I fell in love with Montana after reading Charles M Russell's (cowboy artist) biography. His painting and sketches depicts the raw and enchanting nature. His Waiting for Chinook sketch on postcard is poignant. I like your work, what is more you are enjoying it thoroughly.

I have a fascination with all things west. Maybe its the Yellowstone series or just seeing it all up close in person in Montana. Seems to be the last of what's real left in America! A wonderful way to close the year and begin my last 2023 morning. Another JE Montana Adventure! Don't know what it will take to ever get you down into New Mexico for a visit. Mountains, rivers, rocks and every kind of weather there too! Oh, and some desert scenery. May I suggest putting a BLM app on your phone to help guide you into some of the unknown areas you are fond of exploring. Montana, the fourth largest state in area (just ahead of New Mexico) so you have unlimited potential always waiting. I understand the allure. Once again, thanks for taking everyone along as you blaze new photographic (or Photographist, as I recently read) trails. Always fun!

I’m sure I would enjoy a trip to Big Sky Country, and hopefully avoid the no trespassing areas. Nice vlog John. I’m wondering about your edits and how you deal with colors.
Hi TC you’ll have to explain your reference to colors but I can tell you that the thing I fight with the most is color! Always a challenge! Get back to me on that and have a happy new year!
