fly baby 1B biplane build, issues with 50 yr old Resorcinol-formaldehyde glue

when I bought this aircraft I knew I would be rebuilding the wooden structure due to the glue system used and it being 50 years old. so glad I didn't fly any more in this aircraft than I did.....
PS...@1:20 where those short pieces came off with just a light tug, well when I was under the old fuselage I grabbed hold of the bottom diagonal (just aft of sta 5) and it was loose at the fwd end! Scary stuff indeed!!!

And you would never have known how bad it was until you recover it or it fell apart in the air!

Unfortunately it is still the only recognized glue by the FAA.
