Emmy is always great about keeping their fumbles and mistakes in. Some of my favourite moments on the channel have been her embracing solething going comically wrong, sometimes repeatedly. The “eggstraor” device “explosion of parts” is my all time favourite moment.
Hi Emmy, the price point always make me reluctant, when you can put together a great Budae Jjigae for pennies. I bought a reusable chem heater which I am yet to use.
We could have used a few for hurricane helene. We had plenty of food and ways to cook without power, but this would have been a nice change of pace during the few weeks without power
I often use a cook pot called "Barocook", a three part pot using a flameless heater pack, that uses water to cause the reaction. It's made in South Korea, and uses quick lime. Basically the food in the upper steel pot is steamed. It works pretty well to warm food, but cannot cook raw meat. 😊 A very similar concept to this system but more robustly made. The ten-pack bag of heater pouches (50 grams and 80 grams variants) aren't cheap, but do work well. 👍
These packets would be fantastic for hurricane relief. My elderly parents were stuck with no electricity or water for six weeks. There was no way to reach them. I would have been much more relieved if I knew that they had something like these.
That’s interesting. The heating pouch reminds me of those Bioheat single-pack pads that adhere to inside clothing to warm aches and pains on the body, which after several hours’ wear puff up and harden in the same way! 😮
The no-heat konyac noodles one looked really good! I wonder if any of my local stores has anything like that. (BTW, Emmy, it looks like the description still has the chapters from the disappointing Hello Kitty ramen before this video's actual chapters.)
Thanks so much! I wonder if I can get this sort of thing in Western Australia. The city is quite multicultural so it's quite possible. I'm thinking it might be good to keep in the car; there are lots of long roads without much sign of civilisation in WA.
Noodles look like cooked cabbage which are good at any temperature. Thanks for exploring the emergency food. I have seen many kinds at travel plazas but never tried. Too expensive to try without knowing how. That does look good. You are thorough in descriptions. Thank you. Trucker survival food! Need to look for inexpensive offerings. Good for shelf storage. Easy. Sure the expiration date is not going to be that strict in observing. Great job.
Like what you found with those fast meals , it’s neat for emergencies and if you don’t really want to wait …Love the things you find and test , interesting finds….♥️♥️♥️
I can't rationalize wasting so much plastic on such a small meal. ONE meal. There ARE emergency situations that this would be amazing in, natural disasters, fire, hurricanes... but just to have in my pantry? Nah.
@@rexterrier1 Umm... Pretty sure there's plenty of vids talking about adding a 25% tariff? (aka a 25% tax for those who don't understand what a tariff is...)
Not trying to be mean either, but please leave the politics out; there’s other TH-camrs who welcome these comments, but Emmy never has. I’m angry too, but I advocate in other spaces. This is not that space.
Like someone said it’s for emergency uses or maybe for an overnight hike… You are acting like they are promoting this for everyday use. Use your brain just a bit before you comment.
I think one of the reasons Emmy endures as a content creator is that she doesn't get cushy and afraid to try things just because she has an audience. I'm no fan of plastic, but I'm sure it's food safe at high temperatures in order to pass regulation.
@emmymade, in your description, you have chapters for your previous video before you have the description and chapters for this video. "Let's go fly a kite!🪁"
Thanks, Emmy. I needed a fun distraction tonight as recovery efforts continue in the Potomac river in DC.
Emmy is adorable. Love her delivery
The self heating meals would be perfect for areas that are prone to lose power during winter.
I was thinking that, as well. A great item to put in your 72 hour kit, or toss in your car in case if you get stuck in a snow storm, etc.
That was hilarious when the lid popped off and gave you heart palpitations.😂
I love love love that u didn’t edit out the lid popping off lol u handled that great

😂😂😂😂😂 I yelled when that happened!
It’s not her style to edit! She keeps it real!
Wow 3.06 million subs congrats Emmy 🎉 don't wanna brag but I've been here Lurking mostly in the background since the early days 🎉
Thanks for sticking with me through the years.🤓
@emmymade Itadakimasu❣️
Me too!

That’s great it includes water!

I like that it is reusable! I always thought there was way too much waste with those kits.
Oh, that sounds interesting!!! I'll have to research it - thanks for sharing.🤓
"Once you pop, you have a cardiac arrest!!!" :P

Eat the ducky moss❤😊
That one moment when we got to see the backstage 😶. It was like seeing someone who uses glasses all the time but without them.

