OH HELL YEAH! Finally someone does Running Wild, the most underrated band ever! Great video, thank you!
(although quick note, this isn't live, it's a music video).
R.I.P. Majk Moti who passed away last year.

I always loved RW...first heard of them when I was about 15/16, nearly 20 years ago, and never understood, why they didn´t get bigger...

@@CZed-uq4on Americans don't like promoting more Germans than they have to. And at that time they already had Scorpions and Accept.
Not to mention the pirate thing was unfortunately not as "cool" as it was before POTC

@@MetalPersonJ bullshit conspiracy theory. and the pirate thing was like many themes all the time popular with sometimes lower, sometimes higher waves/phases. that you have a limited knowledge, doesnt change this. Vampires are also a good example. They also had up (masses of it with a few representative for their time) and down phases - but were all the time a thing.

Never heard this song, but I liked it. He had great vocals and the band was great. Hope to hear more of them. Gonna have to introduce you to "Scorpions" next. They are also a German band of the hard rock genre. Great video, and as always, great reaction.😊
P.S. So happy to get an Aaliyah reaction on my B-Day. Great gift😊

I had never heard of Running Wild until back in the Audiogalaxy days I was looking for a Victory song called Running Wild but I instead downloaded the Running Wild song called Victory. Never would have heard of them if it wasn't for that mistake.

all boring like hell for most people/reactors (even if most react polite/nice). such bands are only interesting for special niches. dont you reflect that?

Running Wild took their name from a Judas Priest song... Venom was an early influence w/ their satanic imagery and Running Wild released 2 thrash metal albums - 'Gates to Purgatory' (1984) and 'Branded and Exiled' (1985)
The metal scene in West Germany by the mid-80's produced a plethora of bands like - Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Tankard, Helloween, Grave Digger, etc... and so, Running Wild attempted to differentiate themselves from the other bands by adopting a 'pirate metal' theme w/ their 3rd album 'Under Jolly Roger' in 1987... followed by 'Port Royal' in 1988 and continued in that direction for their career.
Running Wild inspired other pirate metal bands like - Blackguard... Alestorm... Swashbuckle ... etc.
'Bad to the bone' was from their most successful 5th album 'Death or glory' in 1989, the Running Wild line-up featuring Rolf Kasparak (vocals/ guitar), Majk Moti (guitar), Iain Finlay (drums) and Jens Becker (bass)... However, both Moti and Finlay quit the band after the tour.
In 2023, Michael Kupper aka Majk Moti (former Running Wild guitarist) passed away at age 65.
Although starting well in the 90's w/ 6th album 'Blazon Stone' in 1991... the decade proved hostile to 80's metal bands and Running Wild saw record sales decline as Rolf Kasparak remained the sole original band member, releasing albums like 'Pile of skulls' (1992) and 'Black Hand Inn' (1994)... After a series of albums and tours, Running Wild announced they were disbanding in 2009.
In 2011, Running Wild reformed and released a new album 'Shadowmaker' in 2012... their 16th album 'Blood on blood' was released in 2021 and Running Wild are working on a new record for 2025... the current line-up being: Rolf Kasparak (vocals/ guitar), Peter Jordan (guitar), Ole Hempelmann (bass), and Micahel Wolpers (drums)
Other Running Wild songs - 'Mordor' ... 'Conquistadores' ... 'Riding the storm' ... 'Pile of skulls'... 🤘🤘

Checking out Manowar (the kings of metal) is a must. The singer Eric Adams "the golden voice" is the best singer in the world ever existed but you will need to check some different songs from them, including cover of Nessun Dorma. Battle Hymn song live 2005 with past members as guests is probably the best start for Manowar. Also Gates of Valhalla. They are formed in 1980 in NYC and are considered the pioneers of power/epic/viking metal sub-genres and basically have influenced hundreds of bands.

Running Wild, and especially this album, was one of the bands that influenced my music fandom ! Sadly they didn`t evolve much, unlike bands like Blind Guardian that reivented their style constantly. But Rockin Rolf and Running Wild will always be in good memory for me!

This band is the closest sounding German power metal band to Metallica, especially Rolf Kasparek's vocal style (Rock N' Rolf, reminds me of a more angry James Hetfield with a German accent). Imagine James Hetfield and Rolf doing a collab together, their vocals would fit like a puzzle lol. 2:25

I have an interesting recommendation... try the band Manowar. I suggest start with Warriors of the World. If you like Eric's voice enough for a second listen, he does a surprisingly good rendition of Nessun Dorma.
Thanks for the react to Running Wild. Wish they would have been given more of a chance here in the States.

left wing/socialist suck and are not just antisemitic/antizionist (just like national SOCIALIST which also were left wing even if ppl try to deny that) but created with islam most of the dictator ships on the planet. and they are anti-liberal as well (plus esoteric anticapitalist pseudo economic understanding). apropos: 'right wing' doesnt exist as ideology, thats a left wing projection (in the tradition of the french revolution/old french national assembly). thats also pseudo science even if most people are used to that sorting (which shows that most are easy to manipulate, not that this is logic. one can easily test this: the hamas and taliban for instance are national (in difference to the IS for instance), homophobic, antisemitic/antizionist (like all relevant muslim countries/movements), anti-liberal, female oppressing (basically a form of slavery) and represent a special 'ethnics' which usually left wing in their own racist mind (racism is btw. a 'sorting' from the past. since there are no races, everyone is a racist who racifys a context - most also dont get this) should consider as racists and 'right wing'. are they doing that? no, which shows that it has nothting to do with science or a proper definition, its just the continuation of antiwestern (therefor also antiwhite and antisoutheast asian, because both perform good), antiliberal propaganda from the classic socialist dicatorships and parties (exactly the same sound as hitler/nsdap had, and stalin, mao etc.)
