Everyone: Just uninstall, re download the app, and this time choose yes to enable notifications. Simple and worked for me. (iphone).

When I open the app the option for notifications is not listed ? Where did I go wrong ? I even updated the app

As at Jan 2023, go into Outlook app, click your profile picture (top left) and go to Settings (icon at the bottom). Notification options are there.
