About the game:

I think perhaps the zombies don't immediately think it's a survivor, because there are probably flickering lights in the building and they realized at some point "that's not meat, that's just light".
So they stop reacting to it.

@@geezjoe9679 probably cause crane was a really weak protagonist. DL1 was an absolute masterpiece, but that's entirely because of the gameplay. stereotypical cool guy drops in on a Mission™, then it turns out the people he was sent by are actually the bad guys, and he abandons them. it's a really fucking "meh" story that nobody was really bothered by because even today, it's easily in the top 5 gaming experiences ever made.

And to add more to that most of the characters didn't have much background on them, even Kyle Crane who's like the main protagonist, all we know about him is that hes from Chicago and used to run track in high school. Overall I loved his voice, was pleasing to hear throughout the game.

I’m liking the concept of the virus here, instead of needing antizin to stop you from turning. You instead go into the sunlight to stop you from turning. Since the virus has been mutating to extreme levels, it has become more sensitive to sunlight. So it makes sense. Very neat dynamic you got there

Yeah, I assume that from the mutations, antizin has went from weak to something that actually does nothing, as antizin just prevented the turning for a few days in Dying Light 1.
maybe the antizin did work but it's incomplete it does what it does of slowing the virus down then the sunlight kills it
But then that begs the question: what the hell do you do for 12 hours when the sun goes down? And doesn’t this now become more a vampire game then
So, the moral of the story is don't let you Vitamin D deficiency get too out of hand.
Funny, since vitamin D actually plays a huge role in aging and not looking like a zombie. Too bad most people are deficient without even being aware.

When I got my first ever golden weapon I did nothing but kill zombies
I said to myself, no way I'm buyin Dying Light 2, the first game was so stressful. After more than 100 hrs roaming Harran just bashing/cutting/exploding off zombie heads (which is something I really enjoy) Dying Light became easy for me and now come on bring DL2

I never play zombie games but dying light was just amazing! After finishing the main game I played the following which is without lying even better than the main game! This studio deserves credit because it is very gamer focused and support their game far after it's release!

Theres gotta be some lore tied to that we havent heard yet. The UV light used to be a defense item we used, it burned them, Now it seems they dont even notice it, nor are effected by it.

From the first game they tell you that infected ignore normal lights like flashlight. So keeping that on will only alert human enemies.
I know that I’m literally gonna piss my pants playing this whole game with being frightened, terrified, and the graphics. I also know I am gonna have a good time shitting my pants as well.

I don't fear scared games generally... but this, especially when you are running at night with this monster pursuing you, put my heart beat so fast.
From the Soundtrack to every single aspect, Dying Light is my favorite Game of all time. Now i am playing DL in VR Mode its freaking awesome.

Anyone else notice after coming back to this trailer that they put a filter over the image to look darker this is what we wanted so you do the opposite in the actual game but in the trailers you do that
no they just have the games brightness set down, that's something they tell you to do when you first load up the game.
@@doctorphonix1002 nah you can see they did something whether it’s color correction or a filter or something because I have my brightness turned down a lot in the game and it looks nothing like this and if you look at the flashlight it looks kinda dimmer and when you look at the bio makers they look darker then they normally do

Yeah, honestly F that. If I wanted a stealth horror game, I’d play outlast. This looks like stress level 99. They should have given us stealth as an option, not as the required method

It’s probably gonna run a system where either you have a time limit inside and then your watch starts beeping which means you have like a minute or so to get out of the building, or you can run and gun at any time but it’s just not a smart idea and lower levels because there’s no way you’ll be able to take that amount of zombies

I saw this quite late, but HOLY! These trailers are still as beautiful and well edited as they were for the first game and I (and probably everyone else) love it! Very good job on the trailer and the game, i love the way this trailer ilustrates the zombies so well without showing exactly how they react to everything at the same. This game is definetely gonna be awesome!

I was playing dying light 1 in virtual desktop on a quest 2 the other day. With the screen size maxed out and curved to wrap around your field of view as much possible it was quite immersive. It was also exceptionally nausea inducing, and without any head tracking it felt like being the world's most acrobatic paraplegic.

The relentless spawns and breaking weapons in saints and sinners put me off going very far, that and storage space om my SSD.

The volatile scream at the end is even more terrifying than the original. I think this game will make me crap myself.
The panting of the volatile when being chased right behind your ear is what made it even more terrifying, even more then the scream itself.

If light is so scary to infected, bringing a sledgehammer to open holes to the outside seems to be a pretty smart idea. Even smashing one window to have one lit up room would probably be a great idea. If the problem is that breaking walls is too loud, just do it from the outside. That way you should be able to clear out infestation hotspots like this.

This wouldn't work, they can't get the sun into every corner of a building, at most they'd get half of the rooms adjacent to the outer walls. From this trailer you can see that irradiated light from the sun doesn't work, it has to be applied directly.

If it's anything like Dying Light 1 then the parts where you have to stop yourself from turning are likely scripted events at certain parts of the story. I'd be surprised if they make it a real time limit mechanic it'd make gameplay too annoying.

All these infected types, and oh, here's a rusty pipe off the ground to get you started. Guns? Nah you don't need those. Bow or crossbow? Yea... that's gonna cost you about 10 grand or so. Better go get to looting, but don't stay out too late. :)

Did anyone else notice how near the end, Aiden's breathing went from normal to almost like a virals? Seriously, compare the beginning running breathing, then listen just before he got back outside, and you'll hear it.
You’re absolutely right! When he begins running and the bracelet first turns red you can clearly hear his breathing and towards the end when nearing to the door to escape into the light you can hear his breathing turn more into grunts and what almost sound like growls, that sound VERY similar to the Runners back in dying light 1 when they would chase you! 😄 Good observation.
@@MagnoliaN98 Pretty cool, huh? Not only that, but I think I saw a couple of zombies with Biomarkers themselves. Interesting little design not just to show off 'Red is bad', but also to remind you of how the zombies are like you or I, just turned.
It's a little sad it isn't a perfect 1:1 ingame, but I still like the fact that the little details were considered.
I really like how even with every mutation getting a new design, the Volatile looks the same, but a little improved. He doesn't need a upgrade or a new appearance, this one similar to the original is enough to make us shit ourselves.
I agree! The volatile looks just a bit more beefed up, a bit more terrifying, but overall the same design with that nerve-wracking scream. I love it

I'm glad they totally changed the setting and character so it doesnt just feel like an expansion of DL1
Would be cool to run around harran with the new parkour and new infected. Maybe in a post launch expansion maybe? “Return to harran” would be so cool seeing how it’s changed after all this time

I like the idea of having to move through a dangerous area quickly while under pressure, it really adds more of an emphasis on the parkour and navigating the environment as efficiently as possible
