    Comprehensible Input in Portuguese
I love using comprehensible input methods in these videos as I believe it's the best way to help you remember the vocabulary and get exposure to the language and grammar rules in context without direct instruction. So listen closely, and try to follow my description without getting lost in the details. It's ok to not understand every word I say. You can always pause, rewind and watch again. Slow and steady wins the race.

I just want to say how much i appreciate your comprehensible input videos. I'm learning European Portuguese and have found it so difficult to find European Portuguese videos (brazilian seems far more common) As a beginner I enjoy listening and picking up the vocabulary with time. Please do make many more, very few youtubers are doing this for European Portuguese 🙏🏼 Thank you

It´s refreshing to get an unexpected reply to a forgotten comment. It reminds me of many years ago whem we were waiting anxiously a letter from home or a letter from a loved one. Then, it was a matter of the heart and every word counted because of the cost of the stamp. We didn´thave algorithms, neither instant press a button. It reminds me of the Christmas calendar video that you created or the song, the 12 days of Christmas.. Those are a part of my Christmas experience when I fist arrived as an immigrant in the US. That was the real present to me, knowing the joy of being loved by total strangers that welcomed me in their home and their hearts and everyday was filled with a new and beautiful experience that were all so new and fresh to me.I will cherish them all my life.

Nowadays things are happening so fast that we don´t have the time digest the contents of what we have received and consequently the value or life and persons are cheapened to the extent that we become blasés. While there is an emptiness sadly settling in the recesses of our hearts and minds, we have abandonned the liberty that we have from expressing our feelings honestly with the people that count in our lives, people that deserve to be heard and understood, that wait for a guiding hand and an encouraging word that will help them to take the next step in life knowing that they can count on the friends that have touched them and have allowed themselves to be touched and changed. To me this is what the relationship of teacher and student represents, An exchange of words, surprises, unintended reactions, dialogs wuthout a need to look at a watch because of boredom.

Thank you Adelina, for being that kind of a teacher that elicits the kind of warm and grateful response to your guidance as do I. I may be your oldest student and I appreciate so much your kind gestures that even if I have forgotten that I wrote a comment 1 or 2 months ago, I can be sure that one day when I am not feeling my best, I will have a surprise answer to a comment or a question that will put some wind in my sail and will ease my mind and guide me in the right direction. I like to think about it as a message in a bottle preferably of Porto wine taking its time to travel all the way from the Tavira coast to the west cThank you Adelina, for being that kind of a teacher that elicits the kind of response in your students that appreciate so muchoast of Brazil gently moved by the western Alyse wind insuring the arrival right on time. Rest well.
