Real MDMA, it's not snake oil or non therapeutic, can definitely be beneficial to someone who is chronically depressed or experiencing PTSD. MDMA allows one to sincerely express their thoughts, memories, and feelings without guilt. It can also allow one to feel love and connection that they have otherwise dimissrd due to a traumatic experience.

Count me as a skeptic who is really, really coming around. It seems clear that the future of psychology will at least, in part, come from what we learn about how the brain heals under psychedelics. I am interested in this form of therapy.
Not gonna lie all the ecstacy, mdma, methamphetamine and trip experiences were 100% the start of my recovery from trauma they helped me talk and confront them

I am so ecstatic to have discovered MAPS. This is truly a blessing for millions of people suffering right now. True gift from God and I pray our government is able to take their head out of their ass and legalize this treatment.
Freaking hilarious.. Oxycontin? Sure. Xanax? Sure. Amphetamine? Sure why not. A substance if used wisely the answer to all your problems? Nope not happening..
I know, right? Trying to heal but making people worry about a stroke... If your rolling and read that your more likely to have a stroke from a cheeseburger too many than right now.
Were those the best questions the interviewers could ask after seeing that clip? lol...great that this is becoming mainstream and MAPS is in phase 3 trials with great levels of success!
I can’t imagine using mdma in a silent/sitting/peacefull setting to be honest. The few times I used xtc i always got a nervous feeling before it was working and it was reduced when you started dancing and interacting with music/people/lights etc. I would flip out if I would take it while sitting on a chair I think :o.
Pure MDMA isn't "a party drug". Research finds that more than 50% of what's sold as MDMA on the streets, what we know as Ecxtasy, are mixed with a variety of other substances, and often don't contain any MDMA.
@@drpepper3838 High dosed but shit. People from 90s had different kind of MDMA made via Leuckart and doses were usually 50-100mg while today dutch pills have 200mg + but the effects are weaker.
@@666EuthanasiA666 the mdma is mdma, the chemical structure doesn't change when time goes by. And idk what you talk about that you say dutch pills are bad maybe find a better dealer
@@drpepper3838 1) MDMA is not MDMA. There are different enantiomers and polymorphs. 2) Every ecstasy tablet, powder or crystal is not only MDMA but also impurities from synthesis. These impurities may enhance or dull the effect of the drug. There's no valid explanation why people in 90s used only 50-100mg and were high af, loving and filled with empathy. Today people are just slightly high after 50-100mg dose so they dose higher (200mg+) and still can't reach the optimal high usually ending up "fucked up". Something is really wrong with most of the MDMA production today, but it began after 2010 when clandestine labs started using PMK glycidate from China as a precursor. China is known for impure drugs are precursors so I wouldn't be surprised that MDMA made from PMK glycidate is actually more neurotoxic and even carcinogenic to some extent (because of impurites in the PMK glycidate precursor that make it to a final form - ecstasy pill/crystal).
I have my PTSD completely figured out through taking pure MDMA crystals in a drink while listening to music and then spent hours having realizations about my past trauma then research the hell out it's effect on my brain until I understand the connection which always makes perfect sense! I did it so much that there's nothing left so now the MDMA crystals is just an energy drink I have focus, motivation, and energy but no desire for emotional connection, psychological thoughts about life, or pure joy for the things I like to do. Yes I have done my research on why I've come to this point and I do have a scientific answer that makes total sense.
please delete this comment then...if you believe this is an effective treatment and can help others. DO YOUR PART AND DELETE THIS. Your comment would lead a 'normie' to believe it's some highly addictive drug that's only going to fuck them up and is dangerous...when the truth of the matter is you have addiction problems, were completely irresponsible...not the drug itself.
So I started to abuse MDMA at age16 through 30 to cope with life and now I could really use it in therapy form to heal trauma, but it’s illegal in my area. Ironic.
