All of those physics that GearShift ignores are the very physics that feed FaJin. Wouldn't those still feed FaJin and OFA, magnified by GearShift, creating a loop of exponentially increasing stockpiled power? Basically, the more they are used together, the more powerful they become without a known limit! This could trigger the OFA awakening into an ultimate quirk! More of my crazy theories again.
That might actually be what the second user is worried about- that the feedback loop might generate too much power for Deku’s body to withstand. OFA undergoing a Quirk Awakening might alleviate this risk in some manner.

Literally the first few minutes into the non canon movie and the showing of him in his prime with older veteran hero’s already had me wanting to see a small series on all mights glory days and everyone else at the time
on the note of Bakugo not inheriting: The transfer process requires the recipient to be conscious for the duration of the process. With Bakugo falling asleep before the process was completed, the quirk had to return to Deku.
Actually it is as hinted that the quirk decided not to transfer. Because it's conscious, just how it can't be stolen, the minds inside the quirk basically transferred into bakugo but returned to deku after the fight was over. Basically a temporary transfer. Rather than them passing out . Because the transfer is instant not a over time process
My only issue with that is when All Might transferred the quirk to Deku he said it took like an hour or 2 to kick in. When Bakugo got it the effect was immediate
If you notice in the manga, AFO is shown to be crying as he chokes the second user to death in a flashback. In that particular panel, the 2nd user’s face looks VERY similar to AFO’s face, but younger…. It’s possible that the 2nd user is AFO’s son
The theory I find more plausible is that AFO is crying & the 2nd User is smiling because the 2nd user actually killed Yoichi as a means to sabotage AFO's plan You can imagine why that would have been done
I hope when BONES animates the current Shigaraki vs Deku fight they use sounds reminiscent to those found in FireForce. Deku’s gearshifts and punches have to sound incredible.
Man fire forces sound design is really fucking cool but also really fucking random and nothing sounds all that related to what's actually happening on screen it just sounds cool which might work for some but it definitely doesn't work for me
Just saying this once again since we saw Black Chain: Deku might learn how to use all his quirks in a Full Cowling style, such as Blackwhip Full Cowling which turns the Blackwhip mass into a suit like Venom, or ReDestro's Stress Quirk. Or Smokescreen Full Cowling to turn INTO smoke, making him impossible to harm, and a limiting factor might be like Mirio not being able to breathe or see when he's Permeating. Or even something like Danger Sense Full Cowling to get Ultra Instinct, or Fa Jon Full Cowling to effectively go Super Saiyan. We could also see something like a combo of Smokescreen and Danger Sense so he can cover a wide area and feel someone's killing intent anywhere in the smoke, or a combo of Fa Jon and Gear Shift to keep stacking momentum, and combing THAT with Float so he has full control over even the most minute of movements.
I definitely believe in the possibility of the smoke screen danger sense idea because we've already seen that in mustard's Quirk at the summer camp invasion arc and therefore that who has an actual frame of reference for that event happening and using that since he tends to model his move specifically after other Supers
I think the limitation of having a physical body would make it so that he can't turn it into smoke cuz even full cowling is just essentially coating his body in base one for all, I don't know if he would be able to reform his body after separating it again because there's a lot of complicated biological shit that has to do with Quirk usage that only gets bypassed if you have a body that evolved to support your quirk or you end up like Dabi, hurting yourself

