TheIceman1564 Unless I'm mistaken, the Pro Mods are subject to the same safety rules as alcohol classes and nitro classes. If it blows up or triggers it automatically deploys.the chutes.
It auto deploys under any circumstances, in case the driver passes out. Chief said his chute deployed after getting out of it before the 1/8th mile running NHRA Pro Mod in Indy, and he had no failures.
Great camera and editing work. Saw PM's at Norwalk, Indy, Gateway last year- Crazy Works Of Art. Headin out to RT66 next week! Wish PM's were there. Have Fun!
I miss the IHRA meets when we had Pro Mods. I didn't go to a single meet this year, mostly because of my work schedule, but partly because I'm sick of the Prima Donnas in the Pro classes.
I guess I get it but honestly the pros are pros and they know it..there is a cockiness that comes with that. But still they are the most easily accessible pro athletes in ALL of sports..let alone motorsports.
robzneed4speed AAHHH MAN!! Its just been a tough year to catch a race hasn't it? Well hopefully you'll get some footage at Indy this year if you go. You're missing out on an exciting year for Pro Modified man.
Tell me about it, it's been a very tough year. 0-6 to start the year. My company just started giving us holiday's off...with a catch, make up day the next weekend, so missing another paid gig this weekend coming up as well. My plan is Indy, Keystones and if things go well Vegas for Nationals.
robzneed4speed ah man. Vegas will be great. Please catch the Pro Mods out in Vegas, I don't think you have any Vegas footage of Pro Modified. Hopefully it all works out for you brother man.

Ik this is three years old but its a auto safety thing so in the event of a accident the drive has some attempt at slowing down
