- Alexia Grant, aka Chef Lex, was one of 10 chefs invited to cook for players inside the NBA bubble. From her kitchen at Disney World, she launched the pop-up restaurant Comfort Kitchen, specializing in Caribbean and Southern comfort food. Since, she's cooked for players from every team in the bubble, including the Miami Heat, the LA Lakers, and the Denver Nuggets. But cooking under strict quarantine isn't easy. She can't leave the bubble to do her own shopping and has to rely on runners to deliver her food to the players in the inner bubble.

I once worked in catering, and we had an event for one night feeding around 1k customers for a three course meal. It took about 25 staff including myself to prep, cook and deliver the food to the location, and it was exhausting. I can only imagine the resilience and dedication of Chef Lex and Chef Joy to do this with only two pairs of hands. Truly an inspiration and this video doesn't fully capture the mental and physical demand for what they have to do. These two got my upmost respect.

Good sized portions, high quality food. Looks good to me. Those salads especially looked awesome. When you are cooped up inside for long periods of time, food becomes an event. Something you look forward to. She did a great job by the looks of it. Hope they both got paid well!

This falsely assumes only one camera operator was involved in the production. This isn't journalism, it's a PR packet meant to get you interested in the NBA and feel like they're taking CoVID-19 seriously.
The NBA in conjuction with Disney use their own media communications (marketing) department camera operators to film inside the different zones.
There are operators in each of the zones because operators filming games have to be housed under the same quarantine zone as players and referees otherwise a transmission pathway is formed.
So the camera operator is changing throughout these shots. The shots are then sent to BI who do some minor editing and narration.
They need couple people to help them packaging the food n other stuff. It's insane how this two run this big kitchen all by themselves

Y’all trippin the price are what they should be, for one she gotta do over a hundred order within a time frame. Not only is she cooking for the team she’s cooking for the staff who order to. Then she not allowed to leave so she’s ordering ingredients outside which cost more to deliver. Wow respect bro, I'm a chef and at one point me and 2 other chefs were doing 400 meals a day for the homeless and vulnerable, we had transit vans full.
It was killing us, as all charity work goes funding ran out and we stopped and businesses is back to normal 50 meals a day lol