What if the original transfer quirk was made stronger by mixing with the stockpile quirk by giving the user the ability to share the quirk with another person without having to transfer it? Little far fetched but heros rising (I think) may have been foreshadowing and gives a very good reason to keep Bakugo alive.
Pretty much a Naruto war move *yawn*...also would diminish all that Deku's been through though with honing the quirk for his body. Also would be 3 upgrades in one battle for Bakugo, which is kinda ehh.
Tbh I can see the transfer quirk being able to transfer to multiple users. The main quirk here is ONE FOR ALL. A power for all. It would make perfect sense that the doomsday theory was correct but not about how it would happen not just over the course of generations but through a world changing event. Suddenly nobody would be quirkless. But I totally see now that OFA will probably be transferred to a few individuals in the finale of the series due to the way the stock piling quirk allowed other quirks to become much stronger. Maybe the reason All Might took serious damage in the one fight wasn't just simply AFO being stronger but because All Might had the quirk for so long his body wasn't able to handle it anymore. But dur to how long he had the quirk it allowed the other quirks to evolve and adapt more meaning potentially the transfer quirk had time to manifest the ability to transfer to more than one user even if temporary hence why All Might was still able to use it for so long even after he passed the torch. I also like the idea that how Deku beats AFO is by passing OFA to his class mates and other heroes who then pass it back to him so he now has their abilities and they have his even if it's for just the last fight. It would be an epic way to smash AFO who for the longest time thought by having all the power for himself meant he was the strongest but truly sharing your power is what made you stronger.. United States of Smash 1,000,000%.
I mean... Deku has shared it with bakugo once it's very likely it'll happen again. I actually have a couple of scenarios that I think might play out in the end.. 1 of them is deku is getting his ass whooped by himself but then he pulls a billy batson (Shazam) and shares OFA with all his class mates and they all jump shiga and AFO. That's 1 scenario I think could happen lol
I'd say the example of heroes rising doesn't really stand here because there was another instance of the quirk being passed on with the original user still being able to use it for a while in All Might. All Might passed his quirk on to Midoriya but was still able to keep up his hero work for a decent while with the embers left inside him. This would mean that passing on the quirk doesn't immediately render the original user quirkless. As for the quirk returning to Midoriya, it has already been shown that the quirk has a consciousness of its own in the vestiges of the pervious users. It is even stated in the movie that the quirk itself chose to stay within Midoriya. All that and the fact that passing on OFA without limits (being able to keep the quirk after transfer) would completely destroy society. Not only is the quirk too powerful for the average person to handle, with the vestiges telling Midoriya that he will be the last user of OFA due to the compatibility and stored power, the multiple users of OFA would create way too much destruction. It would be the third coming of AFO in terms of the destruction that would be caused.
Ngl, just the way All Might made OFA his own quirk, I see Deku doing something like that, maybe not even a whole quirk but mixing and using all the quirks in just the right way for something completely new to be created, and not using them together like he has against Shigaraki, but on a more complex level
They should make a movie about all the OFA users. Explaining and seeing their day to day lifes would be so good to see. And ofcourse, the way how they get killed by AFO.
logically speaking all the quirks are very meh on their own. Right now I feel like quirks such as smokescreen,danger sense ,float help deku from various situations and they are amazing too but the ones that truly make him a god are the one for all itself (insane strength,speed, durability) and gear shift. oh and fajin helps too.
I was thinking the same. Really only a couple of the quirks even with OFA seem amazing.. I'm not saying others are bad but compared to other quirks such as... Stars n stripes quirk, the rewind time quirk AFO has now, shiga's decay quirk I mean it goes on.. imagine if OFA deku had 1 or several of the quirks I mentioned.. pshhh this shit would be over quick as hell 😂
We have seen the stockpiling quirk amp up another to the point where it's almost unrecognizable so I believe it's not too much of a stretch to say that the first quirk has been amped up to the point of a temporary transference
I still think All Might has a quirk. Similar to the first user who thought he didnt have one until OFA was given to him and he learned his quirk was transfer. All Mights quirk is his body transformation that allows him to manipulate great strength, but never granted him the strength to utilize it. When he got OFA he had the necessary ingredient to utilize his quirk. The vestiges only come to a user with no quirk as that user is the only one who can use all of the quirks stored inside. I think All Might is going to die and become a vestige which will allow Deku to use his bulk up quirk and even amplify it somehow.
I think the film theorist theorized about all might having a quirk like this and honestly makes a lot of sense though it is just speculation. Grain of salt will be needed
This is not the case, it tells you in the story. The reason All Might was able to have OFA for so long was because he was quirkless. Two of the previous users had quirks when they received OFA, & died “of old age” before 40 years old because the stress of having two quirks destroyed their body. This is not the case with All Might
I just thought on something. What if the Cluster move of Bakugo is him unconsiously using what little was left of One for All in him in the movie Heroes Raising to boost his Explosion quirk, but because the time he had it was so little no vestage nor his quirk were able to be added to One for All, but it'll explain why Bakugo could see the All Might vestage before his chest basically exploded.
So did All for One give his brother super strength in addition to the ability to stockpile? That was All Might’s main quirk but none of the previous users had that quirk. Did I miss something? And will Deku get Bakugo’s power?
I think The original owner had the quirk to give others quirks but didnt have another quirk on top of that to actually show he had, but since All might said he wasn’t able to use the other powers than the super strength one, I think his body wasn’t capable of handling all that just how it was barely able to handle his super strength quirk, thats just my theory on it
The transmission quirk would definitely be the most useful and dangerous in real life since bending the laws of physics like that, if used correctly, could be a major game changer. It would be so versatile
Honestly even though they are not being able defeat afo. Least their quirks are strong enough for deku use. Combination of study about quirk and ofa quirks who is growing stronger over years, deku able match tomurafo from both brawl and brain. I mean deku use black whip to travel, capture and attack in a way that spider man with web shooter. Use float, he can fly like Superman. Like you said danger sense is like spider sense, but more percentage of ofa he had the more powerful danger sense, it will be like haki. As for smokescreen, deku use it cover or escape, and I hope deku combine air force with smokescreen to create smoke blast or smoke grenade like infamous second son. Finally fa Jin and gear shift, both them are speed type quirk, one is build up kinetic energy and other can increase speed, and gear shift can also be support like imagine deku increase speed like car or speed hero like tenya to speed of sound and gain more kinetic energy. So deku is like mha own version sonic and flash. Deku has outshine and surpass all might in prime.
Ofcourse show have to be like next generation would stronger than previous generation. But I feel still prime allmight could defeat Shiggy with full quirk. Battle of deaths may be for him.

Horikoshi has said in interviews that the movies ARE canon. That means it is likely Deku will be able to use explosion at some point. Who knows if Horikoshi will go there, but it would be fricking awesome. Someone further down the comments also stated an interesting point; AFO was a wielder of OFA. Could that mean that Deku himself might be able to hand-off his own quirks at some point? He does have a lot of friends that have similar quirks. Of course, this is all speculation.
i like that the other quirks are based on utility. alone they are useful but combined with ofa they compliment they make deku more than a generic superspeed/strength quirk

