You can’t live a long life packing heat and hanging with gangs. That gang life killed them both. Wasn’t mature enough yet to get away. If they made it to 30 plus I bet they would have wised up
You can really tell that Biggie wanted to end this beef, especially after it became bigger than him and 'Pac. Two visionaires that died too early. I discovered their music pretty late, but I'm so glad that I did. I listen to both new rap (which a lot of oldschool fans hate) and oldschool stuff, but the oldschool stuff just has a different vibe which I don't know if it will be replicated ever again. R.I.P. to Tupac, Biggie, DJ Screw, Eazy-E and anyone else who left their mark on the genre that took the world by storm.
It seems even worse now...Look how many rappers have been killed recently. XXXtentacion, King Von, Pop Smoke, Nipsey Hustle...There was a period in the late 90s to late 2000s where there weren’t as many deaths, but things have gone back to being bad.

Tupac was killed by Orlando “baby lane” Anderson after Tupac and his crew stomped him at the MGM Grand Hotel for previously robbing one of their crew members. Suge Knight’s ex, who was pressured with serious jail time from the FBI, revealed that Biggie was killed by Wardell "Poochie" Fouse, a Mob Piru gang member and an associate of Knight. Orlando was killed in a shootout in LA and Poochie died on July 24, 2003, after being shot in the back while riding his motorcycle. You reap what you sew! Both of the murderers of these legends also died by guns. If you live by the sword, you’ll die by the sword.
Was a tragedy for this brilliant artist to lose his life so early! He was a musical architect and invented his own brand of hip-hop. One of the greatest to ever do it! Biggie never really got to reap the fruit of his hard work and art. He never got to truly enjoy the benefits of fame, money and power and the impact his music had on culture. Though we still feel the ripples of his life, music and legacy today, it’s heart breaking that he never got to live it and see it. One love B.I.G.
That "Life after Death" was so real because Biggie pasted away before the album came out. I remember i was in the hospital waiting for my oldest daughter to be born. When Biggie left us March 9th and my daughter was born 12:04 am March 10th. That was the first time I seen life leave and come into the world on that level. I said a prayer for Biggie and his family that night. Rest easy Biggie and 2Pac.
I remember watching the notorious movie with my mom when it came out and I thought biggie was so old, I’m now 26 and showed my 25 year old girlfriend the movie and some clips and stuff of biggie the other night and I completely forgot he was only 24 and it blows my mind how young he was!
It really puts into perspective how young Pac and Biggie were when they died, I'm years older now than they were when they passed and I blasted their music in my teen years.
Wish everyday we can get these two back biggie and 2pac dammit now look what we stuck with now in days i love watching videos back in the day no phones no social media none of that shit
Tupacs biggest problem was ego and too much cocaine. The guy was so paranoid. Genius but paranoid. Biggie was always more humble than Pac. I think unlike 2pac, biggie just wanted to make lots of music and money whereas pac just took it to a whole new level of madness
Was born in 97. I wish I was a decade earlier so I could've witnessed more of this Era. The 90s were truly the perfect time for me. It's always so neat how you can instantly distinguish the 90s, 80s, etc from each other.
It's better to have a loyal enemy who respects you and wishes no death on you. R.I.P. Biggie John 13:34 says, "A new command I give you: Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another."

it's like the heavens don't want perfection to exist in this world for long. two of the absolute best rappers in the business by a country mile. don't care about the other heavy hitters out there, these two were something else.
Here in South Africa a musician called Simphiwe Dana said in some interview, on the day they heard of Tupac is dead they were at school and the classes was suspended for that day coz they couldn't COPE they all cried.
Can you imagine how relatable and powerful Tupac's music must have been for black folks around the world ... I'm white, middle class, and Tupac educated me about racism and the struggle blacks go through, more than a decade after his death. That man's a legend, for real.

I think deep down, realistically both pac and biggie knew their time was coming. So sad, both paved the way for so many artists of today!
True, their songs on death literally portrays their death. Listen to "Hold ya Head" by BIG and see how close it is to reality.
@@User-du7kf that's just a remix of suicidal thoughts, which is way better imo

I love biggie but give more respect to my mentor prophet 2pac

Its really crazy how rappers back then had to face death everyday..
That’s why rap back then is better than the 2010s-current cause they had to face a bunch of obstacles to survive & succeed
It seems even worse now...Look how many rappers have been killed recently. XXXtentacion, King Von, Pop Smoke, Nipsey Hustle...There was a period in the late 90s to late 2000s where there weren’t as many deaths, but things have gone back to being bad.

He is frozen just before his peak. He would be like eminem or snoop if alive today

I remember watching the notorious movie with my mom when it came out and I thought biggie was so old, I’m now 26 and showed my 25 year old girlfriend the movie and some clips and stuff of biggie the other night and I completely forgot he was only 24 and it blows my mind how young he was!

it's like the heavens don't want perfection to exist in this world for long. two of the absolute best rappers in the business by a country mile. don't care about the other heavy hitters out there, these two were something else.
Here in South Africa a musician called Simphiwe Dana said in some interview, on the day they heard of Tupac is dead they were at school and the classes was suspended for that day coz they couldn't COPE they all cried.