Very intriguing
Your video made me realize I need to head to my local H-Mart to get some of these things!
Great idea, but it’s $45 for one meal at my local Walmart for one of these meals.
I was gifted one of these, i was so surprised how hot it got. If i had not figured out how to close the lid properly, i would have burnt myself
The wide noodles looked like squid
The no-heat konyac noodles one looked really good! I wonder if any of my local stores has anything like that.
(BTW, Emmy, it looks like the description still has the chapters from the disappointing Hello Kitty ramen before this video's actual chapters.)
The rice noodle salad looked delicious to me
It was.😋
Hi Emmy! You are looking more beautiful than ever!
What are you supposed to do with that huge plastic dish? Don't worry about plastic chopsticks, they need to give you a use for all that plastic!
Art project piggy bank?
Thanks so much! I wonder if I can get this sort of thing in Western Australia. The city is quite multicultural so it's quite possible. I'm thinking it might be good to keep in the car; there are lots of long roads without much sign of civilisation in WA.
Ok, when that lid popped off I yelled.😂 That surprised me!!!
😆Me too!
Thank You for sharing your finds, and commendations on your ability to describe food!👑🎖️👍
Question... did it say to drain the konjac noodles?
where did u purchase these ? do u have links?
I bought mine at a local Chinese supermarket, but Amazon also carries them, there's a link in the description.
Ok. So it's basically an MRE.
Originally found this channel through the MRE videos, stayed for the cute videos
The beginning music from 2014 😂🤣
At least it didn't contain a ton of spice making it inedible
❤ Simply Delicious ❤ The food looks good too 😋.
Does this feel like Deja vu to anyone else? Is this a repost ?
I take self heating meals camping. I just wanted it to not be spicy.

The calorie count on MREs is astronomical.
They are good calorie and sodium levels for soldiers who are hiking with a lot of gear all day.
@jenniferbabuca yup
Asians have the coolest stuff when it comes to food. Especially Japan and Korea
Hello lovelies
Wait! The baby is 10?!? 😂 I've really been here a long time. 🥰
He is! Bonkers, right?! Thanks for sticking with me through the years.🥰
Looks like liang pi noodles
8.99!? Damn inflation man
Love these! Great for camping or lunch at work :)
That sploosh when you dumped the noodles into the strainer was some good ASMR.
Where do we get these, I want to try so bad xD
Yay first here! Love any MRE-adjacent videos by Emmy.
The way the top popped 💀
These are so stinkin Cute!!!! ❤❤❤ Very Cool

K, thanks.
If you don't have it in your pantry )or survival kit), it won't be there for the emergency times.
Not trying to be mean, but with the current president of the USA, things coming from other countries are going to be a LOT more expensive.
Show a video that our current President said this.
You can buy this in the US.
I don’t like him either but your comment is practically irrelevant to the video
Political opinions are not needed nor appreciated.

hi Emmy!🎉
Love your videos!! Ignore the haters, they have nothing else to do, ugh
I had one of those cold noodle meals the other day, I didn't like it, something about it was just off putting, it was really vinegary.
Like the world need more plastic…😢
yummy just needs some tofu and a fried egg
Is all the packaging recyclable please?
Plastic pot with a slot in the lid? As Emmy said *Coin Bank!* And the metal pot would be aluminum so definitely recyclable...
So much plastic waste for one small meal.
It is but it's for emergency situations
I was thinking the same thing.
Like someone said it’s for emergency uses or maybe for an overnight hike… You are acting like they are promoting this for everyday use. Use your brain just a bit before you comment.
Ffs
I bet you’re a lot of fun at parties.
Hello chef!!! Good morning. Watching here from Philippines 😊😊😊
Heeey Emmy and subbies ❤
If you haven't subbed yet what are you waiting for 🙃
I eat this brand. ❤
These have been found to release toxic chemicals while cooking and are made using questionable hygene standards.
❤❤❤
I'll say tho, for the second meal, in an emergency situation, would you HAVE to strain the noodles beforehand?
You cold probably poke holes in the noodle bag and squeeze out the liquid in a pinch.
the only concern i would have it if the steam from the heat pack could contain any of the chemical and get in the food.
Nasty
🤔🃏, ... Hears itself???
The food doesn’t heat itself, the heat pack heats up the food.
reupload? :O
love being so early.
Emmy. You don't need to eat toxic heated plastic residue for clicks. You have an audience already.
Emmy will eat anything and everything 😂 she’s got an iron stomach.
I think one of the reasons Emmy endures as a content creator is that she doesn't get cushy and afraid to try things just because she has an audience.
I'm no fan of plastic, but I'm sure it's food safe at high temperatures in order to pass regulation.
She also eats roadkill and bugs. We’re all full of microplastics anyway- who’s to say any food is healthy nowadays.
First?
first haha
I like Emmy. I like her a lot. But I don’t like when she says stinkin. So stinkin cute, so stinkin happy etc. 😵💫
First
Ah, to be a mini garlic chopper.🥺🧄🔪
Let's go fly a kite!🪁❤ Self heating meals have come a long way ❣️