1:45sec, the naivety in that womans question rings so loud. I took MDMA heaps in my early 20s, im 42 now. its not like something that people who enjoy taking, take regularly, its an every now and then drug.. not like alcohol or cigarettes where people feel the need to do it daily. But the effects are amazing, you become the most loving version of yourself that youve ever known, you can talk with the most love and honesty that youve never experienced in your life. its a truely wonderful drug if used correctly and responsibly. as i said, im 42, run a business as a chef, im on the ball. Theres been no lasting effects of taking this drug so often over a two or three year period from age 19 to 22. I was taking it most weekends, for one night only, usually consuming an average of three pills. i met some of the most interesting, educated, professional people and had some of the most wonderful deep conversations ive ever had. Thats my take on it.
That must have been a good dose of MDMA... that is not microdosing. Microdosing you will not have extreme feelings like that. MDMA is a wonderful medication but it can cause bounce back depression. I am so grateful they are using MDMA to treat people. There is a reason people like this medication, but you need to get the best therapist for this.
wow she has the blanket going and loving everything. The thing is we much not treat it like we did with opiates. If it doesnt fix the underlying problem, then its limits would be in the clinical settings like therapy.
“This was done in a clinical setting…” its schedule I, so most people will not have this luxury. It’s stupid to say all people that take it outside of a clinical setting are abusing it and can not have life changing experiences that they can integrate into their lives.
Mt ptsd is caused from childhood trauma and has effected me for years. Does this treatment work for issues that are caused by childhood trauma and does it help with the night terrors is what I want to know cause my ptsd causes me horrible night terrors and horrible anxiety to just be around most people and paranoia thoughts....just wondering if it works for those types of symptoms?
I had the worst, most traumatic experience of my life during MDMA assisted therapy with a highly trained professional. A new and indescribable level of hell opened up to me that day. It was like six hours of being tortured and eaten alive by wild demons. This was three months ago. I have been having panic attacks and struggling with despair and an almost ever-present fear of losing my mind ever since (symptoms that I did NOT have before). If there are others out there like me, I would like to find them for support. I am still struggling every day to recover from this experience, and I often feel hopeless that I will ever be able to heal from it. This very video convinced to do give this therapy a try. It turns out that the same woman in this video went into remission, did another round of MDMA therapy, and then had a super traumatic experience.
It's truly able to create incredible change but, it seems like I've been waiting for ever it seems for MAPS to set me up for a ( PTSD)study anywhere near or in Orlando, Florida area or even another state that's close but, I'm stuck on a waiting list. I've been struggling to find any meaning left for me in life. In the last few years everyone I love has either died or moved across the country... It's not getting easier and I honestly can't feel happiness anymore...
Hi Bluescarlet ( is thatname a Macaw reference ? )I have a 28yr old B&G Macaw, She's my Buddy. I am fairly new to Fl. Lake City, I suffer seriously from Bi polar & have a lot of physical & neurological damage from a fall & motorcycle crash 13 months apart as well. I have no doctor now, no pain meds , no income, no hope. Medical marijuana really works wonders for me to relieve alot of the physical pain, helps me to eat, & with it I need NO PSYCH MEDS WHATSOEVER. I'm sure MDMA theropy would be a great thing for me as well. But here in fl. neither are avail or legal. WTF only treatment is fill you fill of damn pills until you rattle when you walk or just cant function at al any longer & end up ODing. Fucking WONDERFUL . I'd like to talk more with you, it may help us both maybe. I have no inappropriate intentions here at all ok. Just FYI Kind Regards
I'd be very careful with that because it may seem safe in the short term but the long term use and potential consequences need to be fully understood. Ketamine was thought to be safe until long term users found out their bladders have been torn to shreads from using to much K.
+DarkSektori I agree, if it is to be legalized it should be done so under close study and only in therapy. After some time, if no ill effects are found, MAYBE make it legal as a recreational drug.
