Burn by Will Dean And some of the ones you mention too
I love Tana French’s novels and think The Witch Elm is the only one I haven’t read yet. I don’t read that many thrillers because I’m a chicken and my nervous system goes into overdrive… So I’m wondering if Witch Elm is a similar feeling as her other books or more upsetting? I did just read Notes on an Execution for my book club and recommend it!
It's not more upsetting. It really gets into the mind of the main character who ends up quite paranoid. There's actually quite a few funny and also cozy moments in Witch Elm. I hope you like it! I like Notes on an Execution too! So great to get in the minds of these women!
Gillian Flynn said she's in the final edit stages of her fourth novel 😍. I can't wait.
Woohoo! At this point I thought I’d only see it when I was 80 years old ha ha!
Great review. Love watching your videos
Thank you!!

When you hold up a book your hand is often covering the author’s name.
I’m very much in the moment in my videos and not thinking about things like that
