I still don’t understand why this song makes me want to happy sob in the first place, but it’s even stronger with the background vocals being more present. Maybe it’s the feeling of unity within splatsville? Nobody is the same, and it’s all one huge melting pot of different cultures and paths of life, and something like that being so openly present in this game is so dear to me
