I've been looking for months for a series 1-4 y62, and these that you have gone through have mainly been up there for quite a while. People are thinking they are definitely worth more than they are. I thought series 1 ST-L's were the only ones with conventional suspension? You looked at that 'rare' gold one, which was a Ti-L and said it was conventional too, am i wrong?
Yeah, I was wondering that as I was scrolling through them. Some of them are probably on the higher end on the price scale and are waiting to be talked down. Some aren't too bad. Have you spoken to any sellers yet? Are they negotiable at all? You're right the Ti and Ti-L of that year did have HBMC. It was 1 in the morning when I recorded this haha. It also has miss matched tyres.
@@WLD62 I have spoken to a few, some willing to come down 1-2k but mainly series 1's. The ones that have actually been priced accordingly have gone extremely quick. I'm in Vic and there's been a few priced nicely that have been up and gone before I can work out days off work and flights up to QLD mainly. Budget right now doesn't allow new, but thinking of waiting and saving more and getting new/slightly used series 5 unless the older ones come down more. Haha all good mate, I've learnt a fair bit watching your channel already. Can let one slide :p
@@slingerr3003 Wow, so not much wriggle room with the majority of sellers. QLD does seem to be fairly good with prices. But that's the other thing, you have to find the time to go there, cost of flights, accommodation and fuel on the way back etc... You may be better off waiting for a good series 5. Some cheap ones there, but do have higher kms, not that, that is a major red flag as long as they have had correct maintenance. Haha much appreciated mate!
