Ordered the bigger 2800nm 1/2" one in red, used it for the first time today, it made light work of the wheel bolts I was removing on a John Deere gator. Found out they are set to 100nm. So thought I would set it some tests. Found a M16 nut and bolt and torqued it up to 260nm. Tried to undo it with a snap on impact wrench and it struggled to undo it. Reset the nut and bolt and tried the One Van impact wrench, it didn't even impact 3 times before it was undone. Very very impressed. Only thing that lets it down is the charger.
Thanks Dom, just ordered one of these. The price is still £57 including the discount code via the website and it should arrive before Christmas. Quick update - I have received the Impact gun. Works well, and even includes a selection of sockets and a screwdriver attachment. One note of caution, the charger plug is fitted with a 13Amp fuse (at least on the one I have), so change it for a 3Amp if you intend to use the supplied charger. I am going to replace the charger with a better one as the supplied charger is incredibly light and I'm not convinced by it. I'm also going to check the battery charge protection in the two supplied batteries. That said, as an impact gun it works very well, and certainly seems worth the money for home mechanic use.
By coincidence I was literally going through amazon looking for a right angle wrench before you posted this video, and this company also do those and your code works on them too, so just saved myself a fortune, £41 inc shipping, so thanks for putting us onto them, will let you know it its any good
Just ordered the 2800nm gun. No idea if it’s overkill but got that and the little right angle wrench for £100 with your code so thanks! Been thinking about getting both for ages but couldn’t justify the price for how much use they’d get.
@ They’re great so far. The right angle wrench is really good, used it loads and makes jobs a lot quicker and easier. Not much reason to use the 2800nm yet but it seems good.
@@TheParrottBros Just to add to it, the 2800nm impact is ok but I don’t think it would do 2800nm. My friends 1800nm Kielder is stronger. It’s still good enough for wheel nuts so I’m happy with it. Didn’t expect much given the price. The right angle wrench is great though, definitely buy one of those.
This looks a good bit of kit! Believe it or not, I don’t have an impact gun. Maybe OneVan fancy sending me one? 😂 great video mate, thanks for sharing!
I feel you should delete this video , looking elsewhere you can get the same gun in a case with impact sockets for cheaper than the link including the discount code just about to cancel my order
@@LydiaJones-b1v while this may be true I haven’t tested or used any other branded or non branded gun. Do they offer the same warranty and customer services? There will always be cheaper and more expensive options available. I’m merely sharing my experience with a cheap impact gun. A brand named tool with batteries and charger would be well over 4 times the price. I’ll leave your comment for others to see and they can make their own minds up. I shall not be deleting the video as there is nothing wrong with the content or product but appreciate your opinion.
It is still the same brand on offer on eBay also all warranty on a new product purchased from a uk based retailer is the same , the product is not uk made but uk based retailers are selling it so this falls under the consumer rights act of 2015 , I’m not being a pennie pincher here and I love you’re videos and I am a fellow mk1 owner but I’m thinking maybe they are having you over a barrel with the price also , it’s the quickest order I’ve placed then cancelled

I’ll be checking this out… I was looking for a Bosch professional one as all my other gear is Bosch professional
If you already have a tool system sometimes its easier to stick with it as you then only have one battery to charge.
@ exactly… I think that’s what I’ll be doing… Merry Christmas.. hope youre having a good one and a well earned rest
