@granttoye5852 weight reduction actually reduced performance in my testing, at least for heavy worker bamboos. That's why I added these metal washers.

@radioactivesdesigns3554 don't forget my other comment. Seriously, if anyone can give the outlaw the carbine kit it deserves, you seem like the guy to do it. I'd love to run a loadout that uses only cylinders lol look at the real steel circuit judge for reference if you have to lol

@granttoye5852 the outlaw doesn't really have the air volume to make use of a much longer barrel, unless you put a fake long barrel on it. I believe there is someone in Walcom's discord making one though.

@radioactivesdesigns3554 i know the handle is already pretty packed. I'd like to experiment with increasing volume, none the less, especially if there will be a stock attached, maybe a volume upgrade is the next step. I don't want much more barrel. Maybe just doubling it. I know that the stock cylinder/barrel/plunger interface isn't very strong, either. Real steel has a similar problem. Revolvers are forever leaking gas out the sides. Perhaps a compounding prime with a separate air tank? Has anyone done anything like that? 2 prime handles, essentially, that compress more air into the same space as before

Like i said, not too shabby at all. And that is by no means a dig at you. But i do have one question. You brassed the cylinder, yes? Why not brass the barrel as well? Ok, so two questions lol. I haven't brassed my cylinder yet, but I built a custom brass barrel for it. Functions just like the original, but i made it a little longer.

@damion9742 this aluminum barrel is slightly longer and tighter, and when I tested directly against a brass barrel of the same dimensions, the aluminum was better across all the power levels I tested at. Polished brass might be better, but I don't have the time to polish all the barrels I try to sell. The aluminum is clean, and performs well.

@@daethwing188 the gaskets are 20mm outer diameter, 10mm inner diameter, 2mm thick adhesive backed craft foam. An easy to source hammershot upgrade oring is 27mm OD 21mm ID 3mm cross section.

@@sracigrac the YEHW can get around 100fps with half darts, but it's pretty finicky and difficult to make work correctly

@@radioactivesdesigns3554 man I wanted a radson, couldn't afford it so I wanted to get a YEHW. I don't care much about fps but 60 normally and 100 with the long barrels I assume is steep for the price (77 dollars for me because so live in the UK).

@@sracigrac keep a look out during and around Black Friday. I'm not sure if people in the UK have an equivalent, but I usually do a pretty large sale during that time. You might be able to snag one.

@NBL_USMC I'm really enjoying using it. Reads basically the same as my Saturnus did, maybe 1fps lower when you take into account the difference in gate distance from gate 1 to gate 2 between the saturnus and this thing. Records shotguns super well, but it reads weirdly low for MXL. Need to figure that out.

@@4taquito they are actually basically not cross compatible. Some of the hardware can be salvaged off a Samson for a Radson XL, but you'd be printing basically an entire new blaster. At this time, Files and Hardware for the Radson XL are not available, but I am working towards fixing that.

@Helpnothing extended draw, dead space removal, 10kg spring, max compression spacer, cut down elites, 5 inch waxed brass barrels, silicone and craft foam gasket, new plunger head, new plunger rod, cut down the hammer for weight reduction, new oring, super light silicone based oil, new cylinder support arm, and absolutely massive balls.

@Helpnothing I haven't heard of any of them breaking in users hands. I'm sure if you dry fired it or dropped it on concrete enough times, something would break, but it's super robust and durable to normal operation.

Every part here is significantly changed from even the closest version, and besides that, I explicitly asked permission from 1. Captain Slug (who himself said "I don't know what you're asking me for, this is a derivative of a derivative, and I don't enforce licensing on this type of stuff anyway, and make that very clear") 2. BuilderBB, who gave me a free and clear license to use the grip, grip medallion, and knurled hammer he designed for the Samson. 3. Ruppernutter, designer of The Samson, whose agreement stipulated I pay royalties PER SALE of my derivative and related works to. I explicitly state all this in the item description, and was VERY VERY meticulous to make sure everything I've been doing here has been above board, because I am so so tired of other sellers and designers fucking over their fellow nerfers. I'm sick of the stolen designs and IP.

@Questioniblafy I prefer Etsy for these small items. I don't make much on files anyway. Reviews, visits, and number of orders matter more to me than $2.

@sracigrac it can be, if this kind of performance is what you're hoping for. Send me a message on Etsy! Custom Configuration only means you want something different from the standard ~77fps avg. That can mean 50fps, or we can push it to nearly 100 with Mega XL darts!

@wadekirby8575 no, I dont think so. It would require way too much modification. N1 barely fits as is, so Ultra is probably out of the question as well. I would have to redesign the entire front half of the blaster.

Interesting, though I would imagine the foam would compress or even be torn up over time. It may not hold up too long.

@@heheheknife1132 I use Slug Slym from Out of Darts, but a lot of people use a specific type of Super Lube Silicone lubricant with PTFE additives
