Kendrick was 9 when Pac died. He took an old interview from Pac and edited it to match his own questions, which helps fit the overall concept of the album.
When I heard this for the very first time, it sent the biggest chills down my spine when I heard Pac’s voice! I was like “BUT HOW!?!??”

This Tupac interview was done in Germany and this random German person had it. Kendrick tracked them down, and met them and got it from them. Amazing story and amazing way he pieced it together. Genius
As a South African listening to him talk about Nelson, hits hard because when release went to prison, his wife left him, the character he came back with was different.

Wonderful job. This song is so brave on so many levels, and for Kendrick to absolutely come down on a distinct, clear side goes to show what loyalty truly means. Especially with MJ -- "People always told me, be careful what you do, don't run around breaking young's girls hearts... And mother always told me be careful of who you love, be careful what you do, cause the lies become the truth"... I mean, is you still a fan?
My favorite kendrick song
that was tupac he was talking to. he mixed questions that relate to this day and age and mixed in what tupac said in the 90's on those topics in interviews! rip pac
also if you see this you should do something on 2pac , very introspective thought provoking individual
This album is just something else and will be remembered as a solidified classic regardless of genre.
