That thing is nice. Wish I would have had that to live in, in 1979 when I lived in the campground on Hatteras Island. I had customized it for shows, ice box, bar top, bed to sleep. I camped beside the bathhouse, so the potty wasn’t necessary. I just love vintage things. Reminds me of very fond memories
i love that van, i was looking for one forever , but most are too far away from me...lucky you!!! You might want to keep it though, it's an extra home, could come in handy...Thank You for sharing, Great Job, hope to see you finish it ...🕊🕊💛💛
I was wondering why it said the engine cover could also be a bed. It is a stretch, but at least with you explaining it, makes sense. This thing is in decent shape, all things considered
Need some shag carpet in there. Turn the center console into a refrigerator combined with a cooler. Convert the van to electric and install a small diesel generator. That would also charge the battery. This is similar to how the new ram charger is going to be. Definitely gotta pimp it out complete with a retro paint job.
HEY. Do you know if this beauty was just outside of Tucson about 6 or 7 years ago !!!! Has to be the same van I offered the guy at a towing company to trade my Caddy for. I know this is it. Man I wanted that van !!!
I don't honestly know. I bought in 2014 from near San Antonio, TX. I don't know how long the guy I bought it from had it. I think he said it came from New Mexico. I also have maintenance receipts from Oregon in late 1990s and early 2000s.
