What happened was that the side door was jammed shut when I bought the van (Citroen Berlingo) and they lowered the price because of it but a week after I bought it the door started opening again. I must've stashed it under the barrow, closed it and it jammed again and somehow forgot the Stihl was under it. I bought another one, heaped hessian on top of the barrow and left it at that. We live and learn. Claimed it back on tax though.

I always keep a tidy van but then I’m a multi trader…can’t work out of a messy van drives me bonkers! The amount of time wasted otherwise trying to find tools etc! Much nicer all clear and clean! Less stress!

Just bought not lonh ago the dewalt disc cutter great tool get one mate batteries do go a bit though but a brilliant tool. Dewalt is best on the market watch Concorde carpenter. He’s actually a millwauke and makita man for me he gives the best in depth reviews and tests on tools. Av had 1 for a year now and it’s a great piece of kit just waiting on the 15ah battery coming out now. Use the marcrist blade on it. But must say the dewalt blade at £40 is very also.

Mate I saw a S wing brick hammer today for 60 quid..looked amazing..but thought to myself..I've got 4 brick hammers already...and currently dont use them..so why do you want a new one😂😂😂😉 Brilliant shop mate, we worked in Swadlincote for a year or so and was always there 😂 I asked about Blake's and they were out of stock 😨 they did have mortar stands and gator boards but the stands were 900 wide or something stupid and only had one board in😂
Good video marra.my trowel is like a ducks foot and was originally a marshalltown 12 inch. It's probably now a similar size to Charlie's 7 inch. I've just bought an ox level and find it canny but nowt like the faithful stabilla's . I tidy/clean my tranny van every other Sunday and after afew days it's a shit tip🤣......its always clean on the outside which is good for business I find.Pull up at a job in a scruffy rust bucket of a van and customers assume your work will be rough! All of those trowels would be ideal for an octopus izzy🤣take care mate.

I've noticed that Marshalltowns wear down so fast..one usually does me 2 years before it becomes nasty to work with..unless it's just how I wear them down😂 Those skinny ox levels are lovely to work with because they're so light, but if you drop them there about done😂😂 dont know if you saw at the beginning, I walked in with my 4ft stabilla..dropped it off a scaffolding and it's got a right whip in it now😨 gonna see if there 10 year guarantee stands up😂 Good shout on keeping the van clean mate..especially on privates..let's see how long I can maintain it😂😂 Hope your well Dave!🍻 Enjoy your evening 😊

Also I had that London pattern trowel you picked up but left it on a garage job, someday I’ll go back and see the finished job and collect my trowel.. vans exactly the same mate, looks much smarter now you’ve tidied it 👍🏼

Its brilliant mate, I walked round for about an hour. Every brand has it's own isle and every tool type has it's own shelf. So theres a whole wall of tape measures, whole wall of trowels, claw hammers..would reccomend mate!

To be honest, you wouldn't want any of my old levels😂 I've abused them too much If I were you mate, I'd buy a ox level set, very cheap and reliable 😊 and you can easily get a 20 quid trowel from Amazon which is good too. I wouldn't recommend buying 2nd hand buddy. Just for the simple fact, you'll always remember buying and using your first, very own levels and trowel, best feeling as an apprentice 😊 Have a good weekend buddy, also where as you based?

Look forward to more footage, setting out blockwork would be a good video

Got a 1911 leather handle 2 weeks ago.handle is slightly thicker than the durasoft handle.the rust that is on it is unreal.marshaltown aren't what they used to be

Dewalt saw is a superb bit of kit buddy.

That trowel is a wide London pattern, my choice of pattern, I go for a W Rose trowel though.

Got a 1911 leather handle 2 weeks ago.handle is slightly thicker than the durasoft handle.the rust that is on it is unreal.marshaltown aren't what they used to be

Nah i can't work out from a dirty van plus I have to wear clean work clothes everyday and I clean my tools end of the day terrible ocd but it's how I operate
