Your videographer really knocked it out of the park on this one! The footage of you on the basketball park is epic - that sun flare shot...chef's kiss!
Cool lens, nice images and Beautiful Model Felicia. Great video.
Props to whoever was filming you Matt! Lovely b roll.
That was Aaron - I’ll let him know :)
Thank you Matt, for another great review. It would be great to see a side by side with the Tamron and Sony GM II. Speed and Accuracy of focusing included. Best.
Would love to see how it performs on L-mount system like the S5ii. Panasonic's native version is so expensive!
Happy new year😎✌️
Same to you
I've never owned a Sigma lens. But from listening to your video. I would say that you like their lenses? Even thought it didn't produce as many sharp images.
Well, I have an old, old version ef mount. Still awesome.
Different lens.
@mattgranger yep just saying siggy is awesome stuff.
Matt, hi! Can you please advise on lenses for L-Mount for travel reportage photography? I shoot with Panasonic S5M2. I'm choosing between Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports or LUMIX S 28-200mm F4-7.1. Do you recommend any other lenses?
Is this lens specifically for Mirrorless?
IT seems Sigma has had a Sport 70-200 2.8 out for years, however, This video is just 4 months old.
I just purchased a BIB D850 and a looking for a good 70-200 2.8 for photos of family.
This or the tamron 70-180 g2 Matt?
Waiting for the LIVE SHOW! SistahPunk submitted photo inspired by your shibari course, she’s dying to hear your critique! Ha!
Thanks mate. It’ll be a week or so - I’m still in Bhutan.
I like the Sigma 24-70 DGDN and I really like the fact this 70-200mm is black. I get why the big boys are white but never seen the need for the 70-200mm to be white back in my Canon days. Now that I shoot Sony, still think the same thing. Then again I guess it doesn't help I live in Canada and any of the white 70-200 f2.8's are over $3k anyways.
I also found that the 6 footer could not dunk 😂😅
Excuse me, is this compatible with the Sony x2 teleconverter?
No. Only sony lenses
Unfortunately this lens probably tops out at 10 frames per second.
15 frames
You mean the LLLLLLLL-MOUNT SYSTEM 😂
Alliance.
@@emotionair1882
Okay. LLLLLLLLL- MOUNT ALLIANCE!!!!!!!
??
I don't think it can wicks for $1500, maybe under $800, pictures are like 50% sharp to be 2.8. 🤔🧐
well he was using the R model camera and not even the latest model which is not design for sports photography or fast movements maybe we should consider that as well, the review is great and I like the the shots but I don't think it was done with the right camera body to get a final conclusion on that lens.
@@javier001974 well I agree with you in some points, but to be, 2.8 the quality should be much better.to have that price.
