Contractor P & R Burbage harvesting Maize for winter cattle feed at Pode Hole Farm using a new CLAAS 970 jaguar and running a fleet of 4000 series JCB Agriculture Fastrac's pulling Stewart Trailers. The Maize is then squeezed into a AG-BAG for storage over winter then used as high quality feed for the heard of Beef Shorthorn cattle at the farm.

Some beastly machinery, but the maize hardly looks worth chopping unless it's some special variety. Just seen a photo from our local contractor where the maize is above the tractor cab

+Joe Barton i was thinkin the same thing our corn that we chopped was at least 12ft tall

+warfare23455 It was cut 1 month early than most of the 2015 crops as it was 1 month later then normal due to lack of sun light during the last 3 months before harvest with the AG bag system you are booked up months in advance so when the date came they had too harvest it still had a good yield