I have a question. With the idea of quirks retaining the personalities of people to a slight degree is it possible that the stockpiling quirks original owner may pop up again? (this next bit is speculation and i am happy to learn as well so feel free to mention counters and ideas :3 ) I could sort of see AFO trying to steal the OFA quirk via connecting to that mindscape zone. And if the stockpiling quirk personality/soul is hiding in the OFA realm, it may be a sort of backdoor to getting the OFA from Deku maybe that AFO might exploit? It was always something that peaked my interest when the anime (and maybe the manga does not reflect this but i can not remember ) went over that AFO would be perplexed by the remnant voices of those he had taken quirks from. So it seems like a possible double edged sword. He could take the OFA quirk, but it ignites all the lingering personalities inside AFO again like what Stars and Stripes sort of was doing except they all get supercharged to beat him from inside.
Hmm that’s a good question, Honestly it doesn’t seem like there are any other vestiges besides the people who actually had one for all. So I don’t think we’re gonna see any vestige or influence from the person who had the stock piling quirk :/
my theory if lets say, deku was just left with the stockpile quirk then he would see the vestige of that user the reason that vestige isn’t reachable is because that person never had one for all at all, despite their quirk was instrumental in one for all’s creation one for all and the stockpile quirk have their own identities, and since yoichi and the other users only had the stockpiling ability after it merged with one for all they can’t reach the original user of the stockpile power because they never had just the stockpile ability if that made any sense
Something I still don't understand is where the primary strength quirk of One For All comes from - the way that Almight fights and the first quirk to manifest within Deku. All of the previous users had their own unique powers, and Almight was quirkless. Almight is unable to manifest the quirks of the previous users, so where does Almight's strength come from?
The strength comes from the stockpile quirk All For One gave to the first user which is part of One For All (stockpile quirk + quirk that can you can pass to others = OFA), once you have OFA you train the it (as AllMight says you cultivate it) and you pass it, the strenght you accumulate stays in the quirk and the next user accumulates some more and so on. Every user of OFA had enchanced strenght + their respective quirk, but the first users strenght wasn't that remarkable. So far in the manga it wasn't explained who was the original user of the stockpile quirk. In conclusion OFA can stockpile power but since Allmight was quirkless and the quirk hasn't awaken at the time he could only use the strenght accumulated from the previous users and add his own
@@chonathan5129 Okay do maybe I misinterpreted what the stockpile quirk was. I figured it was the ability to stockpile multiple quirks, but that's not why OFA has multiple quirks. It's because the quirk to pass on your quirk gets passed one to each person, passively "stockpiling" quirks. But I guess the Stockpile quirk that AFO's brother was given was actually the ability to do something along the lines of stockpile energy and then release it in an attack. Am I following now? Or... does the way the stockpile quirk work that each successive user of it stockpiles more and more power from the previous user? Because if it's the latter, it wouldn't make any sense why AFO would give that quirk... as it would be useless without knowing he could pass it on.
@@HorusDeathtouch Yes, OFA passively stockpiles quirks (it merges the quirk you already have with itself) but we didn't know this until black whip got accidently released and the 5th user told that to Deku, Allmight initially said OFA stockpiles "power" and since Allmight only used enhanced strenght I (and I assume a lot of other people thought) it mean just strenght and not power in a broader sense = stockpiles strenght + quirks or at least that's what the quirk turned into The stockpile quirk AFO gave to his brother initially allowed you to accumulate strenght so you can get strong by having it but as I said you have to train it (cultivate it) and that takes a long time, the 4th trained it for 18 years and Allmight trained it for 40 years. Apparently AFO wanted for his weak sickly brother to have a stronger body or something along those lines but it would make more sense to gave him a quirk that works immediatly instead. The quirk you thought OFA worked like already exist and belonged to the third user, it allows you to accumulate kinetic energy and liberate it all at once, it's a pretty good offensive quirk
The OFA's power consist principally on tranfer itself from an user to another, merging with their quirks and bringing them with it when passes to another person. The Accumulation Quirk that Yoichi received from his brother, made sure to increase the powers of these other quirks...
What's crazy is that the very same AFO that reversed to prime that decimates them right now was the same one that All Might took on using only the OFA physical enhancement effect. Note that this same AFO who is reversed probably doesn't even have the same stack of quirks he had years ago.
So another theory here so we know that one for all is a combination of two quirks. And we also know that with the introduction of other quirks within the core and how the other two fused with the quirks and created a new quirk which is just a better version than the original. Multiplying the power. And recently we have seen deku combining black which and Fujin. This shows how eventually they all will combine into a super quirk.

At 28:23 there is a user that has not shown his power as yet. He is in the full yellow glow in the image with all the users... So in total i think if deku is the 9th user, the actual orginal does not count himself as a user.... Even in the manga I was thinking maybe that quirk is going to be a show stopper
The first movie is tied into the series. If you watch the after credits scene at the end of season 2 or 3. All Might asks Deku if he wants to go to I-island.
There is a big plot point that is being missed by the movie that could change the game so much in the main plot ... what if Deku gave one for all to other users, trained them in it then they give it back to him, taking a piece of their quirks back with it. So he could gain more quirks to use and more power. Imagine if all his classmates helped him in this?
I get the feeling that if he combined fa jin and transmission to one for all to fire an air force he may very well have either a piercing air round or a flame projectile since that sheer force and speed could ignite the air from air force.
And yet, even with all those powers, Deku isnt invulnerable. While hed be very difficult to fight, theoretically ANY body who has the battle sense to outmanuver him could inflict enough damage to knock him out, in addition to his own quirks being super tricky to use without self injury. Which makes his first semester at UA so important. The first thing he learned, EVEN BEFORE CONTROL, was how to endure RIDICULOUS amounts of PAIN.
Was Deku the only one who was able to use the past quirks of OFA? Been wondering this for a while, it definitely seems like it, but just wanted to see what y’all thought?
Yes, In the story the other quirks weren't accessible until One for All became strong enough to break out of its shell inside the stockpile/inheritance quirk.
I know that it is stablished that All Might have no Quirk before he was given the One For All, but why does he have an ability to transform to his buff mode at will? Some might say that it was his original physique and became skinny Almight because of his injury, but why can he transform back? We now know all the power of the past OFA users, and there's no quirk that can cause this transformation...
I used to think that was his quirk, and it wasn't identifiable because it was useless without that massive power boost. But the series basically confirms he was quirkless. And we've seen his original body while training against Gran Torino, it's no where near as buff. My guess is the shape we see him in now is due to his injury, but pre injury he was much more fit (not huge like he shows himself as a hero) and just focuses 100% power into his body to increase his muscle size plus taking in a ton of air to maintain it with oxygen. He was said to be a natural with OFA quirk immediately using it at full capacity throughout his body. Deku had to unlock it step by step, and originally only focused his total power on parts of his body rather than evenly distributing it. He probably mastered his muscles as well since he's a natural with the base OFA quirk.
I feel like even with all the OP and flashy quirks. I'd want some kind of lie detector quirk. The ability to know if your lying or if you have bad intentions. That'd be nice.
Considering everything about fa-gin we can actually consider deku's 1 million percent to actually be 1 million percent as that was almost definitely his first use of fa-gin even if it was unconscious use of it we already know that the vestiges could influence Deku in certain ways so this was most likely another time where they helped him out
@@spaceowl9246 I mean if you think about it Deku had built up so much kinetic energy from everything he did in daily life afterwards it's quite probable that he used fa-gin unconsciously. I mean it really looks like a explosion blew off musculars muscles from Deku's arm when he was holding that final attack back so I'm saying it's probable that it wasn't just a false 1 million percent but something close to that.
If Deku can change the speed at which atoms move, wouldn’t that make him able to freeze and ignite things as well. This is because heat is determined by how fast the atoms of an object are moving. So, if he can change how fast the atoms of an object are moving, he can speed them up or stop them entirely, effectively burning of freezing them
Gear Shift, FaJin, or Black whip would be a quirk I would like to have because I could use them to get from one place to another quickly and I could fend off any assault form attackers.
So if one for all stores a person's quirk and carries it on the the next person, wouldn't that essentially mean that when deku shared it with bakugo and kept it that he now has bakugo's quirk "explosion" also stored within him now?.? 🤔 hmmm
What if the reason they are trying to keep Bakugo alive is because some how Deku is gonna transfer one for all to him. Then some how Edgeshot n Bakugo quirk will merge with it and that's how they beat Toga
they already did that in the movie, and horikoshi said the movie utilized one of his idea's for the ending, so obviously he's not gonna give it to bakugo.
I still believe that All-Might & Deku actually do have quirks - All-Might's just happens to be useless otherwise (balloon quirk - allows the user's body to puff up. Hence why even after using up One for All, All-Might has remained able to enter his 'Hero Form' for a handful of seconds), while Deku's was stolen when he was a child (with said quirk being Regeneration; hence why Deku is by nature reckless with his body). Both would allow OFA to be used by anyone in the future (body will be able to handle the power without exploding thanks to All-Might's, while Deku's will prevent the rapid breakdown from having a preexisting quirk). Whether or not this will be proven as fact (or even come up at this point in the story) is up for debate either way though.
That would be cool but It’s a major point in the story that Quirkless individuals are needed to use OFA to its fullest potential. Even if they have pointless quirks there quirk factor would still be filled and wouldn’t allow All-Might and Deku to use OFA as well as they did. BUT what I was thinking was maybe Deku had a Quirk but AFO and the doctor took it from him. Maybe some of the reported “Quirkless” People where people that had there quirks taken as baby’s or small children due to OFA taking the quirks from random baby’s to increase his chances of getting OP quirks in a much easier way. It would be Crazy if OFA is defeated By the fact he gave deku the chance to use OFA to its fullest potential by making him Quirkless

