The late beads on the Ao ult isn't that because they recently changed it so you can beads during any animation? So you can beads during a nezha ult too late but they still go off.

Sorry to hear about the clips and cryptic situation. Reminds me of the Shawn Cee drama where he had a clips guy wrongly take advantage of his trust and steal thousands of dollars with clips he wasn’t allowed to use.

I love your content. Though I feel like Elo Hell should play around players with a negative win rate. He's got a really good win rate, and if maintained, it masters would be reachable by the end of the season.

Yup as someone who never played this game seriously and just came back after like a 2 year break this series is perfect for me
I know people are gonna rip me a new one for this but I don't get why people max the 1 on Pos first. I understand the reason behind it but not the logic. Kinda like how ages ago people used to think leveling 2 on Vulcan at level 1 was the best play (s5 and earlier). I get the reason why they thought that but it just wasn't the best thing to do. Poseidon was the god that initially got me into masters and to this day I consider him to be one of if not my best god, got a high w/l almost 60% a TON of matches played and yeah, I tried maxing 1 first as well after a brief discussion with Venenu under one of his video's a while back but it just doesn't feel anywhere near as good and from what I've seen the community seems pretty divided on it like they used to be on Vulcan 1/2 start.
At 8:26 you said lower elo players max the 3 but you've got the likes of Adapting maxing it first as well, even if you say I'm crap (since you are leagues better than me) surely you can't discredit him. He's one example but there are plenty of other very high elo players and ex pro's etc. who all level the 3 first. Anyway point being that I don't think it's as cut and dry as you made it out to be. There are a ton of advantages to leveling the 3 first
Edit: Kinda off topic but I'm actually devastated I don't have the technical capability to play smite right now, this seasons looks like so much fun.
I'm not a very high ranked smite player (high gold-low plat) but I just assumed it was because the 3 dosen't do all its damage instanly so instead of trying to keep them in the 3 you just hit them with the 1 for guaranteed max dmg. The only thing I can see you leveling the 3 over 1 for is peel, because I don't think anyone bar a tank wants to walk through a maxed Posideon 3 however, the 3 doesn't need to be levelled to be a good self peel. So by levelling the 1 you can have high dmg output while keeping you're 3 for self-peel should it be necessary but again im not a very good player so idk if that thought process works at higher ranks.
maxing 1 was good because it would 1 shot creeps and camps at a lower cooldown. in earlier seasons whirlpool cd would slow down your farming. but in 10.6 patch you both have to travel longer distances and you lack the damage to 1 shot camps so maxing whirlpool is better.
@@dairelong4575 Yeah, that is the reason behind it and while I understand that, I believe the logic and maths doesn't really compute.
Leveling the 1 only adds burst but if a player has decent mechanics he can accurately aim the 3 so that the enemy is placed in the center of the whirlpool, without beads it'll do just as much dmg before they walk out of it plus if a player is bad mechanically then they can't hit the 1 consistently anyway and it's still better to go for 3 to at least get a tick or two of dmg and add a bit of area control. Maxing the 3 also decreases its cooldown from 15 to 11 secs which does a lot: lower cooldowns mean more safety, better farming efficiency, more control during teamfights, the 1 tends to be combo'ed after the 3 so it's better for overall kit synergy etc.
The 3 also does a better job comboing with the 2nd ability than the 1 because the 1 pushes enemies away whereas the 3 locks them in place allowing you to safely hit them with aa's. The 2 is insanely powerful and has to be leveled second so there is even more synergy in the kit when maxing 3.
If you have your ult then Poseidon early/mid is strong enough to 1 shot any squishy with his combo anyway so why the need for extra burst? Leveling the 1 to do 120% of someone's hp when the combo already does 105% when leveling the 3 is just wasted dmg AND this analogy doesn't even work well cause if they don't have beads you'll get every tick of whirlpool while using the combo so it'll end up doing more dmg anyway so in that sense it's still better for the 1 shot burst.
There are so many advantages that i believe make the 3 better to level than the 1 but it's already getting kinda long. In conclusion I look at it like this: In universe X Poseidon's 2 only gives extra dmg so people max it because it's burst but in universe Y the 2 gives 80% as much bonus damage though in some cases can give 120% as much damage as in universe X but also offers the movement speed, cooldowns, attack speed etc. That's how I view the discussion on whether to max the 1 or the 3, yeah 1 does more dmg but the 3 does more things and dmg loss isn't significant enough to make it not worth leveling. Hopefully I wasn't too confusing.
Edit: There is an argument to be made for both and while I think the 3 is better I understand why people would argue for the 1. The main point was that weak3n said it like leveling the 3 was what lower elo players did but the GoaT of smite is leveling the 3 and a bunch of max elo players, pro's ex-pro's etc. are also chosing to level it over the 1 just as you have pro's, ex pro's and top elo players leveling the 1 over the 3. It's not a discussion as simple as saying bad players level 3 and good players level 1 first.
@@patrickwitek Yeah thats a pretty fair argument, I suppose it just comes down to preference or habit at at that point if you're used the levelling the 1 and it works why fix it, but if the 3 is as good as you make it sound and there are already high lvl players levelling it over the 1 then maybe the general consensus will change but who knows smite is an odd place

Bro has to watch LoL worlds. stadium is always full. Tremendous amount of merch exclusive to the even so they can over price it😂. Concerts, mini events within the showcase. They try to make it an experience rather than just showing up to watch games. Makes the consumer feel like they’re getting a lot for what they pay even if you only buy the seats to watch the concert, skin reveals, games etc. Not to mention they market worlds like it’s the superbowl

Pos runs away all game while his team carries him, doesn't use any relics, but is actually plat? I've said this before. I think you're injecting a lot of personal bias. You thought he was smurfing early on and you never readjusted from your initial impression. If anything, this game was a bad exhibition because of how little pressure the pos was under most of the match. I agree with the twitch chat that says he'll get clapped without a team around him.
His problems are easy fixes dawg and from his early game Weak3n definitely sees his potential so not to glaze but I don't think you should be criticize weak3n unless you're on his level no offense ofc and this was a Gold v low Masters players that's definitely impressive.