Keep in mind what "illegal" means, though. MDMA being illegal means you're going to lock someone up because they *might* hurt *themselves*. That's a ludicrously disproportionate response.
i can attest to the fact that this drug is addictive. thankfully my friend was my dealer and he knew when to cut me off. do NOT take this drug, it makes you feel so good that you want it all the time. if you dont try it you cannot get addicted - live by that
This drug isn't addictive. Addition is a mental disorder not a physical one. You can snort coke and smoke a cig and still not be addicted to it. If you have bad habit forming tendencies, you're at a higher risk of abusing this drug. That's true.
to a point. i never had addictive tendencies, and you cannot say for certain that someone can not get addicted to it. it can happen, and it could not happen. you are right - user case scenario will dictate this, but for me to say it is addictive or you to say it is not, is just plain wrong. so to sum it up i will admit i was wrong in the way i presented my experience with it, but i can say that you are wrong as well for saying it is not. point is dont try it because it could happen
MDMA can be a very very very highly mentally addictive substance, the misuse of the substance leads to the lack of serotonin (serotonin syndrome) which causes to awful lows you can get from taking either 1: too high of a dose, or 2: too frequent of use. The general rule for it is to take it with at least 3 months break in between doses, and to take a dose that is tested for purity and measured out to the appropriate amount per your body weight
Austin Byron, > the lack of serotonin (serotonin syndrome) Do you even know what serotonin syndrome is? Stop spouting nonsence. Serotonin syndrome is the excess of serotonine, not the lack of it. By the way, tried MDMA for the first time not a long ago, and not only that, but an awfully high dosage (480mg, did it by accident). I expected the next few days to be awful and thought that my serotonin will be at its lowest, but instead i felt greater than ever, i felt motivated and invigorated, and that kind of an afterglow state helped me realize that i was depressed the last few years and helped me find joy again in the simplest things like walking down the street and staring at the sky.
Very Very few people abuse this drug. The returns diminish too quickly. Within a week of daily use the negative effects far far outway any enjoyable effects.
Thank god these psychoactive, psychedelic, hallucinogenics, entheogenics, even dissociatives. They can change lives. I had a life changing ketamine treatment for a pain disease. I would like to have an mdma treatment to talk about my trauma i have alot. I've had psychedelic trips and one LSD trip where my brain placed things back and the ketamine (administered by doctors) was for pain but it can be used for anxiety and treatment resistant depression. These aren't party drugs they shouldn't be used this way
Some dear friends of mine who know about my life told me yesterday that they want gift one of these sessions to me with a practitioner they did it with. One of these friend's is now a very different person; however she is also reunited with the love of her life (from 45 years ago) & in a heightened, blissful state to begin with. I live in upstate NY where it is VERY granola/new age & I absolutely LOATHE that bullshit more than pretty much anything because it makes people into ineffectual, spouters of meaningless woo word salad who go in circles buying books that all say the same pseudo profundities. My fear is that they don't realize that all the "oh thank you for being here" during the session (like the woman in the video) is simply because you are on Ecstasy & that's how it makes you feel. It's precisely why everyone was dancing & lovingly touching each other at clubs in NYC in the 90s. Back then I was always the person who would ruin it for myself during those times because I feared it would make me lose my mind or lose control so I would drink wine with it the minute it started to kick in. Now as an adult my friends are trying the therapy & as much as I desperately want to feel unstuck & just do it; I'm so worried that my cynical self will get in the way of the experience. When I listened to the tape of my friend's session, the woman who administered the therapy was playing New Age music & talking about love & light & that aspect of it just turned me off. I do believe it can help people, in the same way that self authoring or re-experiencing trauma safely does, but so concerned about doing it. Has anyone in the comments had a bad experience with it?
