- Classic RV Converted buses (80!, starts min. 02:40 ) at campsite - Wohnbus Treffen - Schiedersee. With my RV coverted Van Hool bus I visited the annual RV bus gathering at the Schiedersee (Germany). A great spot, with at Pentacost 80 converted buses…. Watch the here, inside and outside.

Leuke film die de sfeer tijdens het bustreffen aan de Schiedersee goed weergeeft, jammer dat wij er deze keer niet bij konden zijn! Het is altijd bijzonder om de diversiteit aan omgebouwde bussen/touringcars te bekijken.

@@HanVerdiHuskyRV Unfortunately last year was my first and probably at the same time my last Wohnbustreffen. Sometimes life runs differently than planned. But I keep my fingers crossed for all participants that there will be a Schieder 2020!

There's some great buses there, I prefer yours to many of them. Subscribed. I want to see the adventures you have on the bus, plus I'm considering buying a bus myself. I'm not sure I need one so big but many vans just don't have the length and space I want for my home on wheels.
I retire in 4 years so I want to spend my years after that travelling Europe and other places - A vehicle such as a small bus would be a possible choice. I could pick up extra money on the way from music and teaching English and other subjects. If my girlfriend is finished from her contract with the USAAF by then we can spend our years travelling together. I retired from the service 20 years ago as a Pathfinder in the UK Army.

Sorry, won't be possible this year. The bus meeting is cancelled due to Covid 19. But next year I will give it a try.

als busfahrer also mit D schein und dem alten 3 er soll heissen inkl. C1, dürfte ich einen umgebauten bus fahren. oder eben wieder nur bis 7,5t danke für ne antwort
I don't know what 'und dem alten 3 er soll heissen' means. With C you can drive a truck or heavy RV. With C1 a truck or heavy RV up to 7500 kg. With D (or D1) the vehicle has to be registered as a bus.

the now B , was back then "3" and i think when you made the 3 till 1994 the C1 was includet. so everthing under 7,5t . so i have to really watch the weight
Aah, okay. If you have D, you can drive a bus as heavy as you want. But it will have to be registered as a bus, and not a truck or heavy 'PKW'. In my country, The Netherlands, it is the same. But for people who have their D and a bus, it is hardly possible to get it insured as a private person.
Ein schönes Video, aber bitte sag nicht Mörcides Benz, auch wenn die Angel-Sachsen und die im Indianerland hinter dem Atlantik (die uns Deutsche Germanen nennen) zu ignorant sind, Namen so auszusprechen, wie sie wirklich heißen. Du fändest es bestimmt nicht schön, wenn jemand zu DAF immer DÄF, oder DOF sagen würde.

What I wanted to please you, is that you call the Name MERCEDES BENZ not like Mörcides Benz. Mayby you wouldn't like to hear, if someone says DOF or DIF, but means DAF Trucks.

Okay, I'll keep that suggestion about brand names in mind! And to be completely honest: usually I do use the original brand names, like 'M.A.N.' in this one: th-cam.com/video/Ssc-o3qS8kg/w-d-xo.html. Someone once told me: 'You should pronounce M.A.N. the English way, like the rest of the video.' I refused and gave him the same answer you gave me. So I have to admit: don't know wy I didn't here.....

We just use Niederlande or Holland...but what or where is Dutch.
@@truckeronprivatetour4730 'Dutch' comes from the word 'Dietsch' or 'Nederdietsch', which was the name for the language in this region during the late Middle Ages. In those days the names 'Nederland' and 'Holland' were hardly used at all, at least not for the territory it is now. To be completely correct 'Holland' is only the western region, the provinces Noord Holland & Zuid-Holland. So when you visit Friesland or Limburg for instance, be careful with the word 'Holland', they probably won't like it 😀
'Dietsch' is related to 'Duitsch', which is the word-origin of your 'Deutsch' and our 'Duits'.
