_(siiiigh)_ Well, I suppose I can't say I didn't see this coming. Since it's already been a month since you posted this I dunno if you'll read it, but I'll say it anyway. 😊I've been subscribed to this channel ever since the ever legendary Let It Go translate. We're close in age too, with me being just 3 years older, so it kinda really isn't an exaggeration to say my young adult self grew up with this channel. My early adult years were plagued by so many painful experiences, I can't even begin to guess how much sleep I've lost to crying and wanting to give up. Your GTS videos really reminded me of the lighter side of life and helped me find that levity I needed to push on through and get to the other side of the swamp. And for that I'm so grateful. I'm sure I'm not the only one as well. I've seen sooooo many people comment on your videos how much they really needed that laugh today cause life was hitting them in the gut right then. Some people need a hug to go on, others just need to laugh about "Satan takes me to the pasta!" for a minute to wipe their tears away. Sadly, I'm gonna be honest and say the style of music you chose to pursue really isn't my niche, and that's okay. I don't expect you to change or whatever. But it also would feel dishonest and gimmicky to me to actively support something I simply don't enjoy. Which means I guess this is goodbye. 😊I really do wish you all the best. I'm really happy that you've found your happy place and are able to do what you truly love, that you were able to find yourself in what you do and are excited about your journey forward from here. There really is no greater joy in life than finding more love in something you love. Where I come from, my people revere fire. We believe it symbolizes the spirit of life itself, and thus is just as sacred as any living soul is. So, Malinda, may your flame burn. May it be bright and warm to everyone around you and shine like a beacon like it already has to so many, so you can continue to inspire both yourself and others. May it always help you find your way in the dark and lead you home to joy and love. Thank you, godspeed, and goodbye. 🤗👋💖

After 10 years, you have truly mastered the "dying inside while my friend says something outrageous" look. Thanks for the continuous laughs and I look forward to whatever you do in the future.
I haven’t realised how must I missed GT’s chaotic energy! Here’s to 10 wonderful years. Really love what you’ve been doing on the other channel, especially It’s All True, but goodness that Gradually Watermelon intro brings back memories. Now to wait on the launch of Google Punch…
as someone who enjoys google translate, i find that "filtering" through differently based languages (latin vs non-latin based languages) is very helpful to make hilarity
As much as I like Google Translate, I find it very useful for "filtering" comics in different languages (Latin and non-Latin). Google translate now is making claims that it's translating comics.
yess Alexander Lukashenko is my favorite too lol. it's understandable to move on to another projects because we all grow up. you still got the comedic timing though.
Yes, Alexander Lukashenko is my favorite. It is logical that we all move on to other jobs as we get older. have fun Google translate derailed half of that,
My girlfriend and I were a little late to the party and discovered the channel only in 2020, but "I will take your lunch away from you" and "Gradually watermelon" instantly hit the spot ❤ We've been away from each other for two yeras now, and long distance hits hard, but this channel is among our fondest memories about the time we lived together.. Love your art Malinda, and thank you for your amazing work!
I quote "on and on and on and on and on" to my brother sometimes (not in months now because he lives far but back when he was still close) because we watched that video together years ago and I was surprised he still remembered it the last time I mentioned it haha
10 years. Wow! I have my high school Spanish teacher to thank for introducing me to this channel back then because she showed us your Let It Go video to warn us not to be reliant on google translate and when I got home from school I looked up your channel to see your other videos. It's truly been a pleasure to watch you grow as a creator.
Malinda, I am not exaggerating for a second when I say that this very channel got me through the first 2.5 years of university when I have found it. Back then, it was very regularly updated and every week or two or a month I'd get a notification about a new video and then laugh SO HARD for the next 10-20 minutes... Mentally, it really carried me. For that you have my deepest gratitude. I still enjoy your content at MALINDA and I love hearing your voice in some collabs or some tiktok music compilations that sometimes make it to TH-cam - but Google Translate Sings still has a special place in my heart. I do hope you'll do a song or two every now and then... For old times' sake. And if not, then I hope someone might pick up the torch and run with it onward, to more great translation humour and more. I wish you all the best in your future artistic pursuits. And, no matter where this goes next - I'll be around. Of that you can be sure.
yeah, same… ik she said Tom is busy but I wonder if she could ever find someone else to share/upload on the channel every once in awhile or so? Instead of like leaving it completely abandoned, y’know…

