You picked up horsepower and torque. Your speed top speed isn't improved because you're already at the maximum rpm the engine can turn. If you changed sprockets to lengthen the gearing and lower the rpm for a given speed, you'd pick up top speed.
I have a taotao and surprisingly it holds up pretty great! In rock climbing rough terrain and the top speed i did was 65mph on trail not even on road, with a new carb and air filter this thing is a beast..

Hey, gotta question. I'm not sure if the rear suspension on my pitbike is broken or not. It looks fine but it is constantly getting locked up and wont compress at all. I have to like jump down on it for it to go back to normal. Know what is going on?
Just saying that since there is no tire lock you should not run the back tire pressure low or it will slip and break the stem watch out it happen to me
I don't know if you'll respond but when u installed the carb did u need to play with it or install different jets cuz iv seen alot of reviews saying that

I know the video is old! I have an xpro x26 125cc. With the v22 carb and 16t sprocket and 93octane non ethanol gas, I squeezed out 54mph. I tried a 17t sprocket but just lost to much fun. (Torque)! The bike just cranks, first kick every time, even after sitting a month!
Dylan Blake get a uni air filter. I wouldn’t send it through deeper water or mud anyway though. It can get pretty bad because theres not a lot of clearance and the mud guards aren’t long enough.

And down the cape I live in Massachusetts. My friend works at the mini bike go kart track in Bourne. And they would run that in there because they'd be running all day long on hot days in the summer. So anyway around to the Mason-Dixon line. And some are specially I'd run 50 weight. And your way up North. 10w 30 in the winter dude in the middle go fuc yourself. Love you guys
I have the vm22 carb on this bike, it idles fine and sounds good, 1st gear is fine but after that 2end gear and up it bogs when I give it Throttle. Any suggestions?
Ay for anyone with the same problem ^ I adjusted the needle clip in the carburetor to the 2end grove from the bottom so it raises the needle up a bit. Works perfectly now, bike is impressive. Passed my expectations forsure!

You may need to time it and adjust the valves
Get a race cdi next it helps the low end quite a bit and you'll gain a few mph due to the higher rev limiter
I got the Tao dbx1 140cc with tht carb and it rips soo good now

I didn’t end up doing anything with the jets but I adjusted the needle and air/fuel screw.

If you take the exhaust tip off it’ll faster and hit top speed a lot faster

I top 40 on my db14 stock carb just messed with the carb adjustments
I have the same bike, any tricks to keep water out of the stock air filter? Bike was out of service a few times due to that

depends what type of bike and size, you can still ride dirtbikes hot
If you live down South for in Texas like hemorrhoid gets real hot in the summer. Just put 50 weight oil in. Much better in hot weather

its a 14 tooth in the front and a 41 tooth on the rear

@@jerolehmuskoski5108 I think its your front sprocket, if you put a 13 or 14 tooth you'd probably get a boost of about 5mph
