Don't have to worry about strategy or plot, just zone out and do some cool fights.

If you know all of Gothic 1 & 2 by heart, I highly recommend Chronicles of Myrtana! I have similar experience with Gothic and this mod made me feel like kid again ;)
Just out of curiosity, as someone who hasn't even completed one unmodded playthough of Skyrim (a couple of modded though). How much do you mod the game, do you do a lot of different mods for fresh experiences, do you have a set of mods you always use. Do you think the game is better without mods? And so on. Just curious about what someone who really plays a lot of Skyrim thinks about mods. Because the few people I know that plays that game (I have very few gamer friends) use the game more as a mod sandbox. They hardly play the game except to play around with mods (of all types, if you know what I mean....)
There are so many games I love but Skyrim is the ONLY game I can come back to, after already having put 3,000 hours in, and start a new playthrough and feel insanely addicted/excited/invested as if the game were new again. Yea mods help a lot, but no other game does this for me.
@@Minderz Skyrim is a good game by itself, but mods are the key to longevity. I don't think you need that many mods either, the main ones that keep up longevity are combat/skill trees (like Ordinator, Wildcat, or Requiem, etc.) to freshen up gameplay, and new lands/quest mods (Wyrmstooth, Saints and Seducers Extended, Bruma, etc.) Sure graphics mods are nice, but don't add much to replayability, just the immersion. Even 1 single mod by itself, Ordinator, is enough to add hundreds of hours just by the sheer number of different character builds you can make with all those skill trees.
You said it so eloquently about Skyrim contrarians. It's such a great game. There's a reason it has billions of mod downloads, sometimes even gets MILLIONS in a single day (just a month ago, Skyrim had over 20 million mod downloads on one Saturday), and still has tens of thousands of players at any given time. I don't even think Elden Ring or BG3 come close to that level of success, the only other game that surpasses this is Minecraft.
I've always seen Skyrim in the way I do the film Casablanca. It's not really doing anything particularly new or groundbreaking, yet it all works in a massive 'whole' and it's hard to resist. It's all-timer stuff and no amount of backlash can even put a dent on that.
Same here. My main had about 430 days played when I stopped mid Shadowlands. I remember a warlock on my server, who had about 200 days in vanilla already.
I am literally salivating in anticipation of the Avowed early access you must be working on. I think the embargo lifts when my pre-order cranks up so I'll be watching between playing most likely!
WOW, I Knew there was a reason I loved your Channel! You Have put The massive hours into All the same games! I played FFT instead of Tactics Ogre, and can add Morrowind to the list. But you have definitely got Way more games under your belt and I always Differ to your channel to see if there is anything I would be Interested in playing. 👍
Skyrim was the reason I bought a Switch myself. I'd put in a decent 150 hours on Xbox 360 years ago with the base game. The fact that the Switch version came with all the original DLC included was a major draw, and the Anniversary Edition DLC has only added to what is already an astounding amount of content and roleplaying possibilities. Skyrim is indeed a great game, one I'm still playing and nowhere near finished with to this day. 350 hours and counting. My most-played game is definitely Hearthstone. I have no idea about playtime, Blizzard doesn't let you see that, but after almost ten years it's most certainly several hundred hours at least. I've been a Warcraft fan ever since Reign of Chaos and though I never got into WoW (probably a good thing), Hearthstone remains that internet meme game for me. They just added StarCraft cards! Great video anyway, stuff like this is the reason I follow your channel.
Just popping to say that apart from Team Fortress 2 on steam, where I have over 1500 hours played during my high school and college years, I would reckon now Hearthstone has surpassed that! I've been playing since closed beta and still find time for a few rounds a day, which as a new dad is sometimes all I get! Anyway glad to see another Hearthstone fan 😁

