The driving force for me with super dwarfs is their personalities. They are so intelligent and inquistive. You wrap that up in a size I can manage by myself...perfect.
Size is relative to how you feed as well as genetics I've found through experience. My male is 50% he's 11ft his clutchmate is about 5. Wanna know why? I fed weekly the first year and every 10 days after that. Lol. I have a 64% female that's 5ft. She is on a better schedule as I'm more experienced. Both are 3 years old
Garrett I have an almost 4 year old female superdwarf. She’s about 4.5-5’ long. She’s in a 4x2x2 but has started rubbing her face like CRAZY.. I have tried switching to rack as well as changing set up providing more hides, or different hides. No luck. It’s become insanely difficult to meet her demands as it seems like she just “wants out”. Any advice? I watched your video on rubbing, but still this girl is going nuts
@ReachOutReptiles thanks for replying. warm end sits at around 80-85 and the cool end is approx 75, with some cool get away dropping as low as 70. My most recent attempt to resolve this is I’ve cluttered the cage with tons of cork rounds and bark so there is a wide variety of temperatures she can use, as well as higher humidity within some of the ground hides. I can send pics of my set up