I watched ur videos in middle school, now im 21. Your first video i watched was ur mary poppins video! It was so catchy i rewatched it over and over. Go the distance was also my top favorites. Thank you for bringing laughs into my childhood ❤️❤️
I’m 22 but the first video I watched of hers was in 7th grade and it was the let it go one we saw in one of my classes together (it was because they wanted to warn us not to use google translate on our language classes). I lost her channel for a couple years and didn’t get back into it until I was in high school around 2016. I loved her channel in high school and I regularly quoted the videos all the time, still go back and rewatch my favorites sometimes
I remember when this channel was created. I was there at the start and truly enjoyed your content. I'm glad to see you've gotten big after all these years
It's honestly incredible realizing that it's been ten years. It's been a privilege to watch you learn about yourself and really flourish. I still go back to that OG video just to marvel at how much your voice has grown ❤
She hasn’t confirmed if it’s fully the end yet but I do hope she comes back one day… I miss these videos but I understand if she’s into other things now. I’m happy for her anyway and there’s always these old videos to look back on. They’re all still hilarious to me. We can only hope that one day these might make a return
Gods, I forgot how unhinged Translated-Malinda was 😂 it's been absolutely brilliant to follow you for the past 10 years! Your original music speaks to my soul, but I still come back here for some "give up, give up, you cannot do it back in" whenever I just need a good giggle! Here's to the next 10 years, Malinda! 🎉❤️🏴
Oh, translation: I forgot how funny Malinda is. So glad I've followed her for 10 years! I once sang in all things, * my soul spoke. But every time I want to laugh, I come here and say, "Stop, I can't go back!" I say go 10 years, Malinda. 🎉❤🏴 Well that is in google translates words.
7:19- this almost made me cry because i literally did grow up with Malinda and google translate sings. Was 8 when I started watching her videos and now I’m a college freshman listening to her music
Thanks Malinda for all these years and good laughs. Wish you would return to do more of these videos every now and then, but completely understand the reasoning why that might not ever happen anymore. Hope you have long and succesfull career as artists 😊
I was missing Google Translate sings videos, they are now very nostagic to me (doesn't that make me feel old), but I'm glad you came back at least to give us a proper goodbye. Happy, that you're happy and fullfilled in your life, good luck with all that's to come. Who knows, maybe you'll find inspiration to come back some time - I'll stay subbed. SUPERDITA! (quoting my personal favourite video of you)
Haha, I love this coincidence 😄Reminds me of how "Yesterday" was translated to "Wednesday" in The Beatles video and the comments were jokingly asking if it was Thursday when the translation was made.
The first video that I watched in ur channel was "Look what you made me do", parody by Google translate. Honestly, all those song parodies had brought me a lot of joy. I feel really apreciated watching ur videos. Congratssss for the 10 years anniversary!!
I'm kind of sad to hear that you don't intend to make more of those kind of videos... Because your original music is giving me very strong hits in the feels, and I need a long break between one and the other... and I could use that kind of giggle in between... and... you know... just seeing you with this smile on your face without getting too serious... I do want to thank you. your playful and loving personality has drew me in to this channel, your music is an inspiration to me, and it's been with me through the tough times I've been in the past few years. (still singing to the stones beneath my feet when I'm a bit down and need a boost of love.) So... thank you. for all of it. even if I don't watch as much of your content than I used to and even tho you are not making the same kind of content you used to... I am grateful for finding your content when I did and for you to become a part of my life.
It's been a while but holy cow it's still so funny I had to stop it for a moment because I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to pass out . Oh man, I needed this ... Thank you.
I have so many things I want to say but cannot find the words... GTS has saved me (and still does) from myself so many times, and I come back and watch videos whenever I am sad or struggling with my depression, so thank you Malinda, sincerely, for the past ten years, and whether or not you do more, I'll always come back to this. I'm so proud of how much you've accomplished this past decade, and watching it happen in real time has been so inspiring. Never stop chasing your dreams.
Finally took the time to watch this video, been on my list for a couple days! I want to say: Thank you, Malinda, for your years of creating so much joy for me and my family. You were the best Google Translate singer out there, and I wish you the happiest time going forward on the path of life! Thank you!