I concur with the football manager. I played championship manager religiously between 95 and 2003. Subsequently, after that football manager. I have no idea about hours but must be in the 1000s and by far by most played games.
Hi Mortim! Thank you for your hours and hours of entertainment and great videos - your channel is actually somewhat of an inspiration to my own channel, but sadly I do not have your stamina for 100% or playing games in the hardest (or, as you put it so eloquently in one of your videos: Difficulty = time sink more than actually making the games "hard"). With the exception of JRPG/KRPGs, we do share a LOT of games in common - WOTR being the primary suspect (and of course RT, BG3, TES etc). However - all that aside. I've only completed WOTR on the Angel path - and I really want to complete more of the paths. Now, the Pathfinder system, and also all the classes/subclasses in WOTR, are just mind-bending - even to an old-timer AD&D2nd and forwards Tabletop RPGer like myself. I've been using cRPG Bro's guides to just get decent classes, as the Neoseeker ones by InEffect are just way too complex, and usually also are made through such heavy theorycrafting that the builds aren't really playable unless you are EXCEPTIONALLY good until you're level 15+. So with that wall of text out of the way... Do you by any chance have a collection of good WOTR builds, updated for the last patches, possibly text based rather than video based, that you could share with us viewers? Video based is fine too of course (especially considering monetisation - I'd watch them all even if you provided them as text just to support you)? cRPG Bro's builds are great - but I'm reticent about doing the same builds over and over, and I would like to see more of the various classes in actions rather than the bread'n'butter builds he provides, no matter how good they are. I understand if you do not have the time to provide something like this, but if you do, it would be deeply appreciated! Thanks again, and please keep up your great work, calm voice etc (You are an excellent narrator, and except for the slightly .. ahem .. noisy outro music you have that can occasionally jolt me awake for a few seconds, I often have your videos on in the background when I fall asleep. @kostasspirou101 It reminds me if a show like Better Call Saul or Breaking Bad was a game. I definitely don't think it's fast paced but the slowness is due to character development and making you feel like you're a real person in this world. The reason Arthur is my favorite videogame character ever is that they take the time to really develop him and show different facets of his personality. It's not just gun fights, you are living as this guy in 1899. Just an astounding game.
SMTV Vengence is probably one of my most played games. Mainly because I wanted to see everything so I ended up pumping hundreds of hours replaying the campaign.

I'd argue that an MMO or any competitive online game wouldn't count in this context. Of course you're going to spend thousands of hours in it, that's the point. For example, I accrued something around 15k hours in league of legends over the course of my twenties, but I' wouldn't include it in my own top most played. That honor would go to BG3 with 1,206.6 hours.
Curious to hear how you got that many hour in Cyberpunk. It's a great game, but I can't see myself playing through it more than twice, and certainly wouldn't be going for 100% on a second playthrough. What keeps bringing you back?
@@fernieferniehaus 500 hours is nothing. I have almost 1500 hours, I have more than 2 dozen completed playthroughs. With every major update, I would do 3 playthroughs, one netrunner, one guns, one melee. Sometimes I tried more options if a particular update really improved something and I spent hundreds of hours playing missions over and over to find different ways to complete them.
Your review for Witcher 3 recently, made me played it again and it instantly made it as one of my longest single player game and I'm still not finished.
I saw the title and immediately guessed 3 of your top 4. Nothing that surprised me in my own stats: 1 - Baldur's Gate 3 2 - Elden Ring 3 - Total War: Warhammer 2 4 - Stellaris 5 - Stardew Valley I wish there was a way to check stats from older stuff - I must have over a thousand hours in BG1 and 2, getting both at launch on CD and then getting into challenge and speedrunning them both as a kid. Did similar with Fallout 1 and 2, too. Getting into Ultima Online and Everquest at launch and playing them for quite a few expansions had to similarly rack up some crazy hours. Man, being a teenager with some moderate disposable income and a lot of disposable time late 90's early 2000s was pretty great for top tier cRPGs.
Wow - and I thought I lived in games. Steam says 544 in FO:NV, but that's actually the TTW mod. 377 hrs into FO4, still have Silver Shroud and Far Harbor (at the minimum) to go. Surprised I only put 340 into The Witcher III. One of these days, I will let Skyrim take over my life, as well as RDR2 and BG3 - too many freakin' games! Thanks Mortym!

