Wow I saw this before I started learning Arabic and had no idea what you were saying. Now I'm learning about verbs that don't strictly follow the يَفْعَلُ pattern and this video is a game changer. I just have one question. If the second-person male and third-person female forms are identical, how would you know which is being referred to if both are possible in the context? Would you just use the pronoun?
Context context context. Remember if you see تذهب or something like it without a person being spoken to; more than likely it is 3rd person female.

Hey Sam, I got the book, 501 Arabic verbs. I have a question on page 140. Do you know why there is a fetta instead of a dhamma over the س in the present tense conjugation of 'he studies'?

In my opinion it's best to learn the past first :) but when the present is taught it should be linked back to the past.
