I did not do A level maths... will I fail at Actuarial? If if do economics at university
Dont Put Exam P/1 from the Society of Actuaries and Casualty Actuarial Society USA, because our exam is focused on Probability Theory not in Mathematical Statistics. Exam P/1 is more difficult than CT3 . I have to remind you the SOA/CAS Track are different .
Okay, but what if we're not sampling from a normal population?
For Actuarial Examinations from the Society of Actuaries USA you dont need to prove anything. You need to be an speed human calculator. This is not Abstract Algebra, Modern Algebra or Real Analysis that are heavily focus on Mathematical Proofs .
