i feel so bad for the parents who bought the fake versions for their children without knowing they were fake. and that their children just got mad at them for not buying the real product, atleast most of us are grateful for what we have and that we have a roof over our heads.

And the fact that they made a hauler for Doc was crazy. Doc didn't even have a hauler. They even made a hauler for Chester Whipplefilter, Primer McQueen, Fabulous Lightning McQueen, Storm, Cruz, Francessco, and many others. The bootleggers are just milking all the racers to make haulers for them...
Is there anywhere that shows all the genuine ones and what they look like so that you can compare against what people are selling on eBay. It's difficult to tell with some, when you don't physically have them side by side

Also, that bootleg Rip probably looks weirder because you're comparing him to the Thailand one, which has much duller colors and a generally grainier look compared to the China one. Also, do you have China McQueen as Chester Whipplefilter? I have both China versions.
I used to have the china one, well, my brother did. From the 2 pack with him and Luigi and guido with the mud towel. We haven’t seen the China McQueen in a while tho… who knows where he’s been hiding here at our place

Why do so many people take issue with cheaper knockoffs being available? At the end of the day, the target audience will have just as much fun, if not more fun, because they can have more for less.
Because the fake ones quality is terrible, the fake ones aren’t as accurate to the movie as the real ones, and the paint on the fake ones might not be safe, so it would definitely be better to get the real ones, even though they are more expensive.
@@JesseGT the main issue is when you are trying to get an official one but you are tricked by a bootleg. Also, these bootlegs may not be safe for kids and most of these go to kids.

Btw, these "fakes" made on the same factory, same line same people as originals. There are certainly real fakes exists but these are more so called "backdoor production" . The really rare diecasts not possible to find "fakes", cause they rare enough, so whoever reproducts them, can't find or not willing to pay for originals.

Just either manufactured not during official shift, stolen from the factory and haven't been packaged, or haven't passed random quality control. So mostly I would expect minor issues specially with decals and paint. The variety of haulers that resemble Mack - they are real fakes though.

But it is not a problem for me as a Cars fan to say where is real and where is knockoff stuff.
For things like the Chick Hicks Hauler, yeah that is quite bad, and I've been searching for a regular Dinoco Lightning McQueen for a while and I keep spotting fakes that really don't look right because I think they use the Cars 3 McQueen model instead of the Cars 1 model. But in the case of Francesco, I don't see the issue with the fake. My Mattel Francesco has been broken for about 10 years and I bought a new one and when it arrived, I realised it was fake because on the bottom, all it said was "Model Car" but I don't see what the problem is. A real Francesco was a lot harder for me to find and they were way more expensive.
Same sort of logic still applies. Look for oddities compared to the original. I would suggest comparing the bootleg car and packaging to a real one with a google image/or video and go from there