@@shemarldongo5555 The thing is, it was already mentioned by the Deku's old guy mentor (Gran Turismo I think his name was? Small old guy with the yellow cape) that All-Might had a unique body (despite flashbacks showing him with the same body type of Deku). And even without OFA he can still puff up (as shown after the AFO fight where he went and apologized to Deku's mother). If he never had a quirk, he wouldn't be able to buff up at all after he burnt out the last few embers of OFA.

It's also been a major plot point that basically no one fully understands how quirks work, what indicates a quirk, or what any of them are fully capable of (hell, the origin of OFA is everyone mistaking the Transference quirk user being a quirkless person).
A quick thought about why OFA came back to deku after sharing it with Bakugo: The Quirk NEEDS an originally quirkless individual to use it properly now and since Bakugo most certainly DOES have a quirk already OFA rejected him as a new host, but if say Melissa from the other movie who WAS quirkless was in a similar spot, well things MAY have been different.
no, the reason bakugo didnt get OFA was because bakugo was non conscious after the battle. in order for the transfer to complete, the person whos getting OFA has to be conscious or else it returns to the previous one. and also they dont have to be quirkless, all previous users of OFA all had quirks except all might and deku
I never thought I’d see the day when having a danger-sensing power wouldn’t consider affection a threat. Even though clearly, we’re dealing with a Harley Quinn type of person who intends to inflict harm on someone. But since it's technically love and affection it doesn't consider that a threat.
Nine from Heroes Rising actually proved One For All was stealable with his knock off AFO quitk, he just only had a body built to hold 9 quirks hence the name. It's actually the foreshadowing we get of each OFA user possessing their own quirk being also infused into OFA. Nine simply couldn't steal all 7/8 quirks within it.
All of them quirks but One for All missed one really important quirks that is Rapid Regeneration, Deku body won't hold up for long and he probably will search for his new successor after his battle end

I like that the OFA quirks are actually not the kinds you'd see for a main character. Deku could have fire powers, lazer eyes, magic abilities and stuffs like that. Instead he got Smokescreen, Float and Gear Shift, that are underwhelming at first but thanks to OFA the powerup makes them really interesting. He kinda has Spider-man like abilities with Black Whip and Danger Sense but that's about it.

Alright there is a way how the Bakugo Timetravel Theory could still work and it would make the movie canon. And yes this one has probably tons of flaws (specially because i didnt watched the movie in question and just know about it from others) but it is more for fun so dont take it to serious. 1. Bakugo by yet unknown means gets send back in the past 2. Bakugo realises where he is and decides to avoid all the suffering in the future he would do anything to stop AfO right here and now, thus creating the resistance. 3. He doesnt know about the Users in Deku so he doesnt know that AfO Brother is opposing him. He just sees a opportunity to take a Hostage or at least give AfO a mental blow. When he enters the prison with the 3rd user and realizes that Yoichi is a far more valuable ally than enemy he rescues him and Bakugo tells Yoichi what he knows about the new quirk in Yoichi. 4. They than get the idea to transfer OfA to Bakugo to keep it safe incase that Yoichi is captured - which is what happens. But since Bakugo expierenced OfA once before his body reacts far stronger to the Quirk than in other cases we know and Explosion merges with OfA to create a complettly new Quick - Gear Shift. Instead of using Explosions directly he is able to convert the explosiv power directly intp speed and after a bit of learning is even able to reverse it by slowing objects down. It is still new and underdevelopt which is why Bakugo dies shortly after in an attempt to bring AfO down. From there on the timeline continues as we know it. I like the idea of a dark future Bakugo that tells storys of the future horror where AfO has found a successor and than fights in the resistance.
so deku has a quirk that builds up energy to give him super strength and super speed while already having a super strength quirk. plus he’s basically spider-man
"What super power would you want?" is always an interesting question. In a world where they don't exist I'm not sure I would want any of them if I'm being honest. It would just put a target on your back. And on the flip side in a world where they are everywhere again if I'm being honest I would want All For One. Or at least the type or it shown in Heroes that Peter Petrellie had early on where he could copy a power use it and keep ALL powers he came into contact with. It was a shame when they gimped him to only being able to hold one power at a time. A bit of an interesting twist could have been to let him use a catalyst to activate a power like a hair OR a bit more fun a tooth I could see myself wearing necklace of teeth from people who had a power I wanted to use and all I needed to do was touch the appropriate tooth and activate my power to use the power within the catalyst.
29:50 Well yes, but actually no. The previous users do believe that Deku is the destined one, and can help influence what OFA does. All-Might himself outright tells us that Bakugo didn't keep it because he passed out before his body was and to completely process and accept OFA.
Something I don't understand is how did the first user know how to transfer OFA before he died let alone how did he know there was something to begin with