I think before trying it should practice meditation and know the basics of spirituality such as non duality and oness.than you can truly awaken with the MDMA and you will be able to make an impact on mankind, good luck
i was in pharmacy school and my research paper was the benefits of MDMA for PTSD in sessions. Man shes rolling. This Antidepressant or therapy is actually something to really pay attention to. So is ketamine for neurogenesis, and apparently some are studying psylocibin. I wonder also if studies are looking at MDA:MDMA mixture. Its said tho the lack of the methyl group in MDA makes it more hallucinogenic however. I wonder during what time into the sessions provide the best counselling. Im thinking just after the peak
All psychoactive medicines have their limitations and don't necessarily effect everyone the same, including MDMA, all psychoactive medicines have at least a few cases with very adverse reactions to the medicine, including MDMA, it becomes a cost benefit analysis if the medical worth of the substance outweighs the rates of adverse reactions and side effects, at very least one prescreening therapeutic talk interview for an hour can greatly improve the chance that a psychoactive medicine will help and at least not hurt, but medical professionals genuinely qualified to make such determinations consistently accurate are very hard to find, also currently the necessary complement to interviews, the lab testing on the client/patient to consistently accurately make prescriptions is very far behind where it needs to be, and whatever more advanced progress any given country has achieved would be unavailable or too costly right now, While some client/patients get lucky and find the correct prescription right away, there are others that may have to go through years of interviews, several various prescriptions, counseling, and whatever primitive lab testing available, before finally settling in on a medicine beneficial to them despite these and other limitations prescriptions for approved psychoactive medicines can be worth it for some people that have a genuine mental health need, with few to no side effects or adverse reactions if taken as recommended by a qualified medical professional But it's rare a psychoactive medicine substantially different from anything currently on the market gets approved so options remain fairly stagnant other than simple yet sometimes worthwhile upgrades to similar older products in the main lines such as anti-depressant anti-psychotic anti-anxiety MDMA may represent an actual new viable option to choose from for some people, and also possibly after 20 or so years will have proved an avenue towards a set of options the research community will have developed, beyond what is currently on the market for psychoactive and mental health medicines Like most all medicines and drugs with psychoactive attributes which effect mental health and outlook, the possibility of addiction and/or abuse exists, and should be monitored by healthcare staff such as through sufficiently convenient local periodic in person checkups, and other means deemed fit! MDMA as well there is a current very real danger that especially younger people face of obtaining poor quality, impure, counterfeit, or even deadly psychoactive drugs on the street, this includes drug products claimed to be MDMA some type of MDMA product and obtained through valid prescription has a far greater chance of finding stable long term use in the medical community than the hopes for LSD and 'pschedelic' mushrooms, which may yes have medical applications and some success stories to back them up, but however with just too high a rate of inconsistent and adverse effects to be accepted long-term past medical standards other than "at your own risk"
+sushi455 illegally, it can be mixed with a bunch of shit. you never know what it really is. plus, it's risky buying illegally. I haven't ever done that so I'll pass. the psychotherapy aspect is also extremely important.
It is specifically used for all types of anxiety disorders. I personally have used it in therapeutic settings and has helped with my depersonalization.
A lot of you talk like you don't realise mdma itself is an amphetamine, however it does realise Seratonin in large amounts as well as oxytocin Wich promotes bonding associated with the mdma experience. I suppose this is what separates it from other amphetamines
MDMA is structurally related to amphetamines. One important difference between MDMA and amphetamines is the presence of the methylenedioxy group (-O-CH2-O-) attached to the aromatic ring. This attachment makes it also resemble the structure of the psychedelic: mescaline.
It stands for (3,4-)MethyleneDioxyMethAmphetamine It's a drug that makes you really really happy and feel like you love/connect deeply with everyone But it's also very bad for you
And have somebody with you. If not a therapist, then a friend or family member you can trust to help you when all your fears and/or repressions are out in the open.
I'm confused by all the names. Is ecstacy also MDMA? What is molly? In what ways are the highs different? Are they dangerous? Are they anything like cocaine? LSD?
+Ashley Boudreau Ecstacy is a pill form of the actual drug MDMA, MDMA is the drug itself. MDMA is less dangerous than all drugs other than Mushrooms and LSD. MDMA is different to cocaine in the sense that cocaine is a stimulant, which gives energy and MDMA is an empathogen, which promotes openness and feelings of love, euphoria and general all round joy. LSD and MDMA are more similar than Cocaine and MDMA, however are still very different. LSD is a psychedelic, which allows access to deeper levels of consciousness, good or bad. MDMA essentially blocks the bad half of consciousness and only allows access to the positive.