I've discovered you through Pathfinder yeah, still loved discovering some build idea with you and then starting a new run with one of them. Currently, my tops games would be : - Rainbow 6 Siege - 1200h - Tabletop Simulator - 800h (I do play warhammer) - Pathfinder WotR - 435h (and at least half thanks to you) - Total War Wrahammer 2 - 380h (total for all three is 1100) - Terraria - 240h :)

i must admit, i enjoy playing fallout 76 while watching youtube videos. i spent several hundreds of hours watching (in my 2nd monitor) real crime videos, tech videos and your videos while playing fallout 76. So basically i have spent thousands of hours there. Maybe i'll hit the achievement of 7600 hours in fallout 76 in a couple of years. And dozens of those hours have been enjoyed watching your videos, it was pathfinder wrath of the righteous when i discovered this wonderful channel.
I have a bad habit of falling in love with a game and then playing it until the wheels come off lol. When I was younger I got into competitive FPS games and really got into Medal of Honor Allied Assault. Probably put in over 2000 hours into that (no real way to know as tracking game time wasn't a thing really in 2002 lol). Played Star Wars the Old Republic off and on for years and put in close to 2000 hours into it. I have nearly a 1000 hours into Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3, and Witcher 3. I have over 500 in every Mass Effect game (a lil less in Andromeda), and over a 1000 hours as a whole for the Dragon Age series. So yeah, when I get hooked, I get hooked! lol
Skyrim continues to be my favorite game of all time. My wife started her first playthrough a while back and shes still discovering things and having a blast. Its my warm cup of coffee game. My cozy game

FFX- Probably 300-400 hours across multiple playthroughs in the last two decades.

Not shocked by the wotr number. Finally bit the bullet and I'm like 180 hours in and still haven't moved into Iz... Tempted to start another run after I finish this run purely because of the different Mythic paths and the secret ending I keep seeing alluded to.

Absolutely Skyrim would have been my longest hours played, have returned to Skyrim multiple times over many years. Fallout 4 would by next longest. Witcher 3 yes ... but I never found a reason to play through it more than once.
The game I played the most, according to steam, is Marvel Heroes Omega, an online Diablo-like in the Marvel Universe, and I played over a thousand hours on Steam alone, and also many more before it was on Steam. I am STILL bitter about how it was shut down. It was a great game.... Most of the Time.
My top 3 games on steam are destiny 2, back 4 blood and midnight suns. That’s gonna boggle some people’s minds I’m sure but those games are replayable as hell.
Frankly, given the type of games your channel is generally focused onto (CRPG’s), I did not expect you to have played and enjoyed couple of my favourite games of all time ( RDR2 & TW3). I always wondered if the type of games you like would match my taste. But given that we have common interest, I’m more excited now to try out CRPG games. I wanna start with DOS 1&2 and BG3. Then jump into Pathfinder.
Man, I recently downloaded RDR2 again for the first time since 2021 (it used to be my all-time favorite), and I glanced at the hours played before I started another new game, and it was over 1,200. It was kind of hard to believe
Mine's Elden Ring, 2k hours. Which is weird because I didn't enjoy my first playthrough. I thought it was bloated and they were rehashing ideas from Dark Souls. But something kept bringing me back, mechanically it's their best game and build diversity is limitless. And the PVP is fun as long as you don't take it too seriously.
My most played games are Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 as I've had them from their first release and have consistently played them since and then I have games like Fallout 4, Skyrim, The Witcher 3 and Dragon's Dogma that I have on both PC and console where it's hard to judge the total time played.
My top 5, disregarding online games I've played as hang-out games with friends. 1. Total War: Warhammer 2 - 1,753 hours 2. Football Manager 2012 - 1,305 hours 3. Football Manager 2010 - 1,054 hours 4. Football Manager 2013 - 867 hours 5. Eastside Hockey Manager - 698 hours It's almost like there's a pattern emerging here. Disregarding manager games, the others in top 5 would be Dominions 5, Dominions 4, Battle Brothers and Total War: Warhammer.
Just wanna throw in that I have 1682.9 hours in Warframe and 2551.9 hours in Black Desert Online. I am one of those that wouldn't really recommend either of them. So I am the meme.
I'm a pretty hardcore gamer (already logged 80 hours in rebirth and only owned it for 2 weeks), but I only have two steam games over total 170 hours. MGS5: PP (230 hrs), and Terraria (270 hrs). The main reason is just I never re-play games, infact because I try to clear everything in one playthrough im usually sick of the game before I even finish it the first time.
DOS 2 is one of my absolute Favorite games I got over 400 hrs in it, , others i have 300+ hours in are No Mans Sky, Mass Effect trilogy. Fallout NV and Pillars of Eternity 2, and i just know those numbers are going to go up.
I got the Switch for Skyrim so I can play it when I travel, but I also have it on the 360 and Steam. Every play thru I tell myself I'll doing something other than a stealth archer. Every time I lie to myself.