I understand OFA and the user's quirks needing time to develop until the can be used. But nana was the last one to have a quirk that combined in OFA. Toshi didn't have a quirk so why was he unable to use the 8 quirks? If all might had this for 40 years, this wasnt long enough for it to progress. Izuku doesn't have a quirk either. I kinda think OFA quirk needs a certain number of user's to become what it is. That's the only possibility I can see. Either way I don't care for "Plot Holes" or "deus ex machina " it's a fictional story. I dont know why people care so much. I want a story to create a bond with, and if the power system is a bit off I dont care so much

I wonder if the writer is going off of marvel mutant logic. Whereas Havok and Cyclops powers don't work against eachother. That's why AFO can't take OFA's power, but in Shigaraki's body he can bypass the genetic limitations.

All of those physics that GearShift ignores are the very physics that feed FaJin. Wouldn't those still feed FaJin and OFA, magnified by GearShift, creating a loop of exponentially increasing stockpiled power? Basically, the more they are used together, the more powerful they become without a known limit! This could trigger the OFA awakening into an ultimate quirk! More of my crazy theories again.

on the note of Bakugo not inheriting: The transfer process requires the recipient to be conscious for the duration of the process. With Bakugo falling asleep before the process was completed, the quirk had to return to Deku.
Actually it is as hinted that the quirk decided not to transfer. Because it's conscious, just how it can't be stolen, the minds inside the quirk basically transferred into bakugo but returned to deku after the fight was over. Basically a temporary transfer. Rather than them passing out . Because the transfer is instant not a over time process
My only issue with that is when All Might transferred the quirk to Deku he said it took like an hour or 2 to kick in. When Bakugo got it the effect was immediate
If you notice in the manga, AFO is shown to be crying as he chokes the second user to death in a flashback. In that particular panel, the 2nd user’s face looks VERY similar to AFO’s face, but younger…. It’s possible that the 2nd user is AFO’s son

I hope when BONES animates the current Shigaraki vs Deku fight they use sounds reminiscent to those found in FireForce. Deku’s gearshifts and punches have to sound incredible.

Just saying this once again since we saw Black Chain:
Deku might learn how to use all his quirks in a Full Cowling style, such as Blackwhip Full Cowling which turns the Blackwhip mass into a suit like Venom, or ReDestro's Stress Quirk. Or Smokescreen Full Cowling to turn INTO smoke, making him impossible to harm, and a limiting factor might be like Mirio not being able to breathe or see when he's Permeating. Or even something like Danger Sense Full Cowling to get Ultra Instinct, or Fa Jon Full Cowling to effectively go Super Saiyan. We could also see something like a combo of Smokescreen and Danger Sense so he can cover a wide area and feel someone's killing intent anywhere in the smoke, or a combo of Fa Jon and Gear Shift to keep stacking momentum, and combing THAT with Float so he has full control over even the most minute of movements.
I really like this idea, if the series ever continues after shigaraki is defeated, I would definitely see this happening

I definitely believe in the possibility of the smoke screen danger sense idea because we've already seen that in mustard's Quirk at the summer camp invasion arc and therefore that who has an actual frame of reference for that event happening and using that since he tends to model his move specifically after other Supers
I think the limitation of having a physical body would make it so that he can't turn it into smoke cuz even full cowling is just essentially coating his body in base one for all, I don't know if he would be able to reform his body after separating it again because there's a lot of complicated biological shit that has to do with Quirk usage that only gets bypassed if you have a body that evolved to support your quirk or you end up like Dabi, hurting yourself

What if the original transfer quirk was made stronger by mixing with the stockpile quirk by giving the user the ability to share the quirk with another person without having to transfer it? Little far fetched but heros rising (I think) may have been foreshadowing and gives a very good reason to keep Bakugo alive.

