This has been a favourite of mine for several years. It actually reminds quite a lot of my favourite Vivaldi/Summer recording, (from the 60s, I believe), which also has a very steady, almost mechanical tempo/beat. One thought I had recently: for electric violins, aren't there better possibilities to enhance the rather flat/dull sound? In my ears, the lack of harmonic overtones, for each tone/string/instrument actually makes the tone sound a bit flat. Aren't there better technical possibilities today to add harmonic overtones with the help of digital filters to make a richer sound, that sounds closer to a traditionally built violin/string instrument? [I realize that there's quite a lot of compression used in the production of this track, which of course reduces overtones, so that might be a part of it, for this particular recording...]

@@asturiaquartet insane means "awesome". You should´t be afraid of using electric guitars (or even the bass). Just the cello makes the song a bit "empty". However, those electric drums made the song more interesting. I know the cello is the main instrument, but calling upon the other instruments makes the song more memorable cause It adds layers to the song! Check out Unhelig: Das Meer, Spiegelbild, Die Bestie, Zauberer, Hört mein Wort.