I'm so glad I never stopped being subbed to this channel. When I happened upon Malinda's content a decade ago, I was constantly searching for Frozen content. As time has passed, I rarely come back here but "gradually watermelon" will always be the most memorable and hilarious phrase ever imo. While I don't listen to much original music, I will always support you, Malinda, even if it's not directly. You helped shape a part of my sense of humor and I'll never forget that.
I found this channel years ago and started sharing every video with my mom, who isn't very tech-savvy but definitely enjoyed the chaos. I also have to confess, I've slipped Google Translate singing "Never Gonna Give You Up" into slideshows while teaching.
I've missed google translate like you would not believe!! However, listening to your most recent album, watching your movie, and just seeing how much you have grown, I am so effing happy for you and am glad I got to experience so many laughs on this channel. I hope for many more great things and joys in the future for you p.s. my favorite google translate vids include your sam smith vid, hamilton, and mother knows best
Your google translate videos have never failed to make me laugh myself to tears. My best friend showed me your Let It Go video when it first went viral (I was like 16) and I've been obsessed with your content ever since. It's been such a joy to have been able to grow up with you and see how far you've come. You're an inspiration and I can't wait to see how much further you go. And if all we have left of Twisted Translations are the videos we already have, it's still a mighty gift to have. Keep on trucking!
I wish you luck in your new endeavors, Malinda, and at some point I might watch your new content over on your other channel. But honestly I'm going to miss your Twisted Translations videos. They were hilarious and honestly I need to laugh more. I have depression and you managed to keep a smile on my face. Thank you. Google Translation: Congratulations on your new job, Malinda! One day your creativity will be seen in other fields, but I missed your fake translation video. It's very funny and I'm sorry.
I remember 2020, when I firstly came across "twisted translations".And the first video I watched was "Never gonna give you up". Yeah, even at this channel I got rickrolled... Thank you for good mood Malinda❤ Still rewatch your twisted translations😊
Well it was fun while it lasted. I unsubscribed a long time ago because there weren't any videos coming out. I just saw you on Instagram and thought I would see if you got back into posting Google Translate videos, but now I see it's pretty much dead. Thanks for the years of fun.
10 years... It's been a long time since I stumbled upon your videos. Around April it'll be 10 years for me. Don't know the exact date, but it was around the time of colors of the wind. I still love that one so much. 😂
My two daughters are learning to be professional singers and your Google fails have been a great inspiration. I think they know most of your repertoire by heart… Your versions give them a great excuse to have a random singing fit at any time of the day ;-) ❤
Congrats on the Ten Year Anniversary and I'm so happy for you that you found your real calling and can follow it. I do hope you can come back here every now and then because these videos are such a joy to watch, but only when you have time to spend on it. Thanks for all the laughs!
Google Translate Sings(Twisted Translations) has definitely showcased your versatility and creativity in different aspects of your content, like the singing, acting, comedy etc. You have surely created master pieces of original comedy. Phrases like "Gradually Watermelon" would live eternally in the hearts of your fans, and a lot of us would keep coming back to this channel to listen to those funny songs whenever we want to unwind and have a good laugh. You have accomplished your mission and now you've evolved and moving on to pursue your passions in different arenas. Wishing you all the best for whatever you do. Keep rocking!!
I still remember finding Let it Go before it became viral, and ever since Shape of You I got my husband to listen to you. I sometimes don't catch up on yt vids but I do listen to Spotify and some of your folk music has landed on my husbands too and it takes us a bit to realize we've been listening to you for 10 years already.
I’m a voice teacher and one of my students LOVES to sing your songs so I’ve been listening the whole google translate sings playlist every week for like four years. Your work had a huge impact on people and it was such a good way to introduce lots of different musical styles and techniques!
This video was so bittersweet, it really does feel like the end of an era. 11 year old me was obsessed with translator fails, and I have since come out as a lesbian, made some amazing friends and went through a complete style and music change. I am now 17 years old, and this video has not only made me laugh, but shown me how far we’ve both come since then. Thank you Malinda (and google translate), for making me laugh so many times. ❤

