KB a real one and I felt so bad for him as I'm in that age where like my parents are slowing down HARD and I have like 1 grandparent left. You just have to remember the good times and not the sorrow about the times you might have went out with your friends instead of staying home to watch another boring movie with your parent, they get it they know we're not ultimately into the same things even though we may at times share certain interests in movies, sports comedy etc. Can't look back on those times that you COULD have but didn't because you were out busy gaining your own life experience. I'm not talking about not going out to dinner with the family because you're too busy playing warzone either but when you grow older in life and have your own path like your own apartment or house, living in a totally different state in an unknown city. This is the fatal flaw in humans we recognize at the time what's right (usually) and when we are remorseful say over a death we can't stop thinking about those times, when really we should be thinking about the learning experiences, laughter and love we always got. Life be crazy af, that's why I try to take it one step at a time and even then I have a hard enough time. I remember going to the casino back in the day for the first time with friends and one buddy losing like $500 and hitting the ATM to get more out to chase his losses, im like why? hes like I have to get my money back! I'm like the casino is open 24/7 365, it's going to be here tomorrow too. I'm rambling but I've just always been like it's a long ride man, you're not a rock star, at the end of the day you'll end up in a suburban home with 2 kids a wife and a dog just like everyone else. so slow down lol.