Just like Heroin, is only the "street name". It's real name is diacetylmorphine. LSD is called "Lysergic acid diethylamide". Cocane is called "benzoylmethylecgonine" PCP aka 'Angel dust" is called "Phencyclidine" the street names make it easier for the drug to circulate through the black market and people don't need to have a degree in chemistry to identify these substances.
+joel isom Just like Heroin is the Morphine molecule with 2 acetyl groups added. Heroin was created initially to replace Morphine, it's more water soluble which allows it to cross the blood brain barrier more easily. According to medical journals written before it was made a schedule 1 drug Heroin when used in a medical setting was superior to Morphine by the fact that less was needed to produce the same results, and Heroin had a better side effect profile (it was less likely to produce negative side effects) The slight difference was duration of effects which if anything Heroin's effects lasted maybe an hour less. Also when Heroin enters the body it's converted into Morphine hence why the effects are so similar. Heroin might produce a moderately increased body high, due to the fact that Heroin triggers your body to release high amounts of Histamine. Regardless Heroin is still used in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands as an effective means of pain management and that's available by Prescription also. So whats the difference between street and medical Heroin? Street Heroin has a goldish color and could be laced with who knows what. Nowadays you would be lucky to find affordable street Heroin that might contain a third of actual Heroin. Pharmaceutical grade Heroin is clear and 100% pure "diacetylmorphine" which if taken under a doctor's care is no more dangerous then Morphine. One other thing if they want to say Heroin is powerful it's nothing like Fentanyl which is 50 times stronger then Heroin, so why isn't that illegal then? All Opiates are addicting and cab kill you if abused. Deadly? Heroin is about as dangerous and addictive as Oxycontin. Oh yeah if you try and get help/treatment, all I have say is Methadone, yeah I would rather smoke raw opium or drink 3 cups of "laudanum" then take Methadone.

Count me as a skeptic who is really, really coming around. It seems clear that the future of psychology will at least, in part, come from what we learn about how the brain heals under psychedelics. I am interested in this form of therapy.
This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
Not gonna lie all the ecstacy, mdma, methamphetamine and trip experiences were 100% the start of my recovery from trauma they helped me talk and confront them
Ive had profound mystic snd spiritual experiences on MDMA, definitely therapeutic
This made wanna cry, life's is beautiful
Had the same effect with Salvia.. Made me change my perspective of life and the world.
aBOUT TIME WE ARE WAKING UP TO THE EMPATHOGENIC EFFECT OF THIS
thank God that this video was created. Normally whenever a professional that does t take these drugs like MDMA, they speak o issue why not to take it. this video does not courageous the use of MDMA, but it educates the intentrd purposes of it and speak positively of its intended uses. this made me very happy to see.
She was rolling absolute balls
I am so ecstatic to have discovered MAPS. This is truly a blessing for millions of people suffering right now. True gift from God and I pray our government is able to take their head out of their ass and legalize this treatment.
We've been doing this for years anyway, they are just now catching on.
lol in the middle, in a segment about a strong anti-anxiety drug, an advert for later in the show that says 'when to worry about your sagging face'
I need this-- my family traumatized me and I can't move forward.
I'm sorry. I can srsly relate
This made me cry :)
I ducking hate when doctors call it ecstasy. But it’s great this is getting more in the public eye
Pure MDMA isn't "a party drug". Research finds that more than 50% of what's sold as MDMA on the streets, what we know as Ecxtasy, are mixed with a variety of other substances, and often don't contain any MDMA.
Maybe in ur country but here in the Netherlands there are good pills
@@drpepper3838 High dosed but shit. People from 90s had different kind of MDMA made via Leuckart and doses were usually 50-100mg while today dutch pills have 200mg + but the effects are weaker.