Tbh I can see the transfer quirk being able to transfer to multiple users. The main quirk here is ONE FOR ALL. A power for all. It would make perfect sense that the doomsday theory was correct but not about how it would happen not just over the course of generations but through a world changing event. Suddenly nobody would be quirkless. But I totally see now that OFA will probably be transferred to a few individuals in the finale of the series due to the way the stock piling quirk allowed other quirks to become much stronger. Maybe the reason All Might took serious damage in the one fight wasn't just simply AFO being stronger but because All Might had the quirk for so long his body wasn't able to handle it anymore. But dur to how long he had the quirk it allowed the other quirks to evolve and adapt more meaning potentially the transfer quirk had time to manifest the ability to transfer to more than one user even if temporary hence why All Might was still able to use it for so long even after he passed the torch. I also like the idea that how Deku beats AFO is by passing OFA to his class mates and other heroes who then pass it back to him so he now has their abilities and they have his even if it's for just the last fight. It would be an epic way to smash AFO who for the longest time thought by having all the power for himself meant he was the strongest but truly sharing your power is what made you stronger.. United States of Smash 1,000,000%.
I mean... Deku has shared it with bakugo once it's very likely it'll happen again. I actually have a couple of scenarios that I think might play out in the end.. 1 of them is deku is getting his ass whooped by himself but then he pulls a billy batson (Shazam) and shares OFA with all his class mates and they all jump shiga and AFO. That's 1 scenario I think could happen lol
I'd say the example of heroes rising doesn't really stand here because there was another instance of the quirk being passed on with the original user still being able to use it for a while in All Might.
All Might passed his quirk on to Midoriya but was still able to keep up his hero work for a decent while with the embers left inside him. This would mean that passing on the quirk doesn't immediately render the original user quirkless.
As for the quirk returning to Midoriya, it has already been shown that the quirk has a consciousness of its own in the vestiges of the pervious users. It is even stated in the movie that the quirk itself chose to stay within Midoriya.
All that and the fact that passing on OFA without limits (being able to keep the quirk after transfer) would completely destroy society. Not only is the quirk too powerful for the average person to handle, with the vestiges telling Midoriya that he will be the last user of OFA due to the compatibility and stored power, the multiple users of OFA would create way too much destruction. It would be the third coming of AFO in terms of the destruction that would be caused.
Ngl, just the way All Might made OFA his own quirk, I see Deku doing something like that, maybe not even a whole quirk but mixing and using all the quirks in just the right way for something completely new to be created, and not using them together like he has against Shigaraki, but on a more complex level
They should make a movie about all the OFA users. Explaining and seeing their day to day lifes would be so good to see. And ofcourse, the way how they get killed by AFO.

Right now I feel like quirks such as smokescreen,danger sense ,float help deku from various situations and they are amazing too but the ones that truly make him a god are the one for all itself (insane strength,speed, durability) and gear shift.

We have seen the stockpiling quirk amp up another to the point where it's almost unrecognizable so I believe it's not too much of a stretch to say that the first quirk has been amped up to the point of a temporary transference
I still think All Might has a quirk. Similar to the first user who thought he didnt have one until OFA was given to him and he learned his quirk was transfer. All Mights quirk is his body transformation that allows him to manipulate great strength, but never granted him the strength to utilize it. When he got OFA he had the necessary ingredient to utilize his quirk. The vestiges only come to a user with no quirk as that user is the only one who can use all of the quirks stored inside. I think All Might is going to die and become a vestige which will allow Deku to use his bulk up quirk and even amplify it somehow.

This is not the case, it tells you in the story. The reason All Might was able to have OFA for so long was because he was quirkless. Two of the previous users had quirks when they received OFA, & died “of old age” before 40 years old because the stress of having two quirks destroyed their body. This is not the case with All Might
This kind of goes against the theory that users with a quirk prior to OFA don’t last long, given AM had it for 40+ years before transfer

What if the Cluster move of Bakugo is him unconsiously using what little was left of One for All in him in the movie Heroes Raising to boost his Explosion quirk, but because the time he had it was so little no vestage nor his quirk were able to be added to One for All, but it'll explain why Bakugo could see the All Might vestage before his chest basically exploded.

Honestly even though they are not being able defeat afo. Least their quirks are strong enough for deku use. Combination of study about quirk and ofa quirks who is growing stronger over years, deku able match tomurafo from both brawl and brain.

Like you said danger sense is like spider sense, but more percentage of ofa he had the more powerful danger sense, it will be like haki.
As for smokescreen, deku use it cover or escape, and I hope deku combine air force with smokescreen to create smoke blast or smoke grenade like infamous second son.
Finally fa Jin and gear shift, both them are speed type quirk, one is build up kinetic energy and other can increase speed, and gear shift can also be support like imagine deku increase speed like car or speed hero like tenya to speed of sound and gain more kinetic energy. So deku is like mha own version sonic and flash.
Deku has outshine and surpass all might in prime.
Ofcourse show have to be like next generation would stronger than previous generation.

Horikoshi has said in interviews that the movies ARE canon. That means it is likely Deku will be able to use explosion at some point. Who knows if Horikoshi will go there, but it would be fricking awesome. Someone further down the comments also stated an interesting point; AFO was a wielder of OFA. Could that mean that Deku himself might be able to hand-off his own quirks at some point? He does have a lot of friends that have similar quirks. Of course, this is all speculation.
I don't think he will do that.. if it happens it will be a huge let down for Bakugo.

I could sort of see AFO trying to steal the OFA quirk via connecting to that mindscape zone. And if the stockpiling quirk personality/soul is hiding in the OFA realm, it may be a sort of backdoor to getting the OFA from Deku maybe that AFO might exploit?
It was always something that peaked my interest when the anime (and maybe the manga does not reflect this but i can not remember ) went over that AFO would be perplexed by the remnant voices of those he had taken quirks from. So it seems like a possible double edged sword. He could take the OFA quirk, but it ignites all the lingering personalities inside AFO again like what Stars and Stripes sort of was doing except they all get supercharged to beat him from inside.

A lost vestige inside OFA would be the best plot twist for AFO final stand
I think the vestiges are due to the transfer quirk that AFO's brother had. Makes sense since the quirk AFO seems to have its own version of vestiges.
Something I still don't understand is where the primary strength quirk of One For All comes from - the way that Almight fights and the first quirk to manifest within Deku. All of the previous users had their own unique powers, and Almight was quirkless. Almight is unable to manifest the quirks of the previous users, so where does Almight's strength come from?
The strength comes from the stockpile quirk All For One gave to the first user which is part of One For All (stockpile quirk + quirk that can you can pass to others = OFA), once you have OFA you train the it (as AllMight says you cultivate it) and you pass it, the strenght you accumulate stays in the quirk and the next user accumulates some more and so on. Every user of OFA had enchanced strenght + their respective quirk, but the first users strenght wasn't that remarkable. So far in the manga it wasn't explained who was the original user of the stockpile quirk. In conclusion OFA can stockpile power but since Allmight was quirkless and the quirk hasn't awaken at the time he could only use the strenght accumulated from the previous users and add his own

It's because the quirk to pass on your quirk gets passed one to each person, passively "stockpiling" quirks. But I guess the Stockpile quirk that AFO's brother was given was actually the ability to do something along the lines of stockpile energy and then release it in an attack. Am I following now?

