In my honest opinion, its great that wg is trying different things and not staying the same for eternity. Non-historical skins can be disabled and the tank can be simply left in the shop if you do not want it. Basically there are no downsides to this becoming real. In conclusion: YAY!

So the anime is quite enjoyable and the concept of fighting in old Tanks as a team game is fun too, lore is that those tanks are reinforced with modern materials so its safe for the crew, not too unrealistic compared to other stuff. Liked it.

In blitz, we have 5 ready 2 from Ooarai (Pz. IV & Hetzer) Kuro Mori Mine's Tiger 131 Saunders's Firefly Pravda's Is-2 Currently tho, only the Ankou has the voice pool, but it's been subpar for years. Hopefully they transfer pc's Ankou voice lines to blitz

One of Wargaming's staff, Nicholas Moran aka "The Chieftain", also served as a consultant for the anime. I'm not too sure if it was just for the movie, series or entire franchise, though. So, in a way, Wargaming has been involved with "Girls Und Panzer" for a really long time. Interestingly, in the series, one of the side characters and classmates of Miho mentioned that she and her clique play the game. It was only a matter of time before they included this collaboration to PC. Honestly, I'd get this because I like both World of Tanks and Girls Und Panzer.
*a bit of trivia:* GuP was already introduced to WoT (PC) back in 2014 but they only added the voice pack but in WG's video they recycled the said voice pack from 2014 the only new thing here is the texture of the tank. the voice pack that was introduced in 2014: -Akiyama, Yukari -Reizei, Mako -Nishizumi, Miho -Isuzu, Hana -Takebe, Saori -Nonna P.S. There's a mod where you can download those voice pack for free, I made a video about it.
I remember that many years ago (maybe 5 or 6) on world of tanks blitz this tank and crew (so this event in general) already was in the game. Thx for the videos btw, gr8 content :)
I have been waiting so long for this collab xD for me the Panzer IV H is my favorite tank, also thanks in part to the anime. I watched the series and i am absolutely hyped about it! I do think though that there should absolutely be a way for people to switch off such skins, cause i know that a good bit of the player base wants the game to look as realistic as possible

This colab was already happened years ago on wotb, the blitz version. It came with 3 tanks, Hetzer tier IV, Tiger tier VI, and Anko Pz IV tier V. The Tiger is a tier VII in tier VI (same armor, worse gun)
I remember when i used to play wot blitz, and their tank was introduced. Since i loved the anime, so is this tank. To a point i got numerous mastery awards and kolobanovs medal for that tank.
More crew voices is always appreciated. Imagine instead of the noise pop up when asking for help with the new communication system in WOT, we also hear the crew voices asking for help and such. Similar to what WoWs has, where if you ask for a teammate for help, you can hear your captain ask for help along with the other player's captain responding, in their own voice/language. So you might hear collab voices over the commander feeds. On the other note, bring the white flag to dead tanks is great
The best anime tank battle ever! My favourite battle is how the manage to win Vs katiysa! You may say that Vs maus was epic, yes I agree but the strategy to win katysa was excellent 👌

Totally getting this. Despite what you think of the voice lines it is a very clean show and mainly focused on tank combat. While not realistic, Girls und Panzer was a great show. The series and the movie are on Netflix, I recommend y'all check it out.

Yeah when I first heard about Girls und Panzer years ago I thought it'd be stupid (plus I hate anime) However I watched the series and found it delightfully whimsical and the tanks were drawn accurately. So I'm thrilled about this WOT offer. It'll be a hoot.
I may as well just put WG's bank details for my pay-cheque, because I am so hyped. I've been waiting for years for this, ever since WoWs did the Arpegio Blue Steel crossover and I realised that WG was open to anime events. Regarding the Pz IV H Ankou. WG already have the Primo Victoria with special name, look, and crew lay-out. There are also the type 59G, Liberte, Skorp G, Defender, KV2R with weird names and looks. This isn't a new behavior or game ruining introduction Tier 5 isn't that important and a lot of WoT players will enjoy this. Anyway I'm off to re-watch all of the anime to build up to the new film/movie being released.

"vor" in german means forward/advance... so "panzer vor" means "tank advance" or plural "tanks advance". but yes since its a german tank driven by japanese your russian "thief" is kinda funny, also the german "vor" is spelled like the english "four/4" so its also a joke in english "panzer vor" on a panzer IV (4)

wouldnt make much sense if the tank is the only thing you have to buy in the shop since the GuP event on blitz from ages ago had 5 of the special tanks obtainable by missions...
I love the anime so super excited about getting some of the tanks and crews, I'm guessing people that don't like them can just switch on the show historical only and it will look like a normal panzer IV

"vor" in german means forward/advance... so "panzer vor" means "tank advance" or plural "tanks advance". but yes since its a german tank driven by japanese your russian "thief" is kinda funny, also the german "vor" is spelled like the english "four/4" so its also a joke in english "panzer vor" on a panzer IV (4)
The "v/в" "вор" is more like the "v" in "vaccination" though. The v in German "vor ( forwards)" is spoken much more lightly like a "f".