@@666EuthanasiA666 the mdma is mdma, the chemical structure doesn't change when time goes by. And idk what you talk about that you say dutch pills are bad maybe find a better dealer
@@drpepper3838
1) MDMA is not MDMA.
@@666EuthanasiA666 people only still use 100mg because here in the Netherlands the pills are so strong people always take half
PLEASE TEST YOUR SUBSTANCES GUYS!!!!!!

She was on Reset with a wonderful story! Mother I would love to Roll With
I've done MDMA many times. It's great while on it, but there is a crash most times. So don't expect to use it all of the time to treat anything.
Del pure mdma shouldn’t have much of a “crash” usually a good way to tell if you have pure stuff is if you can sleep on it
5-HTP helps replenish Serotonin & creates less of a crash.
The crash is irrelevant if you're using it to cure a chronic mental illness.

So I started to abuse MDMA at age16 through 30 to cope with life and now I could really use it in therapy form to heal trauma, but it’s illegal in my area. Ironic.
Saw someone candyflip and fall in love with a cup of wine... strange but funny 😂
I need to get on this treatment with some glowsticks and good techno asap!

Wow, Rachael is lovely ❤
Could any of the lawmakers be punished for making it illegal?
wow she has the blanket going and loving everything. The thing is we much not treat it like we did with opiates. If it doesnt fix the underlying problem, then its limits would be in the clinical settings like therapy.
hate it when people abuse this beautiful molecule and snort it which is basically permanent brain damage at those dosages
Would be great to see a follow up!!!
“This was done in a clinical setting…” its schedule I, so most people will not have this luxury. It’s stupid to say all people that take it outside of a clinical setting are abusing it and can not have life changing experiences that they can integrate into their lives.
I had this when I was a kid
Mt ptsd is caused from childhood trauma and has effected me for years. Does this treatment work for issues that are caused by childhood trauma and does it help with the night terrors is what I want to know cause my ptsd causes me horrible night terrors and horrible anxiety to just be around most people and paranoia thoughts....just wondering if it works for those types of symptoms?
WOW, Just WOW!
Darling you go from some shrooms...

MAPS plan to have MDMA legalized in only 5 years, so please don't give up hope!
brainchild I'm praying🙏 and trying to hold on... Just have to find some help and insurance soon😛 😀
Bluescarlet Hold on, be strong :) I wish you all the best.
Just FYI Kind Regards
lets legalize mdma.
+Blazer Every drug legal or not is bad in high amounts. I mean hell, water is toxic in high amounts.
Nahh lets just keep closing people in jail for their
free will.
Austin Byron,
> the lack of serotonin (serotonin syndrome)
Do you even know what serotonin syndrome is?

I love MDMA!
I love MDMA too, and I haven't even taken it. The more I read and see and hear about it, the more I love it.
I love it cause it showed me love and compassion, removed my fear of death and was able to truly connect with others and learn from my experiences
Anthony Cote
This is what I read and see and hear about it.
I think before trying it should practice meditation and know the basics of spirituality such as non duality and oness.than you can truly awaken with the MDMA and you will be able to make an impact on mankind, good luck
Anthony Cote
Thank you. I don't know if I will ever take it, but if I ever do I will remember what you said.
i was in pharmacy school and my research paper was the benefits of MDMA for PTSD in sessions.
