Do you recall if there is a connector for the IR sensor? I had to replace the body and followed your video. Now the IR remote no longer works, tested the battery and know it is fresh so I think it may be the IR sensor and I may have missed connecting it. Thank you!
Well, that little rubber next to the battery port where you would usually put the cable in case you are using a "fake battery" is missing, looking at the camera seems that I'll need to disassemble the whole camera just to replace that rubber protector...
You might try to squeeze the rubber through the hole. If that doesn't work, then yes, you have to disassemble the camera to put back that small rubber.