@@HorusDeathtouch Yes, OFA passively stockpiles quirks (it merges the quirk you already have with itself) but we didn't know this until black whip got accidently released and the 5th user told that to Deku, Allmight initially said OFA stockpiles "power" and since Allmight only used enhanced strenght I (and I assume a lot of other people thought) it mean just strenght and not power in a broader sense = stockpiles strenght + quirks or at least that's what the quirk turned into
The stockpile quirk AFO gave to his brother initially allowed you to accumulate strenght so you can get strong by having it but as I said you have to train it (cultivate it) and that takes a long time, the 4th trained it for 18 years and Allmight trained it for 40 years. Apparently AFO wanted for his weak sickly brother to have a stronger body or something along those lines but it would make more sense to gave him a quirk that works immediatly instead. The quirk you thought OFA worked like already exist and belonged to the third user, it allows you to accumulate kinetic energy and liberate it all at once, it's a pretty good offensive quirk

The OFA's power consist principally on tranfer itself from an user to another, merging with their quirks and bringing them with it when passes to another person. The Accumulation Quirk that Yoichi received from his brother, made sure to increase the powers of these other quirks...

2nd user of one for all is by far my favorite of em all, he was a demon and despite his quirk was dat weak he still gave AFO a run for his money
What's crazy is that the very same AFO that reversed to prime that decimates them right now was the same one that All Might took on using only the OFA physical enhancement effect. Note that this same AFO who is reversed probably doesn't even have the same stack of quirks he had years ago.

So another theory here so we know that one for all is a combination of two quirks. And we also know that with the introduction of other quirks within the core and how the other two fused with the quirks and created a new quirk which is just a better version than the original. Multiplying the power. And recently we have seen deku combining black which and Fujin. This shows how eventually they all will combine into a super quirk.
I really Believe that if Izuku used Float, Fa Jin, Transmission and 100% Full Cowling he could theoretically go faster than the speed of light.

At 28:23 there is a user that has not shown his power as yet. He is in the full yellow glow in the image with all the users... So in total i think if deku is the 9th user, the actual orginal does not count himself as a user.... Even in the manga I was thinking maybe that quirk is going to be a show stopper
That’s part of All-Might’s consciousness. It’s explained somewhere in the manga, but the anime might not have gotten there yet.
The first movie is tied into the series. If you watch the after credits scene at the end of season 2 or 3. All Might asks Deku if he wants to go to I-island.
All Might in the movie said that they lost consciousness before the transfer finished and that’s why Deku retained it

There is a big plot point that is being missed by the movie that could change the game so much in the main plot ... what if Deku gave one for all to other users, trained them in it then they give it back to him, taking a piece of their quirks back with it. So he could gain more quirks to use and more power. Imagine if all his classmates helped him in this?
I get the feeling that if he combined fa jin and transmission to one for all to fire an air force he may very well have either a piercing air round or a flame projectile since that sheer force and speed could ignite the air from air force.

And yet, even with all those powers, Deku isnt invulnerable. While hed be very difficult to fight, theoretically ANY body who has the battle sense to outmanuver him could inflict enough damage to knock him out, in addition to his own quirks being super tricky to use without self injury. Which makes his first semester at UA so important. The first thing he learned, EVEN BEFORE CONTROL, was how to endure RIDICULOUS amounts of PAIN.

Yes, In the story the other quirks weren't accessible until One for All became strong enough to break out of its shell inside the stockpile/inheritance quirk.

I know that it is stablished that All Might have no Quirk before he was given the One For All, but why does he have an ability to transform to his buff mode at will? Some might say that it was his original physique and became skinny Almight because of his injury, but why can he transform back? We now know all the power of the past OFA users, and there's no quirk that can cause this transformation...
I used to think that was his quirk, and it wasn't identifiable because it was useless without that massive power boost. But the series basically confirms he was quirkless. And we've seen his original body while training against Gran Torino, it's no where near as buff. My guess is the shape we see him in now is due to his injury, but pre injury he was much more fit (not huge like he shows himself as a hero) and just focuses 100% power into his body to increase his muscle size plus taking in a ton of air to maintain it with oxygen. He was said to be a natural with OFA quirk immediately using it at full capacity throughout his body. Deku had to unlock it step by step, and originally only focused his total power on parts of his body rather than evenly distributing it. He probably mastered his muscles as well since he's a natural with the base OFA quirk.

I feel like even with all the OP and flashy quirks. I'd want some kind of lie detector quirk. The ability to know if your lying or if you have bad intentions. That'd be nice.
Considering everything about fa-gin we can actually consider deku's 1 million percent to actually be 1 million percent as that was almost definitely his first use of fa-gin even if it was unconscious use of it we already know that the vestiges could influence Deku in certain ways so this was most likely another time where they helped him out

This is because heat is determined by how fast the atoms of an object are moving.
So, if he can change how fast the atoms of an object are moving, he can speed them up or stop them entirely, effectively burning of freezing them

Gear Shift, FaJin, or Black whip would be a quirk I would like to have because I could use them to get from one place to another quickly and I could fend off any assault form attackers.

What if the reason they are trying to keep Bakugo alive is because some how Deku is gonna transfer one for all to him. Then some how Edgeshot n Bakugo quirk will merge with it and that's how they beat Toga
they already did that in the movie, and horikoshi said the movie utilized one of his idea's for the ending, so obviously he's not gonna give it to bakugo.
I still believe that All-Might & Deku actually do have quirks - All-Might's just happens to be useless otherwise (balloon quirk - allows the user's body to puff up. Hence why even after using up One for All, All-Might has remained able to enter his 'Hero Form' for a handful of seconds), while Deku's was stolen when he was a child (with said quirk being Regeneration; hence why Deku is by nature reckless with his body). Both would allow OFA to be used by anyone in the future (body will be able to handle the power without exploding thanks to All-Might's, while Deku's will prevent the rapid breakdown from having a preexisting quirk).
Whether or not this will be proven as fact (or even come up at this point in the story) is up for debate either way though.
That would be cool but It’s a major point in the story that Quirkless individuals are needed to use OFA to its fullest potential. Even if they have pointless quirks there quirk factor would still be filled and wouldn’t allow All-Might and Deku to use OFA as well as they did.
BUT what I was thinking was maybe Deku had a Quirk but AFO and the doctor took it from him. Maybe some of the reported “Quirkless” People where people that had there quirks taken as baby’s or small children due to OFA taking the quirks from random baby’s to increase his chances of getting OP quirks in a much easier way. It would be Crazy if OFA is defeated By the fact he gave deku the chance to use OFA to its fullest potential by making him Quirkless