Mdma made my anxeity horrible so idl if I agree completely if it works
All psychoactive medicines have their limitations and don't necessarily effect everyone the same, including MDMA, all psychoactive medicines have at least a few cases with very adverse reactions to the medicine, including MDMA, it becomes a cost benefit analysis if the medical worth of the substance outweighs the rates of adverse reactions and side effects,
at very least one prescreening therapeutic talk interview for an hour can greatly improve the chance that a psychoactive medicine will help and at least not hurt, but medical professionals genuinely qualified to make such determinations consistently accurate are very hard to find, also currently the necessary complement to interviews, the lab testing on the client/patient to consistently accurately make prescriptions is very far behind where it needs to be, and whatever more advanced progress any given country has achieved would be unavailable or too costly right now,
While some client/patients get lucky and find the correct prescription right away, there are others that may have to go through years of interviews, several various prescriptions, counseling, and whatever primitive lab testing available, before finally settling in on a medicine beneficial to them
despite these and other limitations prescriptions for approved psychoactive medicines can be worth it for some people that have a genuine mental health need, with few to no side effects or adverse reactions if taken as recommended by a qualified medical professional
But it's rare a psychoactive medicine substantially different from anything currently on the market gets approved so options remain fairly stagnant other than simple yet sometimes worthwhile upgrades to similar older products in the main lines such as anti-depressant anti-psychotic anti-anxiety
MDMA may represent an actual new viable option to choose from for some people, and also possibly after 20 or so years will have proved an avenue towards a set of options the research community will have developed, beyond what is currently on the market for psychoactive and mental health medicines
Like most all medicines and drugs with psychoactive attributes which effect mental health and outlook, the possibility of addiction and/or abuse exists, and should be monitored by healthcare staff such as through sufficiently convenient local periodic in person checkups, and other means deemed fit! MDMA as well
there is a current very real danger that especially younger people face of obtaining poor quality, impure, counterfeit, or even deadly psychoactive drugs on the street, this includes drug products claimed to be MDMA
some type of MDMA product and obtained through valid prescription has a far greater chance of finding stable long term use in the medical community than the hopes for LSD and 'pschedelic' mushrooms, which may yes have medical applications and some success stories to back them up, but however with just too high a rate of inconsistent and adverse effects to be accepted long-term past medical standards other than "at your own risk"

Does it cure Depersonalization/Derealization and anxiety?
It is specifically used for all types of anxiety disorders. I personally have used it in therapeutic settings and has helped with my depersonalization.
If the anxiety is paired with schizophrenia, it might worsen the condition.
The audience look so puzzled
A lot of you talk like you don't realise mdma itself is an amphetamine, however it does realise Seratonin in large amounts as well as oxytocin Wich promotes bonding associated with the mdma experience. I suppose this is what separates it from other amphetamines
MDMA is structurally related to amphetamines. One important difference between MDMA and amphetamines is the presence of the methylenedioxy group (-O-CH2-O-) attached to the aromatic ring. This attachment makes it also resemble the structure of the psychedelic: mescaline.
What does mdma stand for? What is it?
It stands for (3,4-)MethyleneDioxyMethAmphetamine
It's a drug that makes you really really happy and feel like you love/connect deeply with everyone
But it's also very bad for you
Does anyone know if there is anyone doing MDMA Therapy Studies in the UK?
I have been struggling for years and its time to heal
And have somebody with you. If not a therapist, then a friend or family member you can trust to help you when all your fears and/or repressions are out in the open.
any luck mate? I plan to do this myself, not sure about it though.
I'm confused by all the names. Is ecstacy also MDMA? What is molly? In what ways are the highs different? Are they dangerous? Are they anything like cocaine? LSD?
all the same
+Ashley Boudreau Do research. Too much miss information here
+Ashley Boudreau Ecstacy is a pill form of the actual drug MDMA, MDMA is the drug itself.
Cocane is called "benzoylmethylecgonine"
PCP aka 'Angel dust" is called "Phencyclidine" the street names make it easier for the drug to circulate through the black market and people don't need to have a degree in chemistry to identify these substances.
Oh, god-forbid she felt some euphoria out of the experience, LOL... This host "doctor" drives me absolutely insane. People like him are a HUGE part of the cultural stigmas our "free" society has to face with regards to these so-called "recreational" drugs. Such a shame... And when it comes to CSA Schedule 1 drugs, it's honestly tragic for the scientific community (AKA the LAST people we should be keeping these drugs from). Scientists/researchers are some of the most law-abiding citizens out there.
