It surprises me how "developed", if you will, this rag was. I would expect for this to have been written deep sometime in the ragtime era, but no, it was actually one of the first! Thanks for the upload!
I do like this piece. Adam Swanson described it as a piece written to sound like a marching band walking towards you and then away with the way it starts quietly getting louder till the middle and then getting quieter again
Every now and then I see a video of yours suggested and think it’s funny it took you so long to post that piece then see it’s several years old. For once the video is actually new.
