Hey, Nice speedrun! I’ve been using this video to try and get the ‘No Continues For You!’ Achievement and have followed this guide decently well. I have recently been struggling with this damage boost 8:49. I can’t seem to get enough invincibility frames to go through the blue lasers and if I can’t go through there, the run is dead. I was wondering if you could go more in depth on your methods there? Thanks, and amazing speedrun!
When I damage boost off the lasers I throw a chainsaw right when I hit the ground. This causes the tumble animation when Sakuya hits the ground to immediately cancel allowing me to get control much sooner. This leaves more invincibility frames left to do the jump. A lot of newer players don't understand the point of the saw throw and don't do it but the jump is near impossible without the extra frames to do it. So if you aren't doing that give it a try. Otherwise, its all about getting muscle memory for the exact timing. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions I'd recommend joining the discord. @@SeanAyylmao I didn’t expect a response so quick! Thanks! I had thought that the chainsaw seemed to make you invincible for longer but still couldn’t hit it. I’ll try practicing it on my 100% save and see if I can hit it. Thanks for the swift response!
If you enter rooms while in time stop certain objects do not load properly. Mainly these are lasers, which are inactive; and spikes, which have no collision. As soon as you end time stop however the spikes collision will return to normal and will hurt you.
When you jump on top of a cannonball the cannon ball will gain a collision box as well as lose its damage box as such when you slide under the cannonball beside the door the falling cannon ball will collide with sakuya and the cannonball's collision box will push her through the floor. From here you can jump into the loading trigger for stage 5 and enter.

How do you regain MP so fast? Is it to do with all the damage you deal with chainsaws or some other speedrunning black magic?
You regain MP when you graze enemies and bullets. In the speedrun you purposefully position yourself to graze as many things as possible.

@@Villain5546 The graze you get in time stop gives both MP and time. The graze you get outside of time stop gives MP, time, and health.

Throwing a chainsaw will cancel the animation that plays after hitting the ground in a damaged state.