I'm playing Fallout 4 again now, it's definitely in my 1000+ hour club, as are Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Others in this club are Elden Ring, Monster Hunter World/Iceborne and Rise/Sunbreak, Final Fantasy 12, Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion (but not Skyrim, put in several hundred but not 1k), The Last Remnant OG Xbox version and Assassins Creed Odyssey,
I’ve got 1,930ish hours on Rdr2 I’ve played through many times, I think 7? A good chunk of that time was 100%ing the single player, can’t be asked to do the multiplayer stuff. The most time consuming was definitely the gambler challenges I’m looking at you dominos, and those dang robins specifically a three star one for the hunting request. It wasn’t until I found the legendary bridge in northern New Hanover that birds perch on that I found one. The flowers and plants are time consuming sure, but it isn’t luck based and if you bring out a online map for them, it’s pretty easy to sit down and hammer them out in one go.
Since Skyrim is your #1 could you review enderal: forgotten stories? It's a total conversion mod for Skyrim, but I personally consider it a masterpiece. It has steam achievements too, so you can even 100% it!

I have no idea how many hours of Diablo 3 I have played ( Blizzard reports time on your current character, but they don't track deleted characters, and there are limited slots ) I think I played about 1000 hours of Marvel Heroes, which was a live service ARPG that was shutdown in 2017. I suspect I am fairly close to 1000 hours on the Marvel Ultimate Alliance too, with most of that on PSP. I was travelling a ton for work, and used to play a bunch, it has good online coop and solid voice comms built in and that was 20 years ago. My guess is that #4 is probably Raft at 500 or so, but wife loves playing that game together, planet crafter has become our favorite coop game lately, and I am probably over 300 hours on that now. The Long Dark is probably my top single player only game at nearly 200 hours.
Over my whole life, number one would be Tetris, if I added up all the versions, from Apple iic to Xbox currently. Modern times, I have over 400 hours on my main save in no man's sky.
Watching this video I wonder up to what point this has become just a job to Mort, with deadlines and debts to pay, and the responsibility that every day he doesn’t publish content it’s money his family isn’t getting. No video from this channel has ever make me think this; Mort always gets across as this guy with awesome vibes but I have to wonder whether making 100% of everything in record time to go to the next and the next and the next, just makes it all work and not as much pleasure as we usually get from diving fully and passionately into a game with calm and patience, and time to breath in the game. I have 800 hours in Elden Ring (could have been 1000 easily, this is the only game i force myself to not play just to experience other games), 600 in Baldur's Gate 3 (proud player since the early access), 310 in Dragon Age Inquisition, 220 in Cyberpunk and 163 in DOS2.
Top 5, excluding MMOs, and a I don't have on Steam such as e.g. DA2. DA3, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 and 4 (some of which were not available at Steam at the time, and I suspect MA1 and 2 would be in this list otherwise), are: 1) Dragon Age: Origins; 2) Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous; 3) Pathfinder: Kingmaker; 4) BG3; 5) Skyrim.
My first playthrough of Pathfinder: WotR on Normal is over 400 hours and I started chapter 6 just yesterday. I only started to become okay at the game after 200 hours. 😢 just okay.I even watched Mort’s guides 5 times to understand, idk I feel incredibly stupid. playing Pillars of Eternity really helped me to understand other crpg’s better So, Pathfinder is my most played game not counting Fallout ,Elder Scrolls, Quake and GTA games like when I was 10 years old
I'm sure I have as many hours or more in Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for GBA that you have with the PC one. Pathfinder: WotR is one of my most played games on Steam (5th or 6th) and I have around 450 hours. The other 5 in my top 6, from least to most, are Slay the Spire, Civ 5, Civ 6 at 600 hours, Last Epoch, and Stranded: Alien Dawn at around 950. By far my 3 most played games of the past 15 years or so (maybe ever) would be Path of Exile 1, Hearthstone, and League of Legends with well over 2500 hours each, but I don't play on Steam.

