Hi Colin. I am happy to help you compare Assos Winter Bib Tights. We don't have a video comparing them at the moment, however I would be happy to chat with you and explain the differences. Please feel free to contact me at the shop at 801-364-0344 or send me an email at cody@contenderbicycles.com. You can also leave a comment and I will get right back to you! Thanks!
Hi Jorin. I do think the Assos T.milleShorts are a great option for 4 hour bike rides. If you see yourself doing longer rides or more consistent 4 hour rides, the Assos T.cento_s7 would be our pick due to the added padding in the insert. If you have other questions please leave us a comment or contact me at cody@contenderbicycles.com. Thanks for watching!
Jose, I would use Assos' reference guide for sizing. Their size guide is pretty darn good for figuring out what size you need, especially if you haven't use any other brand's bib shorts as a reference point.
Still own a few Assos items up to 20 years old which are all still made in Switzerland. Their short from back then were amazing, of course they did not last as long. Assos has always been expensive but they also were corrspondingly better. Now they are good but hopelessly overpriced (how is a 400 $ short four times better than a 100 $ short?) and their stuff is made in various cheap-labour Eastern European countries.
It is hard to call any item that is at the pinnacle of design a good value, and I doubt even Assos will say that a $400 short is three times better than their standard Mille GT bib.
@@alisonlittlefield3154 lol ok how do these compare to rapha pro bibs....i find the rapahs over 85 degrees do not breathe as well do these do well in super hot weather?
Alvin (5'6", 130 lbs) wears size S in rapha pro team. If you prefer the smaller size rapha then I would recommend the same size for Equipe RS. In regards to breathability, it depends on what model Rapha bibs you use. Pro Team Bibs breathe very well... Classic bibs are definitely a bit warmer. Feel free to send me an email with questions: alvin@contenderbicycles.com
@@ContenderBicycles i have the "pro team training bibs" and the Xs small fits like a glove im like 8 percent bodyfat year round.. but anyways....i guess how does a XS pro team training bibs fit compared to the s9 Xs....im hearing that the s9 legs are very tight even on skinny guys.. i tried the castelli free race aero way too tight and also cut too low base layer wont even fit

Sorry to hear that; everyone is different when it comes to bibs. Never heard of Flynx or Onda but they sound good!
