I was born in 65. Love Jim Croce. Thanks for keeping him "alive" by having "new" videos pop into my notifications... Such a timeless talent. May he be around for my grandchildren. Both him and Maury.
I love Jim’s music. He is missed.😢 My mother especially loved his music. We both listen even today. Thank you for coming to N. LA. Jim. We will never forget you! Thank you for your incredible music! Your albums are timeless. We can listen to them for 50 years and they still will be as relevant as they are today as the 50’s. I hope your family knows, there’s a lot of love coming your way! Mucho love! ❤ Sending love and blessings to his family.😊❤
Jim handled himself so well on camera. Totally poised, unpretentious and willing to let you in on the joke. The word is authentic. This footage from the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test series is as pristine a quality as you can get with Jim; as good as The Midnight Special in the US.
I had forgotten this song until I saw the video today. Jim was amazing when I first heard him sing over 50 years ago, and his music is just as amazing today. I have to remember to get each of my grandkids his Greatest Hits for Christmas...
Rufus sang this too. He should have said I’m a 10 man guy, lol. All in fun…I LOVE Rufus Wainwright! Check out his “Across the Universe” remake. Beautiful voice. Even his “He ain’t Heavy, he’s my Brother” is also incredible.
My late husband was part of an a capella singing group and they did this song- I had no idea it was Jim Croces song!!! I enjoyed hearing Jim sing it.
Songs that stand the test of time not the crap of today!

This is one of my favorite songs! It's hard to believe that in September they will have been gone for 50 years!
RIP Jim and Maury! ❤🙏❤️
I was a jim Croce fanatic but it ended way too soon, 9-20-73. I believe😢

Croce looks almost identical to my father who passed when I was 9. When I watch him it feels like I’m watching my dad
Loved me some Jim Croce music . I think he and Carol King were the only artists whose music I loved the minute I heard it.

No never saw him live . Be a nice memory if you have . Pretty long time ago.. His imagery is probably engrained in country music .
Thank you.

I Always Loved This Song
One of my favorites Thanks Jim!
So sad we lost him and his bandmate so early. Age 30 and 24 respectively. I would have loved to see what he could have written later in life