My biggest recorded on Steam are Strategy games : civ 5, medieval total war 2, age of wonders 3, all over 500 hours. But I'm pretty sure BG2 with mods must be even more, plus all other old Bioware titles and Neverwinter nights 2 must be in the ballpark too
The simplicity of just wandering around in RDR2 and Skyrim is sometimes exactly what you need after a long day.
I do that with Cyberpunk: just hopping on a bike, listening to music & driving through the city, at night, with rain pouring down. It's so soothing.
I do that on project zomboid when your putting foot to pavement just start playing fallout music from your phone and it'll be just like fallout 1 &2

Even 1 single mod by itself, Ordinator, is enough to add hundreds of hours just by the sheer number of different character builds you can make with all those skill trees.
You said it so eloquently about Skyrim contrarians. It's such a great game. There's a reason it has billions of mod downloads, sometimes even gets MILLIONS in a single day (just a month ago, Skyrim had over 20 million mod downloads on one Saturday), and still has tens of thousands of players at any given time. I don't even think Elden Ring or BG3 come close to that level of success, the only other game that surpasses this is Minecraft.
I've always seen Skyrim in the way I do the film Casablanca. It's not really doing anything particularly new or groundbreaking, yet it all works in a massive 'whole' and it's hard to resist. It's all-timer stuff and no amount of backlash can even put a dent on that.
The 5 Hour WOTR video was amazing! Since, I most likely will never finish it once, it was nice to see all the story paths.
I am 100% retired from World of Warcraft now thank god, but I had precisely 9,240 hours on it which is equivalent to 385 days...

Skyrim was the reason I bought a Switch myself. I'd put in a decent 150 hours on Xbox 360 years ago with the base game. The fact that the Switch version came with all the original DLC included was a major draw, and the Anniversary Edition DLC has only added to what is already an astounding amount of content and roleplaying possibilities. Skyrim is indeed a great game, one I'm still playing and nowhere near finished with to this day. 350 hours and counting.
My most-played game is definitely Hearthstone. I have no idea about playtime, Blizzard doesn't let you see that, but after almost ten years it's most certainly several hundred hours at least. I've been a Warcraft fan ever since Reign of Chaos and though I never got into WoW (probably a good thing), Hearthstone remains that internet meme game for me. They just added StarCraft cards!

Thank you for your hours and hours of entertainment and great videos - your channel is actually somewhat of an inspiration to my own channel, but sadly I do not have your stamina for 100% or playing games in the hardest (or, as you put it so eloquently in one of your videos: Difficulty = time sink more than actually making the games "hard").
With the exception of JRPG/KRPGs, we do share a LOT of games in common - WOTR being the primary suspect (and of course RT, BG3, TES etc).
However - all that aside. I've only completed WOTR on the Angel path - and I really want to complete more of the paths. Now, the Pathfinder system, and also all the classes/subclasses in WOTR, are just mind-bending - even to an old-timer AD&D2nd and forwards Tabletop RPGer like myself. I've been using cRPG Bro's guides to just get decent classes, as the Neoseeker ones by InEffect are just way too complex, and usually also are made through such heavy theorycrafting that the builds aren't really playable unless you are EXCEPTIONALLY good until you're level 15+.
So with that wall of text out of the way... Do you by any chance have a collection of good WOTR builds, updated for the last patches, possibly text based rather than video based, that you could share with us viewers? Video based is fine too of course (especially considering monetisation - I'd watch them all even if you provided them as text just to support you)? cRPG Bro's builds are great - but I'm reticent about doing the same builds over and over, and I would like to see more of the various classes in actions rather than the bread'n'butter builds he provides, no matter how good they are.
I understand if you do not have the time to provide something like this, but if you do, it would be deeply appreciated!

I definitely don't think it's fast paced but the slowness is due to character development and making you feel like you're a real person in this world. The reason Arthur is my favorite videogame character ever is that they take the time to really develop him and show different facets of his personality. It's not just gun fights, you are living as this guy in 1899. Just an astounding game.