The thing is, it was already mentioned by the Deku's old guy mentor (Gran Turismo I think his name was? Small old guy with the yellow cape) that All-Might had a unique body (despite flashbacks showing him with the same body type of Deku). And even without OFA he can still puff up (as shown after the AFO fight where he went and apologized to Deku's mother). If he never had a quirk, he wouldn't be able to buff up at all after he burnt out the last few embers of OFA.

It's a major plot point as a thory put by the vestiges. It's also been a major plot point that basically no one fully understands how quirks work, what indicates a quirk, or what any of them are fully capable of (hell, the origin of OFA is everyone mistaking the Transference quirk user being a quirkless person).
A quick thought about why OFA came back to deku after sharing it with Bakugo: The Quirk NEEDS an originally quirkless individual to use it properly now and since Bakugo most certainly DOES have a quirk already OFA rejected him as a new host, but if say Melissa from the other movie who WAS quirkless was in a similar spot, well things MAY have been different.
no, the reason bakugo didnt get OFA was because bakugo was non conscious after the battle. in order for the transfer to complete, the person whos getting OFA has to be conscious or else it returns to the previous one. and also they dont have to be quirkless, all previous users of OFA all had quirks except all might and deku

I never thought I’d see the day when having a danger-sensing power wouldn’t consider affection a threat. Even though clearly, we’re dealing with a Harley Quinn type of person who intends to inflict harm on someone. But since it's technically love and affection it doesn't consider that a threat.

Nine from Heroes Rising actually proved One For All was stealable with his knock off AFO quitk, he just only had a body built to hold 9 quirks hence the name. It's actually the foreshadowing we get of each OFA user possessing their own quirk being also infused into OFA. Nine simply couldn't steal all 7/8 quirks within it.
All of them quirks but One for All missed one really important quirks that is Rapid Regeneration, Deku body won't hold up for long and he probably will search for his new successor after his battle end

I like that the OFA quirks are actually not the kinds you'd see for a main character.
Deku could have fire powers, lazer eyes, magic abilities and stuffs like that. Instead he got Smokescreen, Float and Gear Shift, that are underwhelming at first but thanks to OFA the powerup makes them really interesting.
He kinda has Spider-man like abilities with Black Whip and Danger Sense but that's about it.

Alright there is a way how the Bakugo Timetravel Theory could still work and it would make the movie canon. And yes this one has probably tons of flaws (specially because i didnt watched the movie in question and just know about it from others) but it is more for fun so dont take it to serious.
1. Bakugo by yet unknown means gets send back in the past
2. Bakugo realises where he is and decides to avoid all the suffering in the future he would do anything to stop AfO right here and now, thus creating the resistance.
3. He doesnt know about the Users in Deku so he doesnt know that AfO Brother is opposing him. He just sees a opportunity to take a Hostage or at least give AfO a mental blow. When he enters the prison with the 3rd user and realizes that Yoichi is a far more valuable ally than enemy he rescues him and Bakugo tells Yoichi what he knows about the new quirk in Yoichi.
4. They than get the idea to transfer OfA to Bakugo to keep it safe incase that Yoichi is captured - which is what happens. But since Bakugo expierenced OfA once before his body reacts far stronger to the Quirk than in other cases we know and Explosion merges with OfA to create a complettly new Quick - Gear Shift. Instead of using Explosions directly he is able to convert the explosiv power directly intp speed and after a bit of learning is even able to reverse it by slowing objects down. It is still new and underdevelopt which is why Bakugo dies shortly after in an attempt to bring AfO down. From there on the timeline continues as we know it.
I like the idea of a dark future Bakugo that tells storys of the future horror where AfO has found a successor and than fights in the resistance.

so deku has a quirk that builds up energy to give him super strength and super speed while already having a super strength quirk. plus he’s basically spider-man
"What super power would you want?" is always an interesting question. In a world where they don't exist I'm not sure I would want any of them if I'm being honest. It would just put a target on your back. And on the flip side in a world where they are everywhere again if I'm being honest I would want All For One. Or at least the type or it shown in Heroes that Peter Petrellie had early on where he could copy a power use it and keep ALL powers he came into contact with. It was a shame when they gimped him to only being able to hold one power at a time. A bit of an interesting twist could have been to let him use a catalyst to activate a power like a hair OR a bit more fun a tooth I could see myself wearing necklace of teeth from people who had a power I wanted to use and all I needed to do was touch the appropriate tooth and activate my power to use the power within the catalyst.

The previous users do believe that Deku is the destined one, and can help influence what OFA does. All-Might himself outright tells us that Bakugo didn't keep it because he passed out before his body was and to completely process and accept OFA.

Something I don't understand is how did the first user know how to transfer OFA before he died let alone how did he know there was something to begin with

Who’s the fire dude we see in all the vestige flashbacks? I can’t seem to find any info on him and him and his quirk have never been mentioned.
I understand OFA and the user's quirks needing time to develop until the can be used. But nana was the last one to have a quirk that combined in OFA. Toshi didn't have a quirk so why was he unable to use the 8 quirks? If all might had this for 40 years, this wasnt long enough for it to progress. Izuku doesn't have a quirk either. I kinda think OFA quirk needs a certain number of user's to become what it is. That's the only possibility I can see. Either way I don't care for "Plot Holes" or "deus ex machina " it's a fictional story. I dont know why people care so much. I want a story to create a bond with, and if the power system is a bit off I dont care so much