This channel was genuinely my childhood. I remember watching the shape of you video when it first came out. I also remember you opening up about your struggles with anxiety and ARFID, and it helped me realise that although I thought I had ARFID too, my problems with food were more likely to be related to autism (which I'm getting evaluated for soon) so thank you so much for the laughs and the help with figuring myself out.

How did I come back to 69 likes-?
what about the other line when it randomly mentioned sex too? 😭
looking back i was pretty young when i got into this channel, and it's incredibly funny being older now and hearing these jokes lol
How? You just got lucky, I guess. LOL

It’s been 10 years already!!! No way! That’s incredible!
TH-camrs are allowed to end projects! I'm glad that you've felt able to evolve and grow, and I love seeing where you're going next. Thanks for ten fabulous years of this. It's a product of its time and it's perfect as it is.

I mean, gt already loves ranting and being angry so google punch isn’t all that farfetched
Google Punch: The website where you can punch your friends
i realise that for all we know the final farewell words from this channel may just be "open and closed mode"
and i love it
as someone who enjoys google translate, i find that "filtering" through differently based languages (latin vs non-latin based languages) is very helpful to make hilarity
Alexander Lukashenko: an all Belarusian musical
Yes, Alexander Lukashenko is my favorite. It is logical that we all move on to other jobs as we get older. have fun
Google translate derailed half of that,
3:48 i see og Malinda trying to not break 😂😂
My girlfriend and I were a little late to the party and discovered the channel only in 2020, but "I will take your lunch away from you" and "Gradually watermelon" instantly hit the spot ❤ We've been away from each other for two yeras now, and long distance hits hard, but this channel is among our fondest memories about the time we lived together.. Love your art Malinda, and thank you for your amazing work!
My sibling and I regularly quote ‘I will take your lunch away from you’ while ‘sneakily’ stealing each other’s stuff 😂
I quote "on and on and on and on and on" to my brother sometimes (not in months now because he lives far but back when he was still close) because we watched that video together years ago and I was surprised he still remembered it the last time I mentioned it haha
Came back. One day we might see more haha
I don't know... Google Translate has so much hilarity and potential, even in 2024. Even if you don't continue, thanks for all the translations!
10 years. Wow! I have my high school Spanish teacher to thank for introducing me to this channel back then because she showed us your Let It Go video to warn us not to be reliant on google translate and when I got home from school I looked up your channel to see your other videos. It's truly been a pleasure to watch you grow as a creator.
My French teacher did the same thing haha
My Spanish teacher in 7th grade did that haha, I can’t believe it’s been that long
Malinda, I am not exaggerating for a second when I say that this very channel got me through the first 2.5 years of university when I have found it.

Exactly the same with me :D
Jesus Christ, I'm a fossil.
I'm sad the channel is likely ending but so happy for your new outlet! Thanks for a fittingly heartwarming and funny send off.
Technically she hasn't confirmed it's the end but if it is I'm glad for all the laughs she's brought
@@itsame43 Technically it's not the end, but.. it's basically the end.
With what Google Translate at 4:54 says 👀, Wednesday might surprise us with another video, Google Translates Valentines Day?
3:58 Calling out football fans on Superbowl Weekend. Quite the statement. 😂
Well that is in google translates words.
@@danieldabloxgamer9205 Pahaha! Thank you so much for this! 😂

So thankful you're back! We missed you so much!
5:00 I mean Wednesday is Valentine’s Day so she’s not wrong?! 🤷♀️
Haha, I love this coincidence 😄Reminds me of how "Yesterday" was translated to "Wednesday" in The Beatles video and the comments were jokingly asking if it was Thursday when the translation was made.
Malinda × Google translate confirmed?
(still singing to the stones beneath my feet when I'm a bit down and need a boost of love.)
So... thank you. for all of it. even if I don't watch as much of your content than I used to and even tho you are not making the same kind of content you used to...

Her humor is just so wholesome, charming and cute, just like her ☺️
This particular "stepping away" hit hard. Damn.
7:00 don't worry. We always do
I found this channel years ago and started sharing every video with my mom, who isn't very tech-savvy but definitely enjoyed the chaos. I also have to confess, I've slipped Google Translate singing "Never Gonna Give You Up" into slideshows while teaching.
I'm not in love with my legs
I've missed google translate like you would not believe!! However, listening to your most recent album, watching your movie, and just seeing how much you have grown, I am so effing happy for you and am glad I got to experience so many laughs on this channel. I hope for many more great things and joys in the future for you
p.s. my favorite google translate vids include your sam smith vid, hamilton, and mother knows best

Just a thought.... Google Translate may have improved, but chatbots are pretty new tech. There may be potential making twisted translations there.
Well it was fun while it lasted. I unsubscribed a long time ago because there weren't any videos coming out. I just saw you on Instagram and thought I would see if you got back into posting Google Translate videos, but now I see it's pretty much dead. Thanks for the years of fun.

This channel is always my go to when I feel down. Never fails to put a smile on my face 😊
10 years... It's been a long time since I stumbled upon your videos. Around April it'll be 10 years for me. Don't know the exact date, but it was around the time of colors of the wind. I still love that one so much. 😂
It took me much longer than it should have to catch on to what was happening with the “translated” comments from Google counterpart / roommate.

I remember first discovering you through gtlive in a try not to laugh challenge. Can’t believe you and matpat are now both moving on to bigger ventures.
Your first Let it Go Google Translate video seriously started me into singing parodies and eventually into music production. Thank you so much!
this channel is one of the best things that's ever happened; it was also one of the first things that me and my best friend of nearly 7 years found out that we both watched and enjoyed, and we still frequently reference various videos :D
