Fr Evan, I’m curious: who is your patron Saint? My name is also Evan I’m inquiring into the Orthodox Church and I am wondering about if there are any saints named Evan or if I should pick a John? (Right now I’m considering choosing Saint John Chrysostom)
He mentioned this in a show not too long ago, sorry I can't remember which one. He doesn't have a patron saint because he was named after a Church feast instead of a saint. The annunciation - or the Evangelismos in Greek. The Theotokos is something like his patron saint but he was named after one of her feasts instead of her directly.
