Her children and grandchildren have such a deep, loving and respectful connection with their amazing grandmother. They’re all so well-spoken and all heartbroken at the same time. I am almost thankful that Jimmy has dementia so that his heart doesn’t break right now. His family is clinging on to him as the last of their patriarchy and leader of the family. Luckily they were such fantastic parents and grandparents, their children will all have wonderful lives and have many special memories that last. Rosalyn sounded like she was a nurturing spirit yet a great spiritual force to be reckoned with. She saw good and hope in everyone and everything. For starting her foundation, they’ve saved millions and millions of lives. God bless the Carter family during this difficult time of such a tragic loss. May she continue to watch over them and keep Jimmy safe from heartbreak when he does remember that the love of his life is truly gone; never to be forgotten. She left a lasting legacy for that. ❤
RIP Mrs. Carter. You’ve left the world better than you found it. We are so grateful for you and your unwavering efforts to help so many others.

Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter's grandson Jason Carter delivers a tribute at a service at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on the campus of Emory University. Jason Carter ""My grandmother doesn’t need a eulogy; her life was a sermon." It was a touching sermon and there were parts that I laugh about the sandwiches on the plane. She and President Carter Habitat for Humanity gave my friend a house. To me she is going to heaven. My condolence to all her family and friends in the USA and around the world.

She is in heaven and I hope she is looking after our country. She is a power house, she is not dead, she just had a change of address.

"if the conjugial (yes with an "I") partners have lived in true conjugial love when one of them dies, the spirit of the deceased cohabits continually with the spirit of the partner not deceased , and this even to the death of the latter, when they again meet and reunite, and love each other more tenderly than before."