I'd argue that an MMO or any competitive online game wouldn't count in this context. Of course you're going to spend thousands of hours in it, that's the point. For example, I accrued something around 15k hours in league of legends over the course of my twenties, but I' wouldn't include it in my own top most played. That honor would go to BG3 with 1,206.6 hours.
Curious to hear how you got that many hour in Cyberpunk. It's a great game, but I can't see myself playing through it more than twice, and certainly wouldn't be going for 100% on a second playthrough. What keeps bringing you back?

@@fernieferniehaus 500 hours is nothing. I have almost 1500 hours, I have more than 2 dozen completed playthroughs. With every major update, I would do 3 playthroughs, one netrunner, one guns, one melee. Sometimes I tried more options if a particular update really improved something and I spent hundreds of hours playing missions over and over to find different ways to complete them.
Your review for Witcher 3 recently, made me played it again and it instantly made it as one of my longest single player game and I'm still not finished.
The way I collect hours on my games is by opening a game, starting playing, then pausing to go make lunch. Etc.

I wish there was a way to check stats from older stuff - I must have over a thousand hours in BG1 and 2, getting both at launch on CD and then getting into challenge and speedrunning them both as a kid. Did similar with Fallout 1 and 2, too. Getting into Ultima Online and Everquest at launch and playing them for quite a few expansions had to similarly rack up some crazy hours. Man, being a teenager with some moderate disposable income and a lot of disposable time late 90's early 2000s was pretty great for top tier cRPGs.
Wow - and I thought I lived in games. Steam says 544 in FO:NV, but that's actually the TTW mod. 377 hrs into FO4, still have Silver Shroud and Far Harbor (at the minimum) to go. Surprised I only put 340 into The Witcher III. One of these days, I will let Skyrim take over my life, as well as RDR2 and BG3 - too many freakin' games! Thanks Mortym!

i must admit, i enjoy playing fallout 76 while watching youtube videos. i spent several hundreds of hours watching (in my 2nd monitor) real crime videos, tech videos and your videos while playing fallout 76. So basically i have spent thousands of hours there. Maybe i'll hit the achievement of 7600 hours in fallout 76 in a couple of years.
And dozens of those hours have been enjoyed watching your videos, it was pathfinder wrath of the righteous when i discovered this wonderful channel.

When I was younger I got into competitive FPS games and really got into Medal of Honor Allied Assault. Probably put in over 2000 hours into that (no real way to know as tracking game time wasn't a thing really in 2002 lol). Played Star Wars the Old Republic off and on for years and put in close to 2000 hours into it. I have nearly a 1000 hours into Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3, and Witcher 3. I have over 500 in every Mass Effect game (a lil less in Andromeda), and over a 1000 hours as a whole for the Dragon Age series. So yeah, when I get hooked, I get hooked! lol

Absolutely Skyrim would have been my longest hours played, have returned to Skyrim multiple times over many years. Fallout 4 would by next longest. Witcher 3 yes ... but I never found a reason to play through it more than once.
The game I played the most, according to steam, is Marvel Heroes Omega, an online Diablo-like in the Marvel Universe, and I played over a thousand hours on Steam alone, and also many more before it was on Steam. I am STILL bitter about how it was shut down. It was a great game.... Most of the Time.

Frankly, given the type of games your channel is generally focused onto (CRPG’s), I did not expect you to have played and enjoyed couple of my favourite games of all time ( RDR2 & TW3). I always wondered if the type of games you like would match my taste. But given that we have common interest, I’m more excited now to try out CRPG games. I wanna start with DOS 1&2 and BG3. Then jump into Pathfinder.

Mine's Elden Ring, 2k hours. Which is weird because I didn't enjoy my first playthrough. I thought it was bloated and they were rehashing ideas from Dark Souls. But something kept bringing me back, mechanically it's their best game and build diversity is limitless. And the PVP is fun as long as you don't take it too seriously.

