I did the old school silicone grease to the original o-ring and teflon tape underneath it with two spacers and it's been hitting that 91 average after quite a bit of use, great models!
Very simple and cool mod! You can get the same top end results with a unicorn spring 90 (fps) and upgraded oring or an ultra 5 spring (105 fps) and oring. However, I have a feeling there is MUCH less work using your spacers than gutting an ultra 5 and testing orings to find one that is the best fit.
Someone also used Rival rounds as suitable spacers by sticking them in the tube part of the "plunger rod." A reliable alternative for anyone that doesn't have the 3D printed spacers yet.
This blaster with an upgraded rotation mech would go so very hard, so would some sort of extra ammo mod that doubles/triples every chamber with half lengths
I like that this is completely reversible. Really impressed with how the first spacer snaps onto the spring guide as well. Unrelated: as someone who's tinkered with the Outlaw, what do you think of its potential to be accurate? The DZ website says it's compatible with their scar but I haven't seen anyone test it and I'm always wary of a moving barrel. Thanks in advance.
Excellent design. I’m going to order from your etsy site. I’ve already removed the dart flag on a couple of mine. Dual wielding is too much fun! Are you going to make a modified cylinder with more exposure so it’s easier to load half darts? I’ve seen an image of one somewhere, but can’t remember where.
@@wistralis7387 I will be leaving it in the blaster. It's still got like 2 MORE spacers worth of room on prime, and it's a very solid spring. You may lose 5fps over time, but any spring will do that.

This is what I was talking about last vid. This is the attention to an awesome little blaster we needed. Great as usual from you.
Nice work! The desperado is a fun design and now that the FPS baseline has moved up, your work is keeping it relevant.
Im sure if you removed the dart flag, youd gain 1 or 2 fps and you'd be able to shoot short darts
@@Jimmy2Bits perhaps, but that's not the purpose of the video. It's an intro and install for the upgrade kit I designed and put together ❤️
@@radioactivesdesigns3554 but with short darts you'd worry less about the darts poking out of the cylinder, which makes it a nice supporting mod

Interesting, though I would imagine the foam would compress or even be torn up over time. It may not hold up too long.
Cool kit! Thank you for your efforts. Take care.

The rotation mech works really well, and im already working on a 12 shot inline!
@@radioactivesdesigns3554 I’m glad they made it solid enough, that’s usually not even a consideration
This blaster reminds of the sticky detonator from Halo 4
you could make a gribbley bit to replace the fan one with the radioactive design's logo
That's an awesome idea, but I doubt anyone would change it out except for me. Lol

@carbon5261 alot of people have said that with my kit that slightly lengthens the barrel, and the BCAR, that it shoots lasers!
Awesome kit Radioactive. Have you shot any half darts using your kit?
@@Andygriff1975 I have! Same around 100fps max when using the whole kit, even with heavy workers.

I'm already working on cylinders for it! They take a little bit longer to work the kinks out on.
Use short darts and take that dart guide ou
That's not the point of the video. I'm showing off the upgrade kit I made, not pushing it to the limit.
could you make an inline dart cylinder for this please
@zmogod1823 working on it!
Do you think this thing would be capable of firing Mega Darts?
There's no room, unfortunately
is this safe to leave in the blaster

@@wistralis7387 legitimately, it's been 2 days and 500 shots, and it's still the same exact length it was when I got it.
Well you be selling just the file for the spacer so we can print it ourselves?
Already am!
@@radioactivesdesigns3554 Ah, see that now. I just followed link the description the first time. Thanks.
Where can I get only the O-rings?
@@CitySlickerRisen industry secret... I would be up to selling them by themselves to you!
