I’m still confident in this Falcons team. Defense looked good, and the offense gotta shake off the rust. Steelers defense is also no joke.
I can't say I'm confident, but I think Zac Robinson should be able to call a better offensive than this

He is super chill. But it don’t feel like he’s trying to take the blame. And it was clearly on him. He’s making everybody apart of the blame. When I watched the game. The team played hard. And he was just throwing passes up. And I really believe that he’s a good QB. I’m just confused to why he was just throwing terrible passes like a rookie
@jollysteffen don't dislike him but as a vikings fan I can say I'm glad he's not on my team anymore. Not trying to hate on him but he was pretty frustrating in big moments.
Ya, he seems like a very good dude. Loved these two recent Rich interviews.
I love Kirk. He has done all of the right things, has never complained and he wins games. He gets criticized (and rightfully so) for his bad games in the spotlight but other than that, he’s a great QB.

@@Fresh59 Well, his ex-teammates, other players, coaches think he's great. They would have a far better idea of that than your uneducated opinion.
This guy is a mature professional. Owns his mistakes. Doesn't duck questions or talk around answers. Builds up his teammates. They have a tough road the next two games and the loss to Pittsburgh is disappointing, but I'm glad Kirk is in the building.

This whole interview was set up by Kirks agent Mike McCartney. For years up in MN Kirk routinely ducked and refused interviews and press conferences after a loss, unless it was set up by his agent. This is clearly an attempt to win back some of the fans. For the record, Cousins was not at the regular Falcons press conference today. But instead it was Michael Penix.
The point is to prep cousins wit an ESPN job after he retires this year. 🥱

You do realize he's on a brand new team and hasn't played in a year, right?? Plus the Steelers' pass rush is legit. Watt has led the league in sacks the last 4 of 5 years.

Kirk is an exceptional player and individual. We are truly fortunate to have such exemplary men as role models in this league.
I love Kirk...I am hoping he figures it out this year. Between Kirk, Bijan and my favorite kicker in Younghoe Koo...some of the best players and decent human beings. (also have a lot of Atl players in fantasy...so I might be a tab biased here)

@@johnswanson3741 Riiiight. This is his first injury in 12 seasons. He knows how to take care of his body especially when he does everything that Brady and Brees did with the intent of playing a long time like they did.

You know I love Kirk, he’s a pretty cool dude but the only difference between him and Dak Prescott is the star on Daks helmet. Dak gets way more flak. However I think dak is better. 🤷♂️
Kirk gets far more criticism especially since he was a later draft pick and was a back-up his first three years. The problem with Prescott was that he was on loaded team and still couldn't do anything with it. Meanwhile Kirk has had bad defenses for most of his career and bottom of the league pass protection. Kirk is also more accurate and a more consistent player. In fact, if Kirk would have had even half of Dallas' defense or o-line, the Vikings would have won the Super Bowl or a lot of playoff wins.
The Viking have had good teams, and always had good wr core. You are not way off on everything you have said but you can say that about a lot of QB’s in the nfl lately. I mean there are a lot of underachievers right now considering patty mahomes is winning all these chips. Hell! Lamar is a two time mvp and can’t get over the hump, neither can Josh Allen and they are on better teams.
Can we get a better game out of Kirk on Monday night football where the lights are the brightest. The Falcons need to come into this game with alot of effort. I want to see how Raheem Morris and the Falcons handle adversity . Coach Ra's honey moon is over.

3rd year in a row that Kirk will be in Philly Monday night, 3rd loss for him again. Fly Eagles Fly
Kirk played lights out that game. Only wins and losses count but the Vikings nearly beat the Eagles.
The Vikings were down 27-7 with 10 minutes left in the third quarter. That is hardly an unwinnable game as Kirk has brought his team back to win the game from a big deficit AT LEAST three times before that. The Vikings showed in 2022 that no lead is safe. With one minute left in the game, the score was 34-28. The Vikings were punting the ball and had an onside kick at the 50 yard line. Had the Vikings recovered the ball, there would have been enough time (one minute) to score a TD. Even if the field goal was missed, it would have gone into overtime.
@@Paula-mv8im a WHOLE lot of what could have been there which means NOTHING AT ALL. Kirk is never the answer for true success.
