Hello Taya from Australia. Yes , I have followed you for a long time now. I also grew up in the country here in Australia, so I can Identify with very closely with your video today. I just loved it so much. Thankyou. I recognise all the plants and vegetables growing in your Grand parents garden . I especially love that beautiful rich black soil that Ukraine is famous for. Thank you so much again Taya.
Hi Taya (and thanks Rodney) I just love your story! I'm now in my 70's but in 1950 my father died (I was just 3months old) I was sent to live with my Grandparents. “A mixed farm in North West Victoria, Australia” Very much like your town, but not as green, hotter and less water! [On a very hot day I would disappear ‘go under the Wheat Barn, cuddle up to a sheep, they didn’t mind me, yes they felt warm but I was out of the blistering heat] My Grandfather toiled hard farming wheat in the heat, manually with 2 horses. My Grandmother tendered a vegie garden ‘just like yours’ with hens’ and geese. (As a child the geese were a bit scary!) “My old folks worked very hard, but they lived well and all were as fit as a Bull into there 80’s” Love your story. Slava Ukraine. LesC