Just wanna throw in that I have 1682.9 hours in Warframe and 2551.9 hours in Black Desert Online. I am one of those that wouldn't really recommend either of them. So I am the meme.
I'm a pretty hardcore gamer (already logged 80 hours in rebirth and only owned it for 2 weeks), but I only have two steam games over total 170 hours. MGS5: PP (230 hrs), and Terraria (270 hrs). The main reason is just I never re-play games, infact because I try to clear everything in one playthrough im usually sick of the game before I even finish it the first time.

DOS 2 is one of my absolute Favorite games I got over 400 hrs in it, , others i have 300+ hours in are No Mans Sky, Mass Effect trilogy. Fallout NV and Pillars of Eternity 2, and i just know those numbers are going to go up.

I'm playing Fallout 4 again now, it's definitely in my 1000+ hour club, as are Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Others in this club are Elden Ring, Monster Hunter World/Iceborne and Rise/Sunbreak, Final Fantasy 12, Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion (but not Skyrim, put in several hundred but not 1k), The Last Remnant OG Xbox version and Assassins Creed Odyssey,
I’ve got 1,930ish hours on Rdr2 I’ve played through many times, I think 7? A good chunk of that time was 100%ing the single player, can’t be asked to do the multiplayer stuff. The most time consuming was definitely the gambler challenges I’m looking at you dominos, and those dang robins specifically a three star one for the hunting request. It wasn’t until I found the legendary bridge in northern New Hanover that birds perch on that I found one. The flowers and plants are time consuming sure, but it isn’t luck based and if you bring out a online map for them, it’s pretty easy to sit down and hammer them out in one go.

I have no idea how many hours of Diablo 3 I have played ( Blizzard reports time on your current character, but they don't track deleted characters, and there are limited slots ) I think I played about 1000 hours of Marvel Heroes, which was a live service ARPG that was shutdown in 2017. I suspect I am fairly close to 1000 hours on the Marvel Ultimate Alliance too, with most of that on PSP. I was travelling a ton for work, and used to play a bunch, it has good online coop and solid voice comms built in and that was 20 years ago. My guess is that #4 is probably Raft at 500 or so, but wife loves playing that game together, planet crafter has become our favorite coop game lately, and I am probably over 300 hours on that now. The Long Dark is probably my top single player only game at nearly 200 hours.
I still need to finish RDR2, I always got so sidetracked with doing random shenanigans on the side. Might need to replay it again soon!

Watching this video I wonder up to what point this has become just a job to Mort, with deadlines and debts to pay, and the responsibility that every day he doesn’t publish content it’s money his family isn’t getting.
No video from this channel has ever make me think this; Mort always gets across as this guy with awesome vibes but I have to wonder whether making 100% of everything in record time to go to the next and the next and the next, just makes it all work and not as much pleasure as we usually get from diving fully and passionately into a game with calm and patience, and time to breath in the game.

DA3, Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 and 4 (some of which were not available at Steam at the time, and I suspect MA1 and 2 would be in this list otherwise), are: 1) Dragon Age: Origins; 2) Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous; 3) Pathfinder: Kingmaker; 4) BG3; 5) Skyrim.
My first playthrough of Pathfinder: WotR on Normal is over 400 hours and I started chapter 6 just yesterday. I only started to become okay at the game after 200 hours. 😢 just okay.I even watched Mort’s guides 5 times to understand, idk I feel incredibly stupid. playing Pillars of Eternity really helped me to understand other crpg’s better
So, Pathfinder is my most played game not counting Fallout ,Elder Scrolls, Quake and GTA games like when I was 10 years old
BG3 I was surprised to see I had over 500 hours, no regrets
I'm sure I have as many hours or more in Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for GBA that you have with the PC one.
Pathfinder: WotR is one of my most played games on Steam (5th or 6th) and I have around 450 hours. The other 5 in my top 6, from least to most, are Slay the Spire, Civ 5, Civ 6 at 600 hours, Last Epoch, and Stranded: Alien Dawn at around 950.
By far my 3 most played games of the past 15 years or so (maybe ever) would be Path of Exile 1, Hearthstone, and League of Legends with well over 2500 hours each, but I don't play on Steam.

My biggest recorded on Steam are Strategy games : civ 5, medieval total war 2, age of wonders 3, all over 500 hours.
But I'm pretty sure BG2 with mods must be even more, plus all other old Bioware titles and Neverwinter nights 2 must be in the ballpark too
